Chapter 100: Legal Action

Daniel jolted awake, disoriented. "What was that?" he mumbled, still reeling from a dream where Anastasia had slapped him. Holding his cheek, he looked around in confusion, only to spot Leo walking in wearing only his pants.

"Finally awake?" Leo shook his head, clicking his tongue. "And no, that wasn't just a dream. She really did slap you last night." He smirked, heading into the bathroom and laughing loudly.

Leo's voice echoed from behind the door. "Hey, look on the bright side. Consider it a wake-up call—one you probably needed!"

Daniel frowned, pressing his hand to his cheek as he tried to piece together the events of the night before. As memories of his drunken antics flooded back, his eyes widened in realisation. He recalled how their argument had escalated when Anastasia refused to let him inside.
