Ugh, and she had only just gotten back, I was lonely once more. But at least I knew she was one call away.

As she came back her expression turned serious, she also came back with some guards at her back, big tall men on both side. I looked at her, concern furrowing my brows. "Is something wrong, Ustra?"

Her gaze held a mixture of sorrow and resolve. "Tanya, there's something you need to know. Our kingdom is facing a dire situation. The king has just been pronounced dead and this has turned me into a suspect of aiding the kings death, the queens coming for my head."

Surprise and disbelief swept over me, settling heavily in my chest. "Dead" I said in disbelief. "Suspect?" it was all taking time for my brain to process this new information. " What are we going to do now?" I asked.
