ARIS POV
I paced around the room, waiting for Nicholas' arrival. He was taking too long, and I was beginning to get really anxious. I was slowly starting to become pissed about the whole situation. Why does he have to go meet her in the first place? What does she have to say that is so important?
I let out a deep sigh as I sat down on the bed, doing my best not to frown too much. I had been going back and forth since he left, and I'm fed up and frustrated with the whole drill. Two things were making me go crazy: first, why she called him, and second, why he had to stay so long.
"What the heck are they talking about?" I muttered angrily, feeling irritated by everything that was going on. None of it makes sense at all; he really doesn't need to take this much time just discussing with her.
The knock on the door interrupted my thoughts, and my face immediately twisted into a frown. I got off the bed sluggishly and opened the door. It was the cook knocking.
