The noodles were delicious, and we finished them within a few minutes.
Bobby smiled and looked at the waitress the whole while.
It was then I noticed that the waitress was rather good-looking.
"Bobby, stay focused. Remember what happened last time."
Bobby's face turned stern when he heard what I had told him.
"Sam, you are such a great conversationalist. Do you know that?", he said and took out a cigarette.
"Well, I don't want you going through it again," I shrugged my shoulders and said.
The waitress, seeing that Bobby was trying to light up a cigarette, took out her lighter and helped him.
"Thanks," Bobby said and looked at me.
He listened and didn't want to engage her further.
I sighed and asked for the bill.
It's a life we chose, and there are prices that we need to pay.
"Bye, thanks for the noodles," Bobby waved and said as we left.
