We bid Adarna farewell and left her place after we were done with all the details regarding the 'acquisition'.

By that time, it was already afternoon, and we decided to go for lunch first.

We were enjoying our meal when in the corner of my eye, I saw a group of men who kept looking in our direction.

The leader of the group stood up and walked over to our table.

He was a middle-aged man, with pork chop sideburns like Elvis and wore lots of gold necklaces on his neck.

"Hi, my name is Remando, pleased to meet you," he said and stared at Amy Lee's chest.

"Go away, she's taken," I said and grabbed Amy Lee's hand.

Amy Lee was at first shocked at what I'd done but didn't pull back her hand; she just smiled at the man.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. You've misunderstood. I'm interested in the necklace your girlfriend is wearing. The craftsmanship is just excellent and unique," he said apologetically.
