Chapter 6: The Mystic Circus Of Oddities

(Continuing on their way to Violet City, Mew and the group continue on their journey across a large open field area.)

(It's actually a very beautiful grass field, there are some flowers and trees, but a wide open field and the sky is clear.)

(Misty happily sighs.)

Misty: "What a beautiful day."

Mew: "I know, the sun is shining bright and the day is beautiful,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "It really is a nice day, and there's not a cloud in the sky,"

(Brock says.)

Jen: "Maybe we can have a picnic here?"

(Jen suggests.)

Brock: "Yeah. Since we've been traveling a while, it might be a good idea to stop for lunch,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew brings out her Pokenav and says.)

Mew: "And we still have a long way to go to Violet City. So yeah. We can have a break for some lunch."

(Suddenly, Pikachu, Eevee, and the other Pokemon begin to hear something that catches their attention.)

(Their trainers soon notice it.)

Tomo: "Huh? What is it?"

(Tomo asks.)

Meloetta: "Meloetta Meloetta," (There's some music being played.)

(Meloetta answers.)

Tomo: "Music?"

(Tomo says, confused.)

Mew: "Music? What music?"

(Mew wonders.)

(Everyone remains silent and soon begins to hear a faint sound of music.)

Jen: "Meloetta's right,"

(Jen says.)

Misty: "I wonder where the music is coming from,"

(Misty replies.)

(The group soon begins to walk down the path and up a small hill.)

(When they reach the top of the hill, the group of friends are surprised to see an amazing sight.)

(What Mew and her friends see is a large circus tent that is red and blue with some white.)

(with many different people and Pokemon practicing their performances.)

(There are some booths and venues that sell food, stuffed toys, and other souvenirs.)

Mew: "Wow. It's a circus,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "And there are so many different Pokemon from different parts of the world,"

(Brock says.)

(Jen turns to the others.)

Jen: "Can we go to the circus?"

Tomo: "Yeah. Can we?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "Sure. The place looks so much fun,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Great idea,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Let's go see,"

(Brock says.)

(All the Pokemon happily agrees.)

(Soon, everyone heads to the circus to see so many different Human performers and their Pokemon practicing their tricks.)

(One female trainer has an Espeon.)

(She calls out.)

female trainer: "Espeon, use Swift."

(Espeon uses Swift.)

(Then calls out.)

female trainer: "Use Psychic!"

(Espeon then uses Psychic to turn the Swift Stars into different rings.)

(Espeon then jumps through them with grace and ease.)

(There is a male trainer with two Alolan Marowaks.)

(The man is holding two fire sticks while each of his Marowak are gone.)

(All three have their light in fire and spin and twirl them like batons.)

(There is another male trainer playing a flute and has an Arbok and it dances to the music with five Ekans in a circle.)

(There is also a female trainer with two Meditite use their Psychic powers to levitate items in the air.)

(There are also different trainers and Pokemon, like Popplio, Brionne.)

(a male and a female Pyroar with their cubs, two different Mr. Mimes, Kanto and Galarian, and other kinds of Pokemon.)

(At the booths and venues, there are Pokemon helping their trainers cook and serve food.)

(and help make and sell the products and souvenirs to the customers there.)

(Mew and the others are very amazed to see the circus performers and the Pokemon.)

Mew: "Wow. This is amazing,"

(Mew says, amazed.)

Jen: "There are so many different Pokemon too,"

(Jen says.)

Brock: "Yeah. It kind of reminds me of Stella's circus,"

(Brock says.)

Jen: "Only, the place seems to be a lot bigger,"

(Jen says.)

(Unknown to the group, something rolls down and bumps into Jen's leg from behind.)

(Jen turns around and looks down.)

Jen: "Huh? What's that?"

(Soon, something moves and looks up to say.)

Hatenna: "Hatenna."

(The object is actually a small Pokémon with a round pink body and a pair of small feet.)

(Most of its body is covered by a blue wig-like feature with a pink, hat-like protrusion on top.)

(This protrusion is decorated with a white spot and has a blue bulbous growth on its tip.)

(The flaps on the side of its head appear to be able to function like limbs.)

Jen: "Oh hello there, aren't you a cutie,"

(Jen happily says.)

(The little Pokemon happily says.)

Hatenna: "Hatenna."

(Jen then picks up the little Pokemon and says.)

Jen: "Hello. My name is Jen, it's nice to meet you."

(Soon, the others turn to see Jen holding a little Pokemon.)

Tomo: "What have you got there, Jen?"

(Tomo asks.)

Jen: "It's a Pokemon, and it's cute,"

(Jen answers.)

Misty: "I never seen that Pokemon before,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I never seen one like it either,"

(Mew says.)

(She takes out her Pokedex and says.)

Mew: "Let's see what Dexter says."

(Mew points her Pokedex towards the Pokemon and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Hatenna, the Calm Pokemon. A Psychic Type. It senses the feelings of other living creatures. Be careful not to expose it to strong emotions for too long, or it will end up exhausted. This Pokemon Originated in the Galar Region."

Brock: "Oh, so this is a Pokemon from Galar,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "It sure is cute,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "It's adorable,"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, they hear someone calling out.)

???: "Hatenna! Hatenna, where are you?!"

(Hatenna turns and happily calls out.)

Hatenna: "Hat Hatenna."

(The group looked to see a young man, probably in his twenties.)

(He has purple hair, and his eyes are covered by a black mask with white eye holes on it.)

(He is wearing a magenta outfit, with a black vest that has four buttons down the body, black shoes, and wears a white jabot tie.)

(The young man sees Hatenna and says.)

young man: "There you are, I was looking for you."

(Then turns to Mew and the others.)

young man: "I hope she didn't cause any trouble."

Jen: "No. Your cute little friend was no trouble at all,"

(Jen happily says.)

Hatenna: "Hatenna,"

(Hatenna happily says with a nod.)

(The young man picks up Hatenna says.)

young man: "Thank you. We were practicing a performance and we had a little mischief and Hatenna rolled away."

Brock: "I guess it's good we came by when we did,"

(Brock says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "By the way, My name is Mew, and these are my partners, Pikachu and Eevee."

Misty: "I'm Misty, and these are my Pokemon, Togepi and Pichu,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Hello, I'm Brock."

Tomo: "Tomo, and these are Meloetta and Skwovet,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "And I'm Jen, and this is my friend, Amaura,"

(Jen says.)

(All the Pokemon happily say 'Hello' with smiles on their faces.)

Will: "It's nice to meet you, I'm Will, and I'm the Ringmaster of the Pokemon Circus,"

(The young man, Will says.)

Misty: "It's nice to meet you,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "We were hoping to come and see the circus,"

(Mew says.)

Jen: "Yeah. We want to see your circus,"

(Jen says.)

Will: "Well then, I'm happy you all decided to come, there are a lot of different trainers with their Pokemon to perform with everyone, young and old,"

(Will says.)

(Just then, an Exeggutor, Alakazam, and another Pokemon walk over to will.)

(The third Pokemon is a tiny, mostly green avian Pokémon with a nearly spherical body colored in accents of red, yellow, and black.)

(It possesses brightly colored, yellow-and-red wings with thick black stripes.)

(The wings are small and not fully-grown.)

(It has a red crest on the top of its head, and its three-toed feet and three tail feathers are red as well.)

Will: "And these are my assistants, Exeggutor, and Natu. And this one is Alakazam, the star of the show. We have many Pokemon at the circus, but we mostly specialize in Psychic Type Pokemon and Pokemon that can perform Psychic attacks,"

(Will says.)

Misty: "That explains why there are a lot of Psychic Pokemon,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "It's very nice to meet you,"

(Mew says.)

Jen: "Your Natu is cute,"

(Jen says.)

Will: "Thank you,"

(Will says.)

Tomo: "I never seen a Natu before,"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Natu, The Tiny Bird Pokemon, a Psychic and Flying Type. Natu has a highly developed jumping ability. The Pokémon flaps and leaps onto tree branches that are taller than grown-up people to pick at the tree's new shoots. It picks food from cactus plants, deftly avoiding buds and spines. It seems to skip about to move."

Natu: "Natu,"

(Natu replies with glee.)

Will: "Still, I'm glad to see you decide to take your time to visit the circus. I hope that you all have a wonderful time,"

(Will says.)

Mew: "I know we will, Will,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I agree. Your circus looks really fun,"

(Misty says.)

(Tomo, Jen, and the Pokemon nod their heads.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "Yeah. We'll have a great time."

(He then looks at Will.)

Brock: "Hmm…"

Will: "What is it?"

(Will asks.)

Brock: "Oh, sorry if I caught you off guard, but you look very familiar,"

(Brock says.)

Will says, "I wouldn't be surprised if you have recognized me. After all, not only that I'm the Ringmaster of the circus, but I'm also One of the Johto Region's Elite Four, with Psychic Pokemon as his specialties."

(The group gasps in surprise, even the Pokemon are surprised.)

Misty: "You're really one of Johto Region's Elite Four?"

(Misty asks, surprised.)

Mew: "Wow. What are the chances of that,"

(Mew says.)

Will: "Yes. It certainly is an unexpected chance. Also have to assume that this is your first time in the Johto Region,"

(Will says.)

Mew: "That's right. I plan on competing in the Johto League Silver Conference,"

(Mew says.)

Will: "Good to hear. Are you planning on making this your third win?"

(Will asks.)

Mew: "Huh?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(Will smiles and says.)

Will: "Yes. I've heard of you, Mew, along with your Pikachu and Eevee, and your other Pokemon."

Mew: "Oh, I guess you heard about me winning the Pokemon Indigo League and the Orange Island League,"

(Mew sheepishly says.)

Will: "That's right. And I heard of your friends as well,"

(Will says.)

(Jen smiles and says.)

Jen: "Yeah. I guess that means you're famous."

Mew: "I'm not sure about that,"

(Mew sheepishly says.)

Hatenna: "Hatenna,"

(Hatenna says and jumps into Jen's arms.)

(Jen giggles and says.)

Jen: "Hello again, Hatenna."

(Will chuckles.)

Will: "I think Hatenna really likes you."

Jen: "You like me, Hatenna?"

(Jen asks.)

Hatenna: "Hatenna,"

(Hatenna happily replies.)

(Misty smiles and says.)

Misty: "That's sweet, Hatenna really likes you, Jen."

Jen: "I like Hatenna too. She's really cute and sweet,"

(Jen says.)

(Mew walks to Alakazam and says.)

Mew: "Alakazam looks pretty strong and seems very skillful with Psychic attacks."

Will: "I'm glad you noticed Alakazam is the star of the show and has real skillful Psychic abilities,"

(Will says.)

Tomo: "That's cool,"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Alakazam sure looks really strong,"

(Misty says.)

Alakazam: "Alakazam,"

(Alakazam replies, happy for the compliment.)

(Then Will says.)

Will: "The show is actually going to start soon. Why don't you all come inside the big top as my guests and you'll have a front row seat."

Mew: "Really? Are you sure?"

(Mew asks.)

Will: "I'm sure. You all are welcome to join us in the big top to see the show,"

(Will says.)

Brock: "Thanks Will,"

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Thank you,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "We can't wait to see your show,"

(Jen says.)

(Unknown to the group, spying on them from a distance, and hidden in the bushes.)

(Team Rocket: Jessie, James, and Meowth stick their heads out to see the circus.)

James: "Ooh, there's a circus,"

(James says.)

Jessie: "And when there's a circus, there are Pokemon waiting for us to take,"

(Jessie says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I sure would like to have some popcorn."

Jessie: "How can you think of your stomach when there are Pokemon here for us to steal and give to the boss,"

(Jessie angrily scolds.)

(James looks around and soon, notices, Mew and her friends, and Will and the Pokemon.)

(James points out.)

James: "Look, it's the twerps!"

(Jessie and Meowth turn their heads and are surprised.)

(to see Mew and the others along with Will and some of his Pokemon.)

(Jessie notices Hatenna in Jessie's arms.)

Jessie: "Aww, look at that cute little thing."

James: "I've never seen that Pokemon before,"

(James says.)

Jessie: "It must be a very rare Pokemon,"

(Jessie says.)

(Meowth grins and says.)

Meowth: "And it's the perfect Pokemon to bring to the boss. Including that Alakazam."

James: "You're right, that Alakazam looks like a power packed Pokemon, bet its Psychic attacks are strong too,"

(James says.)

Jessie: "Well then, it's settled, we'll be taking the cute Pokemon and that Alakazam, and the rest of whatever Pokemon we can find,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "And we'll swipe Pikachu and Eevee to boot,"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Team Rocket evilly snicker with malicious grins on their faces.)

(Later in the big top, many different people are sitting at the bleachers with some food and drinks, and are sitting close with friends, family, and some who are sitting with their Pokemon.)

(On the first row are Mew and the others, and are just as excited to see the show.)

(Misty gives Togepi and Pichu a piece of cotton candy.)

Misty: "Here you go."

(Togpei and Pichu take their portion of cotton candy and eat it.)

(The Pokemon and their trainer are also enjoying some food such as popcorn, cotton candy, and some berries.)

Mew: "I'm really excited to see Will's show,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Me too. I have to wonder what kind of performance Will has,"

(Misty says.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "Well, since he's in the Elite Four that specializes with Psychic Types. I have to guess he'll have plenty of Pokemon that use Psychic abilities."

Jen: "I like to see what Hatenna will do for her performance,"

(Jen says.)

Mew: "And I sure love to see what Alakazam can do,"

(Mew says.)

(Just then, the lights turn off and soon the spot light appears in the center ring.)

Tomo: "It's starting,"

(Tomo says with excitement.)

(Everyone remains quiet as the center ring lights up and sees will along with his Natu sitting on his shoulder.)

(Will announces.)

Will: "Welcome one and all to our Pokemon Circus. We are all happy for you to attend and watch us and our fellow Pokemon perform for you. Allow me to introduce you to our performers."

(Soon, all the human performers and their Pokemon arrive as they walk into the three separate rings from the center ring.)

(There are many different Psychic Pokemon and other kinds of Pokemon.)

(There are Pokemon like Abra and Kadabra.)

(along with Eggexcute and Eggecutor, along with other kinds of Pokemon to perform the tricks.)

(The female trainer from before has called out the moves to her Espeon.)

(Espeon uses Swift and uses Psychic to make multiple rings of the Swift attack.)

(Then Espeon jumps through the hoops and everyone is awed.)

(Then, Umbreon uses its Psychic abilities to create a celestial space.)

(while Sylveon uses its ribbon-like feelers to speak across the circus.)

(Then, a few Espurrs, Hatennas, Abras, and Meditites use their ability to add round balls and cause them to glow.)

(Then, one Abra uses Psybeam as three Hatenna uses their Psychic attacks to split the Psybeams and turn them into glowing round orbs.)

(And then, Kadabra, who is at Center Ring, uses its Psychic abilities to levitate the orbs and the Pokemon in the air.)

(The audience are awed to see the performance taking place.)

(Even, Mew and her friends are amazed to see the performances from the Pokemon.)

(And then, a few fire Pokemon, like Flareon and Charmeleon breath their fire attack above and create what seems like a supernova.)

(And soon enough, Alakazam uses his psychic attack and causes the giant fireball to let out an explosion.)

(and let out red sparkles as the celestial space disappears and the circus reverts back to normal.)

(Once the performance is done.)

(everyone, including the Pokemon who are part of the performance bow and the audience clap and cheer with excitement.)

Will: "And now, for our next performance, we will like to have two volunteers from the audience!"

(Will announces.)

(Many of the audience, including Mew and her friends are excited and raise their hand to be the volunteers.)

(The spotlight circles around the audience and soon points to Mew and Jen.)

Will: "And we have our two volunteers, come on to center stage,"

(Will announces.)

(Excited, Jen says.)

Jen: "Come on Mew, let's go."

Mew: "Okay,"

(Mew says.)

(Mew and Jen leave from their seats and arrive at the center ring with Will.)

Will: "And now we have these two young ladies to be our volunteers. Alakazaa, Hatenna, Exeggutor, and Natu will assist me with this performance. We will first…"

(Will says.)

(Suddenly, the lights turn off, catching everyone by surprise and being confused.)

Maw and Jen: "Huh?"

(Maw and Jen reply.)

(At their seats, Misty, Brock, Tomo, and the Pokemon are deeply confused.)

Misty: "What's going on?"

(Misty asks.)

Tomo: "What happened to the lights?"

(Tomo asks.)

(The audience is just as confused as the lights suddenly turn off out of nowhere.)

(Suddenly, everyone begins to hear a familiar laughter.)

(Just then, the spot light appears on the tightrope.)

(And on the tightrope, wearing circus outfits and holding parasols are Jessie and James.)

Jen: "Oh no!"

(Jen worriedly says.)

Mew: "It's them again."

(Mew says.)

Will: "You know these two? Who are they?"

(Will asks.)

(And with that, Team Rocket performs the motto.)

Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

James: And make it double!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie: Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!

(Just then, Meowth appears from the basket of their Meowth balloon.)

Meowth: Meowth! That's right!

Mew and Jen call: "Team Rocket!"

(Mew and Jen call out.)

Will: "Team Rocket?"

(Will says, confused.)

(Mew turns to Will.)

Mew: "Team Rocket is a group of bad people who steal other people's Pokemon and do a lot of bad stuff."

Jen: "And they always follow us to take our Pokemon too,"

(Jen adds.)

Jessie: "Hey! Just because we try to steal that Pikachu and Eevee, doesn't mean that we follow you all the time!"

(Jessie calls out.)

James: "Yeah! Sometimes you twerps somehow end up showing up and ruining our schemes!"

(James calls out.)

(Meowth slumps and says.)

Meowth: "And they managed to send us blasting off as well."

(He then evilly grinds and holds out his remote.)

Meowth: "But not this time you little twerps!"

Jessie: "That's right. We got our Psychic, our own special way of capturing these Psychic types along with your Pikachu and Eevee!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Hope you're ready to have a ball!"

(James says.)

(Meowth then presses the button and shouts.)

Meowth: "Balls away!"

(Soon, the hatch from the balloon opens and multiple balls fall to the ground and begin to bounce around the circus grounds.)

(Soon, one of the balls heads to Espeon.)

(Suddenly, the ball groups a little larger and opens it.)

(Before Espeon can react, the ball traps Espeon inside.)

female trainer: "Espeon!"

(The female trainer cries out.)

(And soon, the balls end up capturing the two Alolan Marowak.)

male trainer: "Marowak!"

(The male trainer cries out.)

(Misty, Borck, and Tomo stand from their seats.)

Misty: "They're capturing the Pokemon!"

(Misty cries out.)

Brock: "We gotta stop them!"

(Brock calls out.)

(Soon, one of them is flying towards Hatenna.)

(Jen gasps and cries out.)

Jen: "Watch out, Hatenna!"

(Jen rushes to Hatenna and is able to hold her in her arms, but the ball ends up trapping Jen and Hatenna inside.)

Mew: "Jen!" Hatenna!"

(Mew cries out.)

(Soon, one of the large balls bounces towards Alakazam.)

(Mew quickly stands in front of him and says.)

Mew: "Oh no you don't!"

(Mew then kicks the ball into the air and strikes against Team Rocket's balloon basket.

(Meowth yelps in fright and accidentally drops the remote.)

(Luckily for Meowth, it simply lands in the basket.)

Meowth: "That was too close,"

(Meowth says in relief.)

(Mew then calls out.)

Mew: "We're not going to let you steal these Pokemon."

Will: "That's right. If you're trying to mess with this circus, then you're messing with me as well,"

(Will says.)

(Then calls out.)

Will: "Exeggutor, use Psychic for free everyone who has been trapped!"

(Exeggutor then uses Psychic to free all the Pokemon who have been trapped in the ball capsules, including Jen and Hatenna.)

(Seeing their plan hasn't worked, Jessie angrily says.)

Jessie: "And we worked hard on that idea."

James: "Then we'll go straight to a plain bed,"

(James says.)

(Jessie, James and Meowth jump off the balloon and land on the ground.)

Jessie: "We'll do this the old fashioned way!"

(Jessie says.)

(Meowth then holds out a thick ribbon.)

Meowth: "And these ribbons will do just the job, but not for a circus. It's capturing time."

(Jessie, James, and Meowth use the ribbons to aim for the Pokemon.)

(Each of the ribbon Team Rocket has Alakazam, Hatenna, and Natu tied.)

Jessie: "We'll take these Pokemon,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "They're coming with us!"

(James says.)

(But then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Eevee, use Swift!"

(Eevee jumps up and performs the Swift Attack.)

(The Swift Attack breaks the ribbons, freeing the three Pokemon.)

(Then Jen calls out.)

Jen: "Amaura, use Ice Beam!"

(Amaura jumps out from her seat and performs Ice Beam, turning Jessie, James, and Meowth into an icicle.)

Will: "Exeggutor! Natu! Use Psychic!"

(Will calls out.

(Both Pokemon then use their attack to lift Team Rocket in the air and crash them into the balloon's basket.)

(Then Will says.)

Will: "Mew, Jen, why not you two along with Alakazam and Hatenna take it from here."

(Mew turns to Alakazam, and Jen does the same with Hatenna.)

(All four soon reply with a nod.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "Alright Alakazam."

Jen: "Hatenna!"

(Jen says.)

(With that, they both call out.)

Mew and Jen: "Use Psybeam!"

(Alakazam and Hatenna both perform the Psybeam attack and it makes a large hole in Team Rocket's balloon.)

(That makes Team rocket's balloon fly out of the circus tent with them inside.)

(The balloon flies across the sky.)

(Still frozen, Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "We're blasting off again!"

(And soon enough, Team Rocket is gone.)

(Seeing a performance like that, everyone claps and cheers with excitement.)

(Mew, Jen, Will, and the Pokemon watch as the audience applauds for a great performance.)

(Pikachu, Eevee, and Amaura run to their trainers and are relieved to see they're okay.)

(Amaura snuggles Jen and allows Hatenna to jump on her head with glee.)

(Hatenna also leans to Jen with glee.)

(Pikachu and Eevee jump on Mew's shoulder and she turns to Alakazam with a smile.)

(Will look to see Mew and Alakazam seem good together.)

(The same with Jen and Hatenna.)

(Later, after the performance, Mew and her friends are able to depart to continue on their journey.)

Misty: "Thank you for showing us a great performance,"

(Misty says.)

Will: "You're welcome, and thank you for saving our Pokemon from Team Rocket,"

(Will says.)

Mew: "Well, you helped us as well, including Alakazam and Hatenna,"

(Mew says.)

Hatenna: "Hat Hatenna,"

(Hatenna happily replies.)

(And once again, jumps into Jen's arms and also tries to give Jen a hug.)

(Jen giggles and gives Hatenna a hug too.)

Jen: "I'll miss you too, Hatenna."

Will: "Actually, you don't have to miss you,"

(Will says.)

(Mew and the others become confused.)

Misty: "What do you mean, Will?"

(Misty asks.)

Will: "Well, you see, I saw how well Mew and Alakazam worked together and how Jen and Hatenna worked together. And see how we were able to save them. So Hatenna and Alakazam decide that they want to go with you,"

(Will explains.)

(Jen and Mew are surprised.)

(Mew turns to Alakazam and asks.)

Mew: "Really?"

Alakazam: "Kazam," (I sure do.)

(Alakazam says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Well, if it's what you want, welcome aboard to our group, Alakazam."

Alakazam: "Alakazam," (I'm happy to join.)

(Mew and Jen bring out their Pokeballs and tap Alakazam and Hatenna.)

(With that, they're both pulled in the Pokeball and with a shake and a click, Alakazam and Hatenna are officially part of the group.)

Tomo: "Great. Now you and Jen got new buddies,"

(Tomo happily says.)

(Then Will says.)

Will: "By the way Mew, I have something to give you."

(He reaches into his pocket and says.)

Will: "I think it will come in handy for you and Alakazam."

(Will takes an object from his pocket and presents it to Mew.)

(Mew is surprised to see that in his hand is an Alakazite.)

Mew: "An Alakazite,"

(Mew says, amazed.)

Will: "Yes. It will help Alakazam mega evolve. I thought that it would come in handy for you and Alakazam to use,"

(Will says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Thanks Will. I promise to take good care of Alakazam, and use the Mega Stone."

(Mew then takes the Mega Stone and places it in her bag for safe keeping.)

(Soon enough, Mew and her friends say their farewell to Will and the performers from the circus.)

(Now that Mew has Alakazam and Jen has Hatenna by their side, their group has gotten a little bigger, and Mew has a new Mega Stone.)

(And so, Mew and her friends continue their journey to Violet City.)
