Chapter 9: The Pokemon Re-Volt

(After the victory over the Mikan gym leader.)

(Mew and the others continue to sail on the ocean blue with Lapras as they relax.)

(Of course, Mew is also planning on finding her next Orange League Challenge.)

(While riding, Mew and Tracey chat as everyone relaxes.)

Tracey: "Really? So you and Tomo can understand Pokemon and were raised by them?"

(Tracey asks, surprised.)

Mew: "Um yeah. Tomo lived in the Pokemon Preservation area with a herd of Kangaskhan before he and his mom traveled with us. As for me, I was raised by Zeraora in the forest just outside of Pallet Town."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "I see. So that's why you call that Zeraora papa during the finals, he's the Pokemon that raised you."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Right,"

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "I sure like to meet him."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "I'm sure you will."

(Mew says.)

(Tomo turns to Mew and asks.)

Tomo: "Hey guys, when are we gonna eat?"

(Tracey looks through his binoculars.)

Tracey: "Well, there's Mandarin Island, straight ahead."

Mew: "Mandarin Island?"

(Mew asks.)

(Mew then brings out her own binoculars from her bag.)

Mew: "Let me see!"

(Mew observes it to see the island up ahead, but mainly sees tall buildings.)

Mew: "It doesn't look like an island."

(Misty takes the binoculars and looks through it.)

(Seeing the view, Misty says.)

Misty: "It looks more like a bunch of giant buildings floating in the ocean."

Tracey: "Mandarin Island's a huge city with skyscrapers and theaters and all kinds of neat stuff."

(Tracey says.)

(Misty sighs.)

Misty: "Well it sure doesn't seem like a tropical island."

Mew: "I suppose you're right Misty, but it might still be fun to go to and we can get something to eat."

(Mew says.)

(The Pokemon happily agrees.)

(Meanwhile, in a dark room with multiple blue screens.)

(two familiar faces are looking at the screens which are really monitors.)

(A familiar female voice says.)

???: "Well, look who's come to visit."

(They look at one of the monitors to see Mew and her friends riding to Lapras on to town.)

???: "It's that kid with the Pikachu and Eevee."

(The familiar man says.)

???: "I think it's payback time."

(The familiar woman says.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends have reached the docks of Mandarin Island.)

Mew: "Return, Lapras. You deserve a rest."

(Mew says, and calls Lapras to his Pokeball.)

(As they are able to head to town, they soon hear the sound of trouble.)

(Someone cries out.)

Trainer: "Voltorb! Don't come any closer!"

(They turn their heads to see two trainers walking back from their own Pokemon.)

(Four Magnemite, a Grimer, and a Voltorb.)

(Another voice calls out.)

Magnemite trainer: "Magnemite, just get back in your Pokeball."

(Soon, the Magnemite attacks the trainers.)

Tracey: "Looks like trouble."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Let's go and find out,"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika." (Gotcha.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee hurry to the trainers to see if they can help.)

(Suddenly, something within Pikachu and Eevee's minds snaps and they both stop in their places.)

(Mew stops to sense something off.)

Mew: "Huh? What was…"

(Mew wonders.)

(Then turn to Pikachu and Eevee.)

Mew: "Hey guys, did you feel that?"

(But notice the two aren't saying anything.)

Mew: "Uh guys?"

Tomo: "What's the matter?"

(Tomo adds.)

Misty: "Why are you stopping?"

(Misty adds.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu and Eevee turn their heads and show foul moods on their faces.)

Mew: "Uh guys?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(Suddenly, Togepi and Pichu forcefully leap out of Misty's arms.)

(Meloetta and Skwovet rush over and they all turn to their trainers with the same foul expression.)

(Misty grows worried.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

Tomo: "Meloetta! Skwovet!"

(Tomo says, shocked.)

Mew: "Is there something wrong?"

(Mew asks.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu lets out an electric attack.)

(pushing everyone back and they fall on the dock.)

(Mew quickly gets up.)

Mew: "Pikachu!"

(Mew suddenly feels a strange presence again.)

(Mew turns to see Pikachu, Eevee, and the other Pokemon turning away.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew cries out.)

(But before she can reach them, the four Magnemite circle around Mew.)

Mew: "What's going…"

(Mew asks, but the Magnemite shocks her.)

(The three trainers exclaim.)

three trainers: "What's happening?!"

(Mew struggles to break free from the shock attack and continues to call out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(But the two Pokemon ignore her.)

(Mew continues to struggle and call out.)

Mew: "Pi, ka, chu! Eee,vee!"

(Just then, Voltorb rolls in front of Mew and uses Explosion.)

(pushing Mew back and lands on the ground.)

(The others hurry over and help her up.)

Tracey: "Mew, we better get out of here!"

(Tracey says.)

(Mew struggles and says.)

Mew: "They're, gone."

(Indeed, all the Pokemon have disappeared during the Explosion attack.)

(One of the trainers says.)

Voltorb trainer: "My Voltorb is gone! Voltorb!"

(Another calls out.)

Magnemite trainer: "Magnemite! Where are you?! Come back!"

(Mew stands up and calls out.)

Mew: "Eevee! Pikachu!"

(Soon, they hear a police siren, and on the motorbike is Officer Jenny.)

(Arriving on the scene, Jenny asks.)

Officer Jenny: "What just happened?!"

Mew: "Officer Jenny,"

(Mew says as she and the others rush over.)

Misty: "Togepi and Pichu were acting really weird and then there was an explosion and now they're gone."

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Same with Meloetta and Skwovet!"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "So are Pikachu and Eevee! You gotta find them, Officer Jenny!"

(Mew panics.)

Officer Jenny: "Just settle down!"

(Jenny replies.)

(Then Tracey says.)

Tracey: "Along with our Pokemon, some other Pokémon disappeared, too!"

Officer Jenny: "In the past few days, we've had reports of Pokemon that have stopped obeying their trainers. And in some cases, even attack them, and then vanish!"

(Jenny explains.)

(Suddenly, a Gastly appears, startling the four trainers.)

(Jenny pushes Gastly away from her view and says.)

Officer Jenny: "Gastly, we're discussing official police business here."

(Gastly just laughs in reply.)

(Soon, Mew and the others arrive at the Police Station and are on the phone with Professor Oak.)

Professor Oak: "This problem will take some thinking."

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "I know what you mean. I really want to find Pikachu and Eevee, but I'm baffled on what happened."

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "Yes, but we need to find out where to look for them, and to find out what cause this strange behavior to begin with."

(Professor Oak says.)

(Mew thinks a bit and says.)

Mew: "I don't know if it helps, but I sensed some strange energy in the air before Pikachu and Eevee got into a foul mood. And they were fine before we got on the island. If I have to guess, I saw they didn't become like that naturally."

Professor Oak: "I'm afraid you're right Mew. it sounds to me like some outside force is controlling their behavior."

(Professor Oak says.)

(Jenny asks.)

Officer Jenny: "Do you think maybe it could be some kind of psychic attack, Professor?"

Professor Oak: "A psychic attack?"

(Professor Oak asks.)

(Just then, Gastly appears in front of the monitor.)

Professor Oak: "Gastly?"

(Professor Oak says, surprised.)

(Jenny struggles to push Gastly out of the way.)

Officer Jenny: "Since Gastly hasn't been affected like the other Pokemon, and because ghost Pokemon are strong against psychic types, I think a psychic attack is behind all of this. That's why I'm going to use this Gastly here to start searching for the missing Pokemon, Professor Oak."

(Finally able to lift it over her head.)

Professor Oak: "I see. Good idea,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "That would explain the strange presence I've sensed."

Officer Jenny: "We're gonna do everything we can to solve this mystery and return the Pokemon to their rightful trainers."

(Jenny says.)

Professor Oak: "I'm sure you will,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "We're going to help, too, Professor!"

Professor Oak: "Good luck, everyone,"

(Professor Oak says, and the call ends.)

Tracey: "I just can't believe that a Pokemon's doing this all by itself."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "I think you're right. Someone is obviously using a Psychic Pokemon for their dirty work."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "But who? Who would do this to the Pokemon?"

(Tomo asks.)

Tracey: "That's the million dollar questions."

(Tracey says.)

(Mew sadly sighs.)

Mew: "I've never seen Pikachu and Eevee act like this before."

Tomo: "Yeah. Meloetta and Skwovet were never like this."

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "The way Togepi and Pichu looked at me was just horrible. Something terrible must be wrong with them. We've just got to find them. We've just got to."

(Soon Misty breaks down in tears.)

Mew: "Officer Jenny, if we can find the Pokemon that's using its psychic attack, I just know we'll find the other Pokemon!"

(Mew says.)

(Then brings out her Pokeballs.)

Mew: "I know who can help us!"

(Then calls out.)

Mew: "Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, I choose you!"

(With that, the three Ghost Pokemon come out of their Pokeballs.)

Tracey: "Wow. You got Ghost Pokemon too."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Yeah. They are crazy with pranks, but they're willing to help us."

(Mew says.)

(Mew turns to the three.)

Mew: "Hey guys, we can really use your help. Some of our friends, including Pikachu and Eevee, are being controlled by a Psychic Pokemon, can you help us search for them?"

(The three happily nod their heads in reply.)

Officer Jenny: "Now then, let's head to the streets and begin searching."

(Jenny says.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket arrives at the city themselves.)

Jessie: "There it is. The Big Orange."

(Jessie says.)

James: "Can we go on a guided tour, Jess?"

(James asks.)

(But Meowth says.)

Meowth: "We ain't here to see the sights!"

(And scratches them both on the face.)

Meowth: "We're here to catch that Pikachu, so let's hurry up and catch it!"

(Jessie becomes furious.)

Jessie: "I'll teach you!"

(Meowth is about to fight back.)

(but suddenly, his mind snaps and soon becomes dazed like the other Pokemon.)

(Instead of attacking, Meowth runs off, puzzling Team Rocket. Soon, they chase after him.)

(James calls out.)

James: "Meowth, wait for us!

Jessie: "Get back here, Meowth!"

(Jessie shouts.)

(Meowth continues to run as James and Jessie give chase.)

(Soon, they arrive towards a building with a satellite dish, halfway across town.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Meowth, what are you doing?"

James: "Not so fast, Meowth!"

(James shouts.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "Stop!"

(Then James shouts.)

James: "Wait up!"

(Soon, Meowth enters a hole in the wall and disappears, making James and Jessie stop.)

(James looks at the building and asks.)

James: "Hey, Jess. Look there! What is this place?"

(In the building, Meowth slides to the end of the tunnel.)

(and soon meets the two familiars who are the masterminds behind the Pokemon's change of behavior.)

(Meowth stands and says.)

Meowth: "I am here to serve you."

???: "A talking Meowth?"

(The woman questions.)

(Then the man questions.)

???: "Could it be?"

(Revealing to be Cassidy and Butch from Team Rocket.)

(Soon, Jessie and James come tumbling down the same tunnel Meowth has, and hit the ground.)

James: "That was, unpleasant."

(James says, in pain.)

(Cassidy and Butch comments.)

Cassidy and Butch: "Our old friends."

(Hearing the voices, Jessie and James are startled to see them.)

Jessie: "Cassidy?"

(Jessie comments.)

James: "And Botch!"

(James adds.)

(Hearing that comment, Butch angrily says.)

Butch: "Ugh! The name is Butch!"

(Jessie stands up with James and says.)

James: "There's only room for one Team Rocket!"

Butch: "Then prepare for trouble!"

(Butch says.)

Jessie: "You're the ones who should prepare for trouble!"

(Jessie angrily says.)

Cassidy: "You two don't even know how to say the motto!"

(Cassidy says angrily.)

(Then James says.)

James: "You just made your trouble double!"

Butch: "I'm the one who has the next line!"

(Butch angrily shouts.)

(And soon, the two Team Rocket groups are arguing through the motto.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

Cassidy: To infect the world with devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Butch: To blight all peoples in every nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

Cassidy: The GOODNESS of truth and love!

James: Reach to the stars above!

Butch: WRATH to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie!

Cassidy: Cassidy!

James: James!

Butch: Butch!

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

Cassidy: Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!

Butch: Surrender to us now, or you'll surely lose the fight!

(Soon, Jessie and James feel winded for fighting motto with motto.)

(Then Jessie glares at Cassidy.)

Jessie: "We say it just as good as you do!"

Cassidy: "So Jessie, rumor has it that you're being kicked off Team Rocket,"

(Cassidy says.)

(That leaves James and Jessie stunned and shocked.)

(Then Cassidy clarifies.)

Cassidy: "It's just a rumor, of course. It's not official yet."

(James rushes to Cassidy and asks in tears.)

James: "Did you hear rumors about me?"

(Then Jessie pulls him away.)

Jessie: "I'll bet she's the one who started the rumor. I thought you two were still in jail.

Butch: "The boss came down to the station himself and bailed us out."

(Butch says.)

(James is in shock.)

James: "He paid? In person?"

Jessie: "The boss never does anything like that for us."

(Jessie says, shocked.)

Cassidy: "We're on the same team, but in different leagues."

(Cassidy says.)

(Then Meowth runs to Cassidy and rubs his face against her leg.)

(leaving Jessie and James in shock.)

(James cries out.)

James: "Meowth! Don't forget who your real friends are!"

Butch: "Meowth isn't the only new friend we made here."

(Butch says, and points to the right.)

Butch: "See?"

(Soon the spotlight goes on, revealing the several Pokemon.)

(including Mew and the others' friends.)

(Among them are: a Primeape, an Electabuzz, a Jolteon, the Voltorb from earlier.)

(a Starmie, a Poliwag, a Vaporeon, a Wartortle, the Magnemite from earlier.)

(a Vulpix, the Grimer from earlier.)

(a Mankey, a Flareon, a Magikarp, and a Kingler.)

(Cassidy chuckles.)

Cassidy: "You wouldn't know how to catch that many Pokemon in a million years."

Jessie: "But I know how we can catch that many Pokemon right now. We'll steal em from them!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Right!"

(James says.)

(Jessie calls out her Pokemon.)

Jessie: "Go, Arbok! Go, Lickitung!"

(James does the same.)

James: "Go, Weezing! Go, Victreebel!"

(All the Pokemon come out.)

(and Victreebel chomps on James' head again.)

(James muffles in a panic.)

James: "Don't attack me! Attack them!"

(Butch chuckles and snaps his fingers.)

(lowering a Drowzee attached to a machine down to the ground.)

(puzzling Jessie and James.)

Jessie: "A Drowzee?"

(Jessie says, confused.)

(Then Butch commands.)

Butch: "Do it, Drowzee!"

(Drowzee commences and begins to perform it's attack.)

(much to Jessie and James confusion, unknown that their Pokemon are starting to fall under its power.)

James: "What's it doing?"

(James asks.)

Jessie: "Who cares what it's doing?"

(Jessie angrily says.)

(Then turns to the Pokemon.)

Jessie: "Go and get those two out of our way so we can steal the Pokémon!

(However, none of the Pokemon are responding.)

James: "They're not moving a muscle!"

(James says, shocked.)

(Jessie shouts at them.)

Jessie: "Do what I tell you!"

(All four of them begin to attack, but they're the targets.)

(Then Cassidy says.)

Cassidy: "Using brute strength to steal Pokemon is so unimaginative. We've created a way that's much more creative and effective."

Butch: "This device amplifies Drowzee's hypnotic rays and broadcasts it through a parabolic antennae on the roof."

(Butch adds.)

Jessie: "Drowzee's controlling the Pokemon."

(Jessie concludes.)

Butch: "So now that both of you know our little secret, I think it's time to say goodbye!"

(Butch says.)

(Cassidy commands.)

Cassidy: "Arbok, Lickitung.."

(Butch does the same.)

Butch: "Weezing, Victreebel.."

Cassidy: "You too, Meowth.."

(Cassidy adds.)

(Then they both say.)

Cassidy and Butch: "Get rid of them!"

(With that, all five of the Pokemon charge to attack the terrified Team Rocket.)

(Later on, Jessie soon wakes up.)

(to find herself surrounded by Jenny, Mew, Tomo, the two Gastly, Gengar, and Haunter.)

(Jessie quickly puts up in a panic.)

Jessie: "It's a nightmare!

Tomo: "Sorry, it's real!"

(Tomo says with a chuckle.)

(Meanwhile, Misty is treating James' arm, and feels the pain from it.)

(James screams.)

James: "Don't be so rough, will you?"

(But Misty shoots a glare at him.)

James: "Never mind, I'll be quiet,"

(James says, defeated.)

(Misty touches James arms.)

Misty: "Okay, you're all set."

(making James feel the pain.)

Tracey: "I think, that hurt."

(Tracey says.)

(Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "How did James and I get here?"

Mew: "The two Gastly found you both lying in the street and you were unconscious."

(Mew says.)

(Then Jenny says.)

Officer Jenny: "I wonder if there's a connection between the Pokemon acting strange and disappearing and these two showing up."

Mew: "What happened to guys and what happened to Meowth?"

(Mew asks.)

(James sadly admits.)

James: "Meowth is gone. And they've taken all of our other Pokemon, too!"

Tomo: "Who's they?"

(Tomo asks.)

Tracey: "You mean, your Pokemon were taken, too?"

(Tracey adds.)

(Jessie breaks down in tears.)

Jessie: "What's going to happen to them?"

(Mew turns to the others.)

Mew: "I think they're telling the truth."

(Mew and the others can tell that Team Rocket are devastated that their Pokemon has been taken from them.)

(Then Jenny asks.)

Officer Jenny: "Who took them? Just tell me."

(Jessie stands up and says.)

Jessie: "Helping the police would blemish my perfect criminal record. James, let's go."

James: "Right,"

(James replies.)

Jessie: "Thanks for the help."

(Jessie says.)

(Then the two start to walk out.)

Misty: "How can you walk away?! You're even lower than I thought you were!"

(Misty asks, shocked.)

Tracey: "If you know something, please, tell us."

(Tracey says.)

(Jenny calls out to them.)

Officer Jenny: "Wait! I know you're upset about losing your Pokemon, and that's just the way all the other trainers feel about losing theirs!"

(Mew rushes in front of Team Rocket.)

Mew: "Believe me, me and the others know what it's like. Something bad has happened to Pikachu and Eevee, and all the other Pokemon who were lived by their trainers. And you're not going to leave until you tell us what you know! "

(Soon, Mew begins to tear up as well.)

(Jessie turns to James.)

Jessie: "What do you think?"

James: "It couldn't hurt to help them this once."

(James answers.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "But only this once."

Mew: "I knew you guys would come through!"

(Mew happily says.)

(With that, they decide to set a plan into motion.)

(Team Rocket soon lead the group to the location where Butch and Cassidy are at.)

(Soon, the camera spots Jessie and James who are giving a friendly greeting.)

(Cassidy and Butch notice them.)

Butch: "I can't believe they're back!"

(Butch says, surprised.)

(Jessie happily says.)

Jessie: "Hello there!"

James: "We've brought a little peace offering!"

(James says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "We've turned over a new leaf and we want to help you and fellow Team Rocket members should."

James: "And to prove there're no hard feelings, we brought you something that might come in handy."

(James says.)

(Then pulls the blanket to reveal that there are actual Pokeballs in the cart.)

Butch: "What do you think?"

(Butch asks.)

Cassidy: "I think we could use the Pokeballs."

(Cassidy says.)

(With that, the doors open allowing Jessie and James to enter the room.)

(to greet the masterminds of the Pokemon revolt.)

Cassidy: "So what brought about this sudden change of heart?"

(Cassidy asks.)

Jessie: "We decided we'd like to be friends."

(Jessie happily says.)

(James holds a white flag and says.)

James: "Let's call a truce so we can all be one, big, happy Team Rocket."

Cassidy: "This isn't like you two."

(Cassidy says, looking suspicious.)

Jessie: "Well, maybe that's because there are more than just the two of us, now!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "That's right!"

(James says.)

(With that, Jessie and James push the cart towards them.)

(Cassidy and Butch are surprised to see the cart rolling towards them.)

(With that, the gang song along with Officer Jenny jump out of the cart.)

(Then they all land on the ground.)

(Jenny points her finger at them and says.)

Officer Jenny: "You're under arrest, you Pokemon thieves!"

Mew: "Give me back my Pikachu and Eevee!"

(Mew shouts.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Yeah! Give me back my Togepi and Pichu!"

Tomo: "And my Meloetta and Skwovet!"

(Tomo adds.)

Tracey: "It's all over, guys!"

(Tracey says.)

(Suddenly, Mew, Misty and Tomo are surprised to see who they are.)

Misty: "It's Cassidy!"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "And Butch!"

(Mew says, shocked.)

(Tracey turns to the girls.)

Tracey: "You know them?"

Mew: "They're a different group of Team Rocket we dealt with before."

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Butch.)

Mew: "Alright, hand over the Pokemon or things are going to get rough."

Butch: "Well, let's see if the Pokemon agree with that, shall we?"

(Butch says.)

(With that, Cassidy and Butch move out of the way.)

(and the lights come on to reveal the Pokemon.)

(Mew, Tomo, and Misty's friends are among them.)

(Mew says, shocked.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(Misty says, shocked.)

Tomo: "Meloetta! Skwovet!"

(Tomo says, stunned.)

(Soon Tracey notices another.)

Tracey: "Who's that Pokemon?"

(Mew sees it and says.)

Mew: "It's a Drowzee."

(Mew then brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Drowzee, the Hypnosis Pokémon. A Psychic Type. It is said to feed on the dreams of its opponents. It is also known for its powerful Psychic attack.

Mew: "I thought that feeling was familiar. Cassidy and Butch have been using Drowzee to control the Pokemon."

(Butch says to Jessie and James.)

Butch: "I guess you couldn't cut it as criminals, so you're working with the law."

Jessie: "That's what we wanted you to think! We're only using her because she puts up a good looking front."

(Jessie says.)

(Officer Jenny nearly stumbles in disbelief.)

(Mew says to the villains.)

Mew: "You can't treat our Pokemon like this! They're our friends!"

(Just then, Cassidy commands.)

Cassidy: "Drowzee, get ready to command his friends to attack!"

(With that, Drowzee then uses its Psychic powers.)

(to make the Pokemon eyes glow red and prepare to attack.)

(Jenny calls out.)

Officer Jenny: "Go, Gastly!"

Mew: "Gengar! Haunter! Gastly!"

(Mew calls out.)

(With that, the three friends appear.)

(Cassidy then commands.)

Cassidy: "Do it, Drowzee!"

(Drowzee then begins to use it's Psychic Attack.)

(on the four ghost Pokemon to control them, but that one back fires.)

Butch: "Oh no!"

(Butch says, shocked.)

(Jenny calls out.)

Officer Jenny: "Use your Psywave!"

(Gastly then performs the attack.)

(Then Cassidy commands.)

Cassidy: "Psychic power!

(Drowzee manages to block the attack much to Jenny's shock.)

(Then Cassidy commands.)

Cassidy: "Have them attack!"

(With that, Drowzee sends in the Pokemon to attack.)

Tracey: "Wow! I never knew Drowzee could use its psychic powers to do that!"

(Tracey says, surprised.)

Misty: "They're ganging up and aiming their attacks!"

(Misty panics.)

(With that, all of the Pokemon begin to fire their attacks at once.)

(and all together, turned into a massive beam of elements.)

(head right towards Mew and the others.)

(Just then, Genger, Haunter, and Gastly stand in front of Mew and the others.)

(Together, they are able to perform a powerful protect attack and repel the attack with full force.)

(Haunter and Gastly end up being pushed back, and struggle to remain a float, but Gengar keeps going.)

Mew: "Gengar!"

(Mew cries out.)

(Genger then uses all of his might to push all the attacks back with full force.)

(much to everyone's surprise.)

(Gengar almost collapses, but Mew is able to catch him.)

Mew: "Gengar, are you alright?"

(Mew asks.)

(Gengar is able to lift himself up and is still ready to fight.)

Mew: "Are you sure?"

(Mew asks.)

(Gengar nods his head in reply Suddenly.)

(his eyes glow and make something leaving her bag.)

(It's the Gengarite Mega Stone, along with Mew's Keystone.)

(Gengar takes the Gengarite stone while placing the Keystone on Mew's wrist.)

Mew: "Are you saying…?"

(Mew asks.)

(Gengar answers.)

Gengar: "Gengar Gengar." (Yes, we can do it.)

(Mew nods her head.)

Mew: "Of course we can."

Cassidy: "I don't know what you're planning, but it appears your little friendship is over."

(Cassidy says.)

Mew: "We'll see about that. My friendship with my Pokemon is stronger than you know. We all have special bonds within us."

(Mew says.)

(Mew lifts her wrist with the keystone up and it begins to glow.)

(Soon, Gengar's Mega Stone begins to glow as well.)

Cassidy: "What is that glow?!"

(Cassidy asks, shocked.)

Butch: "Are those stones I think they are?!"

(Butch panics.)

(Tracey then asks.)

Tracey: "Is that what I think it is…"

Misty: "Yeah. the strong bond Mew has with her Pokemon."

(Misty says.)

(Mew then taps her keystone and calls out.)

Mew: "Now Gengar… Mega Evolve!"

(With that, the Mega Stone fuses with Gengar as he begins to Mega evolve.)

(Haunter and the two Gastly are amazed to see Gengar evolving even further.)

(Now, Gengar has become Mega Gengar.)

(a portion of its body sinks into the ground and its arms and tail lengthen.)

(The lower portions turn a more reddish-purple, and a third eye appears on its forehead.)

(This new unblinking eye is oval, yellow, and allows it to see into other dimensions.)

(The spikes on his back are more numerous and pointed, and additional spikes appear on its hands and tail.)

(Its ears are now considerably longer and tilt backward.)

Mew: "Let's do this Gengar!"

(Mew calls out.)

Gengar: "Gengar!" (Let's!)

(Gengar says.)

(Cassidy calls out.)

Cassidy: "Drowzee has all the Pokemon attack Gengar at once!"

(With that, Drowzee uses its Psychic powers to command.)

(the Pokemon to perform all their attacks to create one large beam once more.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Gengar, use Night Shade!"

(Mega Gengar then begins to use the attack that strikes directly at the large beam of energy.)

(Soon, Mega Gengar's attack counters the Pokemon, causing the wind of it to push the Pokemon back a bit.)

(Cassidy then calls out.)

Cassidy: "Drowzee, use Psybeam!"

(With that, Drowzee begins to perform Psybeam and aims it at Mega Gengar.)

Mew: "Gengar, use Zap Cannon!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Mega Gengar then performs Zap Cannon which is an Electric Type.)

(Both of the attacks collide, but Zap Cannon takes it.)

(and strikes at the base of the machine, causing it to get electricuted.)

(Cassidy and Butch scream.)

Cassidy and Butch: "No!"

(The machine soon begins to short circuit and explode.)

(Soon, the machine is destroyed, and Drowzee has taken damages from the explosion.)

(As a result, Drowzee collapses and falls unconscious.)

(When that happens, Drowzee loses power of his attack, and all the Pokemon snap out of the trance.)

(They all look around and can't remember what happened.)

(Misty is the first to rush over.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(Pichu and Togepi happily turn to see Misty and hurry to Misty.)

(Togepi and Pichu jump into her arms and give them a hug.)

Misty: "Thank goodness you're both back to normal."

(Misty happily says.)

(Meloetta and Skwovet hurry to Tomo and they hug him.)

Tomo: "You guys are alright."

(Tomo happily says.)

(Meowth and the rest of Team Rocket's Pokemon are back to normal as well.)

(Meowth looks around with a confused expression.)

Meowth: "Hey! What?! Who?! What?! Where?! What?! What's going on?"

(Then Jessie and James walk to them.)

Jessie: "As long as you're back, everything's fine."

(Jessie says.)

(Mew turns to Mega Gengar.)

Mew: "You were great, Gengar."

Gengar: "Geng!" (Thanks!)

(Gengar says.)

(Just then, Pikachu calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika pi!" (Mew!)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Mew!)

(Eevee calls out.)

(Mew looks to see Pikachu and Eevee running towards her with glee.)

(Mew hugs them.)

Mew: "I'm glad you two are back. I miss you."

(Jenny then calls you.)

Officer Jenny: "Alright, everybody. Let's clear out before there's more trouble, on the double!"

(But Cassidy calls out.)

Cassidy: "Nobody goes anywhere!"

(Cassidy and Butch prepare to fight back.)

(But James calls out.)

James: "Weezing, SmokeScreen attack!"

(Weezing then performs the attack, making Cassidy and Butch cough in pain and unable to see.)

(That gives everyone enough time to escape outside.)

(Jenny and Mew call out.)

Officer Jenny: "Gastly, break down that gate!"

(With that, both Gastly easily destroy the gate.)

(so Jenny can lead the other Pokemon out.)

(Jenny says.)

Officer Jenny: "Come on! Let's go! Back to your trainers!"

(With that, all the Pokemon are able to escape.)

Tomo: "Is that all of them?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "Yep, all the Pokemon are free."

(Mew says.)

Jessie: "That wasn't too bad, twerp. Same for your friends."

(Jessie says.)

(Mew gives them a thumbs up in reply.)

(They suddenly hear Butch's voice.)

Butch: "This isn't over!"

(Everyone looks up to see Butch, Cassidy, and Drowzee on the roof.)

Cassidy: "We still have a score to settle! Don't we, Jessie?"

(Cassidy says.)

Jessie: "Some people don't know when to quit. Alright, Cassidy, how are we battling?!"

(Jessie says.)

Cassidy: "It looks like its two on two,"

Mew: "Make that three!"

(Mew says.)

(Pikachu agrees.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Bring it!)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Let's battle!)

(Eevee says.)

(Gengar, Haunter, and Gastly agree.)

Jessie: "What do you mean?"

(Jessie asks.)

Mew: "hey can't get away with what they did to our Pokemon!"

(Mew says.)

(Jenny calls out.)

Officer Jenny: "Keep your guard up, everyone! Even with that machine destroyed, Drowzee's attacks are still very powerful."

(Drowzee then prepares to attack.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee use Thunderbolt!"

(Pikachu and Eevee prepare the attack.)

(but Drowzee teleports itself away and reappears in front of them.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, Bite attack!"

(Arbork lunges forward for an attack, but Drowzee teleports away.)

Jessie: "We'll beat em."

(Jessie says.)

Mew: "We will?"

(Mew asks.)

(James calls out.)

James: "Tackle, now!"

(All the Pokemon charge to attack, but Cassidy commands.)

Cassidy: "Use your Mega Punch!"

(Drowzee then performs the attack that sends Weezing, Lickitung, and Victrebell flying back towards the fence.)

Tracey: "Woah! It's really strong!"

(Tracey says, surprised.)

Cassidy: "Yes, as the founders of Team Rocket's breeding center, we made this one with extra strong."

(Cassidy says.)

(Then Butch commands.)

Butch: "Drowzee, bounce your Hypnosis attack off of that antenna and we'll take control of all the Pokemon on the island!"

(With that, Mew and her Pokemon rush to stop them.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Mew wait!"

Tracey: "Don't, Mew!"

(Tracey calls out.)

Tomo: "Mew!"

(Tomo calls out.)

Cassidy: "Too bad there's nothing you can do to stop us, little boy. Drowzee, use your Metronome!"

(Cassidy says.)

(Drowzee then begins to use the attack.)

(Suddenly, Togepi begins to waves his little arms back and forth.)

Tracey: "Metronome. Now just about anything can happen."

(Tracey says.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Stop it!"

Officer Jenny: "Gastly, keep us covered!"

(Jenny calls out.)

(Gastly along with the Pokemon and Mew charge at Drowzee performs.)

(Metronome and Togepi perform the same.)

(Time is running out and there is no telling what's going to happen.)

(Just then, Togpei stops moving his arms and they begin to glow, causing a massive explosion.)

(Later in the evening, at the wreckage, Cassidy and Butch have both been arrested.)

Officer Jenny: "Now you're back where you belong."

(Jenny says, and closes the door to the police van.)

(As the van drives away, Cassidy and Butch says.)

Cassidy and Butch: "Looks like we're carted off again!"

James: "Hope we don't see you again!"

(James calls out.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "I bet the boss won't bail them out this time!"

Misty: "I bet he does."

(Misty comments.)

Mew: "Who care if he does or he doesn't? As long as our Pokemon are back,"

(Mew happily says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Agree.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Suddenly, Mew feels a tap on her leg.)

(she looks down to see the Drowzee that has been beaten.)

Mew: "Drowzee? What are you doing?"

(Mew asks.)

(Drowzee then uses it's Psychic abilities and gently floats one of Mew's Pokeballs to Mew.)

(Mew holds the Pokeball with a confused look.)

(Mew asks.)

Mew: "Do you… want me to catch you?"

Drowzee: "Drowzee," (Yes)

(Drowzee replies with a nod.)

(Mew is surprised and asks.)

Mew: "Are you sure?"

Drowzee: "Drowzee," (I'm sure.)

(Drowzee answers with a nod.)

(Mew giggles and says.)

Mew: "I guess you decide you have enough of Cassidy and Butch."

(Drowzee nods its head in reply.)

Mew: "Alright Drowzee, you can come. I hope we can be friends."

(Mew says.)

(Mew then gently taps Drowzee with her Pokeball and it goes inside.)

(In a matter of seconds, Mew is able to catch Drowzee.)

(The next day at the police station.)

(Mew and her friends are getting an award for their heroic deeds to save the Pokemon.)

Officer Jenny: "And so, on behalf of all the Pokemon trainers of Mandarin Island, I hereby present you with this certificate of distinguished achievement. You and your friends are now honorary citizens."

(Jenny says, handing Mew and her friends each a certificate.)

Mew: "Thanks,"

(Mew says.)

Officer Jenny: "We also have a special award to present to Jessie and James. But they seem to have disappeared."

(Jenny says.)

Misty: "That's too bad."

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "These people wanted to thank them."

(Tracey says.)

(Unknown to them, Jessie, James, and Meowth are watching from the building a short distance away.)

Jessie: "Imagine, accepting an award for doing something good."

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Yes, but it would be nice to get congratulations for doing something right for a change."

Jessie: "Wrong is where we belong! We've got a job to do, and it happens to be a bad one!"

(Jessie declares.)

Meowth: "Someday, we'll capture that Pikachu, just you wait and see!"

(Meowth agrees.)

James: "Yo ho!"

(James cheers.)

(Later on, Mew and her friends are sailing out of the port on Lapras as they bid their farewells.)

(Now, they are on the next part of their journey.)

Tracey: "It's kinda funny, but I was just thinking that the only time Jessie and James were on the winning side is when they sided with us."

(Tracey says.)

Misty: "Hey, yeah!"

(Misty agrees.)

Tomo: "Yeah. They only win when they team up with us."

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "I guess that proves even they can't lose them all."

(Mew says.)

(Soon, everyone begins laughing.)

(as they continue to sail across the sea for their next adventure on the Orange Islands.)
