Chapter 69: To Master the Onixpected!

(There's still weeks before the Pokemon League can take place.)

(Even though Mew is doing her best to get some training done for the Pokemon League.)

(she along with her friends are doing their best to get back to Pallet Town.)

(after the little fiasco that Team Rocket has gotten them into.)

(Mew and her friends continue to walk down the trail.)

(Misty sighs.)

Misty: "I can't believe Team Rocket has sent us far from Pallet Town."

Mew: "You have to admit, Team Rocket really got us into a jam this time."

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika pi," (You said it.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (I agree.)

(Eevee says.)

(Soon, Tomo says.)

Tomo: "Hey Mew, I'm getting kind of hungry."

Meloetta: "Loetta," (Me too.)

(Meloetta says.)

Skwovet: "Skwovet, (Me three.)

(Skwovet says.)

Brock: "I guess we can all use something to eat. I wonder where we're at right now."

(Brock says.)

(Mew looks at her Pokenav and says.)

Mew: "According to the map, we're still way away from Pallet Town, but it appears we're heading towards Mt. Hideaway. I remember going there a few times with papa when I was little, and there's supposed to be a giant Onix supposed to live there."

Brock: "A giant Onix?"

(Brock says, curious.)

Mew: "Yeah. Many of them live here, but I remember papa told me there was supposed to be an especially big one with scars on its face."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I sure hope we don't run into that Onix."

(Misty says, concerned.)

Mew: "Don't worry, we won't have too much trouble. Some of the Onix and other Pokemon who live there I've known of and they won't do anything unless someone provokes them. Besides, it's basically our only path to Pallet Town unless you want to go the long way."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Well I guess we don't have too many options."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Up the mountain we go."

(Brock says.)

(Sometime later, Mew and her friends arrived at a rest area.)

(The group is feeling a bit tired.)

Misty: "That sure was a lot of walking. I feel kind of dandy right now."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "And I'm starving,"

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Me too,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "I feel good after a little climb."

(Mew says.)

(Soon, the keeper of the rest area, an elderly woman.)

(wearing a pink and blue color kimono and apron comes out with drinks and snacks on the tray.)

(With a smile, the keeper says.)

the keeper: "Well, here we are."

Misty: "Thank you ma'am,"

(Misty says.)

(With that, the group takes the drinks and begins to drink the beverages.)

The keeper: "You're welcome. I heard tell of a trio wandering rascals convorting with Pokémon in these parts, and they could be the varmints that keep stealing my muskrat meatballs."

(The keeper says.)

(She looks down to notice the meatballs are gone, and is shocked.)

The keeper: "Those rascals! I can't figure…"

(However, it reveals that the group has taken the meatballs and are eating them.)

Mew: "These are pretty tasty!"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Just the right amount of muskrat."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "They taste good,"

(Tomo says.)

(Misty questions.)

Misty "How hungry do you have to be to eat muskrat meatballs?"

(Soon, they group and the keeper hear a sound coming from behind the station.)

(That alerts the keeper with a determined look.)

the keeper: "There they are! It's them again!"

(Mew and the others hurry to the back to see if the thieves are here.)

(Soon, Mew notices.)

Mew: "Hey, look!"

(The group looks to see three people.)

(looking like they're wearing robs running away where the keeper's alarm system is.)

(The old lady soon chases after them with the broom.)

the keeper: "Come on back here, you Poke-polecats! I'll teach you to move my victuals!"

(Seeing them, Mew says.)

Mew: "Wait a minute, I know who they are!"

(The three stop in their tracks, and they look more familiar.)

(The first turn their heads to reveal Jessie wearing a beard and mustache.)

Jessie (in an elderly voice): Prepare for trouble, whippersnapper!

James (in an elderly voice): And make it double, young feller!

Jessie (in an elderly voice): To protect the world from devastation!

James (in an elderly voice): To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie (in an elderly voice): To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James (in an elderly voice): To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie (normal voice): Jessie!

James (normal voice): James!

Jessie (normal voice): Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James (normal voice): Surrender now, or prepare to fight!

Meowth (normal voice): Meowth! That's flight!

Tomo: "It's Team Rocket again."

(Tomo says.)

(Then Mew crosses her arms.)

Mew: "Those lame disguises don't fool us! What kind of trouble are you three up to this time?!"

Jessie: "Sorry to disappoint you, we're just trying to get back to the basics."

(Jessie says.)

James: "Since we always seem to lose to you twerps, we decided to seek Pok-enlightenment by living as poor hermits on this mountain."

(James adds.)

(Jessie lowers her head.)

Jessie: "Yes, we didn't even bring any money for food."

James: "True. We're living off the land as nature intended."

(James says, lowering his head.)

Meowth: "Yeah, the land and this old lady's meat kabobs."

(Meowth says, and holds the bag of kabobs.)

(Seeing the proof the keeper charges at them.)

the keeper: "I'll teach you, you mangy moochers!"

(She then attacks Team Rocket.)

(Smacking the bags of muskrat meatballs out of Team Rocket's hands and are forced to flee.)

Meowth: "Let's beat it!"

(Meowth screams as he and his colleagues run away.)

(Mew and the others are amazed.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Impressive.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Wow.)

(Eevee says.)

Togepi: "Togepriiii," (Funny.)

(Togepi says.)

Pichu: "Pichu Pichu," (They ran away.)

(Pichu says.)

Meloetta: "Meloetta," (She's amazing.)

(Meloetta says.)

Skwovet: "Skwovet," (She's tough.)

(Skwovet adds.)

Misty: "You really showed them."

(Misty comments.)

(The keeper laughs and says.)

The keeper: "I reckon you young'uns are heading up the mountain, are ya?"

Mew: "Yes,"

(Mew says.)

The keeper: "Then I reckon you'll run into some of the giant Onix up yonder."

(The keeper says.)

Tomo: "How big are they?"

(Tomo asks.)

The keeper: "TVery large youngin. Grounds are good for growing around these parts, Onix jump up like victual heads. Yep. We're famous here for our overgrown Onix."

(The keeper says.)

Brock: "Fertile soil makes them grow larger."

(Brock says.)

Misty: "They must be scary,"

(Misty says, worried.)

The keeper: "Don't worry none, missy. Those Onix may be overgrown, but they're as gentle as can be."

(The keeper says.)

(Mew turns to Misty and says.)

Mew: "Told you."

(With that, Mew and the others continue to climb up the mountain, and it's very tiring.)

Brock: "We've been walking for hours and we haven't seen one sign of the giant Onix."

(Brock says.)

(Mew soon notices.)

Mew: "Maybe not, but I do see proof that it's been here. Look."

(Brock and the others look down.)

(and are surprised to see a large patch that travels in a straight line.)

Brock: "You're right. I'd say this is some kind of track left by something really big."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Yeah. This is a clear sign that the Giant Onix lives around here."

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, they feel the ground shaking.)

Misty: "What's that sound?!"

(Misty asks.)

(Tomo soon notices something head.)

Tomo: "Something's coming!"

(Everyone looks to see an Onix coming in their direction.)

(And it looks like it's two or three times as large as a normal sized one.)

Misty: "Well, there's the giant Onix!"

(Misty says, shocked.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (It's huge!)

(Pikachu says, shocked.)

Brock: "It's coming this way!"

(Brock panics.)

Mew: "Don't worry, as long as we stay away from the path, we won't be in any danger."

(Mew says.)

(Mew and the others quickly step back.)

(and watch the giant Onix slither right past them and down the path.)

(Everyone sighs in relief.)

Tomo: "Wow! That Onix was huge!"

(Tomo says.)

Meloetta: "Loetta," (Really huge.)

(Meloetta says.)

Skwovet: "Skwovet Skwovet," (Really really huge.)

(Skwovet says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Yeah. I know that Onix. He's the boss around here. And the biggest one here."

Brock: "It's amazing. I'd love to study what makes the Onix grow so big up here."

(Brock says.)

(Misty then turns to Mew.)

Misty: "I'm just glad you're here who knows the mountain areas. Otherwise, we would have been squished."

(Mew looks to where the Onix disappeared to.)

Mew: "But still, there's something not right."

Misty: "What do you mean?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "I'm not sure. The giant Onix roars out like something's wrong."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "You think something might have happened?"

(Brock asks.)

Mew: "Maybe. I say we follow it and find out what."

(Mew says.)

(With that, the group follows the Onix trail down.)

(to the direction it's heading.)

(They walk down the trail for the longest time, and are starting to feel tired.)

Misty: "How much farther do we have to walk?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "I'm sure it's not farther,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "I hope so,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew brings out her Pokenav.)

Mew: "According to this, if we keep traveling this way, we'll be able to find a path that could get us back to Pallet Town."

Brock: "Sounds good to me,"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, someone says.)

???: "Well, I didn't expect to find visitors on the mountain."

(Mew and her friends turn their heads to see a tall and muscular man.)

(He has long black hair, tied in a thick ponytail.)

(which dangles down his back to his shoulder blades and longish thick sideburns.)

(He has small dark eyes with prominent eyebrows, a small nose and a square jaw.)

(He wears white trousers with a tattered waist and ankles.)

(that are held up by a black belt, shirtless and black wristbands on his wrists.)

(Seeing the person makes Brock shocked.)

Brock: "I don't believe it."

Tomo: "What is it, Brock?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "Guys, this is Bruno. One of Kanto Region's Elite Four, specializes in Fighting Type Pokemon."

(Brock says.)

(That makes the group surprised.)

(They are meeting with another Elite Four.)

(First Lorelei at Seafoam Island.)

(and now they're meeting Bruno in the mountains.)

(Sometime later, Mew and her friends follow Bruno up the mountains.)

Mew: "So, you're actually here to do some training?"

(Mew asks.)

Bruno: "Yes,"

(Bruno says.)

Mew: "Wow. First we met Lorelei and now we're meeting Bruno. I'm seeing so many people I haven't met recently."

(Mew says.)

Bruno: "I see. So you met Lorelei. I remember her telling me how she met a group of trainers and with their help saved a village that was buried in snow."

(Bruno says.)

Misty: "That's us,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "And it's a pleasure to meet you, Bruno. You look very strong."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "And I'll bet your Fighting Type Pokemon are strong too."

(Tomo says.)

Bruno: "Thank you. So what brings you to the mountain?"

(Bruno replies.)

(Mew and her friend feel a bit skeptical about the question.)

Mew: "It's a bit of a funny story, but there was a little incident and we were launched all the way to another city so we're trying to get back to Pallet Town."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Yeah We flew pretty far."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "And we've been trying to get back."

(Brock says.)

(Then turns to Mew.)

Brock: "But on the plus side, our friend Mew was able to squeeze in some training."

Mew: "Yeah. I'm training to compete in the Pokemon League Competition. And my friends and I have been training and doing some traveling."

(Mew says.)

(Then blushes.)

Mew: "Of course, my training has also been going off the rails from time to time."

Misty: "Thanks to Team Rocket."

(Misty mutters to herself.)

Tomo: "And we managed to head here and we heard about the Giant Onix in the area."

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "We actually found one, but… but I can't stop thinking that something's wrong."

(Mew says.)

(Misty then says.)

Misty: "We've been following the trail until we met up with you."

Bruno: "I see,"

(Bruno says.)

(Then turns to Mew.)

Bruno: "Well, I can tell that you seem to be a strong trainer and you raise your Pokemon with care."

Mew: "Thank you. I really love my Pokemon and I do my best to help them have happy lives."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "And Mew also trains herself and her Pokemon hard and wants to do great for the Pokemon League."

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "We've been doing some training too."

(Tomo happily says.)

(Suddenly, Tomo feels his stomach growling.)

(Mew and the others, excluding Bruno, simply laugh with grins on their faces.)

Tomo: "Sorry I'm a little hungry,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "I guess it is time to start making dinner."

(Mew says.)

(The group agreed to the idea.)

(Mew and Brock along with Pikachu and Eevee go to the river and grab some buckets of water.)

(Tomo along with Bruno carry the rocks over to a cave on the mountain.)

(Then Mew chops some wood.)

(Bruno also gets the fire started at the fireplace they made.)

(Brock and Mew then cook some dinner.)

(After dinner is ready, the group eats the soup and Brock's soup is good.)

(The Pokemon are also having Pokemon Food with berries.)

Tomo: "It tastes great, Brock,"

(Tomo happily says.)

Brock: "I'm glad you like it,"

(Brock says.)

(Bruno turns to Mew and asks.)

Bruno: "So Mew, was it. What do you mean that you sense something wrong with the Giant Onix?"

Mew: "It's a bit hard to say. When it slither down the trail, it doesn't seem to be happy, almost like it was in some kind of pain."

(Mew says.)

Bruno: "In pain?"

(Bruno questions.)

Mew: "Yes. I want to help it, but we don't know where it is."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "And we still have no clue where it is."

(Misty says.)

(Bruno then asks.)

Bruno: "And how do you know?"

Mew: "Well um, it's a bit hard to explain, but I'm kind of well, different from most trainers. Tomo is the same."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Sure you both are different, but you both are able to make use of your differences and that makes you who you are."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I know,"

(Mew says.)

(Misty then says.)

Misty: "You see Bruno, both Mew and Tomo have been raised by Pokemon and are able to understand what they're saying. Mew lived in the forest of Pallet Town with Zeraora as it's guardian while Tomo used to live in the Nature Preserve of the Safari Zone with a herd of Kangaskhan."

Bruno: "Understand Pokemon… that's quite a unique gift you both have."

(Bruno says.)

(Then says.)

Bruno: "Either way, I can trust your instincts. Something might have happened with the giant Onix, and it will be best for us to find it and figure out what's wrong."

Brock: "I agree. And maybe we can learn more about it."

(Brock says.)

Misty: "If it would let us."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Don't worry, the Giant Onix are really sweethearts. They wouldn't hurt anyone unless someone tries to attack them."

(Mew says.)

(Unknown to Mew and her friends.)

(Team Rocket has been spying on them.)

(and have heard everything, especially about the Giant Onix.)

Meowth: "Did you just hear what I just heard?"

(Meowth asks.)

Jessie: "All we have to do is capture the biggest giant Onix we can find and we'll be as strong as the Elite Four trainers!"

(Jessie says, eagerly.)

James: "And we won't have to do any Pokémon training!"

(James adds.)

(Then all three laugh with glee, and have plans.)

(Later on, Team Rocket are in the search for the giant Onix.)

(planning to capture it.)

(They already find a large trail that also has trees that are either knocked down.)

(So they begin to follow it.)

James: "This track was made by that Onix?"

(James questions.)

Meowth: "Yeah. It must be humongous. The only way we could capture that thing is by total surprise."

(Meowth says, sounding worried.)

Jessie: "Don't you worry, we've got something Onixpected!"

(Jessie says with pride and brings out a bazooka.)

(Then she and James laugh, making Meowth sweat drops.)

(Meowth comments.)

Meowth: "That joke is unacceptable."

(Soon, Team Rocket is in a large rocky opening.)

(waiting for the giant Onix to make an appearance.)

Jessie: "And now all we've got to do is wait for that rocky reptile to show its petrified puss."

(Jessie says.)

(Suddenly, the ground begins to shake and shows signs of the ground making big cracks.)

(Team Rocket are soon ready to fire.)

James: "Stone cold!"

(James says.)

Jessie: "Rock and roll!"

(Jessie adds.)

(Soon, the giant Onix rises from the ground.)

(and Team Rocket are shocked by its massive size.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "Let's forget it!"

(But Jessie isn't backing down.)

Jessie: "We came here to bag an Onix and that's just what we're going to do."

(Back at Bruno's training ground.)

(Mew and her friends are about to be on their way and say goodbye to Bruno.)

Mew: "Well Bruno, my friends and I still need to get going."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Thanks for letting us join you at your training."

(Misty says.)

Bruno: "It's no trouble,"

(Bruno says.)

(Suddenly, they hear a loud explosion, catching everyone's attention.)

Tomo: "What was that?"

(Tomo asks.)

Misty: "Was that an explosion?"

(Misty wonders.)

Mew: "Sounds like trouble!"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Let's go!"

(Brock says.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket fires the bazooka twice.)

(and the both strike at the giant Onix.)

(Jessie chers.)

Jessie: "We hit it!"

James: "I've been shooting skeets since I was a tot."

(James comments.)

Meowth: "Good aims, James!"

(Meowth complements.)

(However, when the smoke clears, the giant Onix is not affected.)

(Soon it begins to pursue the frightened trio into running away.)

(Soon, the group notices a cave ahead.)

(Meowth cries out.)

Meowth: "Head for that cave!"

James: "Don't you know ladies go first?!"

(James screams running ahead.)

(James runs fast as well.)

James: "Etiquette, shmediquette!"

Meowth: "Every Meowth for itself!"

(Meowth screams, running away.)

(Team Rocket continues to run away as the giant Onix gives chase.)

(They soon run into the cave, and the rock snake Pokemon misses.)

(However, it begins to go crazy bashes the rocky wall above the cave.)

(Team Rocket screams in fear as the rocks are falling in the cave.)

(worried of being sealed in, crushed by the rocks, or the Onix Soon.)

(Mew, her friends, and Bruno arrive to see what is happening.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "Those voices!"

Misty: "It's Team Rocket!"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Looks like they made that giant Onix really mad,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "We gotta help them!"

(Mew says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (I agree!)

(Eevee says.)

Piakchu: "Pika!" (Right on!)

(Piakchu says.)

Brock: "It's Onix versus Onix!"

(Brock says and throws his Pokeball.)

(Then Onix comes out.)

Misty: "Rock Pokémon are weak against water Pokémon! Staryu, go!"

(Misty says, and calls out Staryu.)

Mew: "She's right! And two water Pokémon are better than one! Squirtle, I choose you!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Squirtle comes out.)

Tomo: "I'll help. Spheal, I choose you!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(With that, the Pokemon hurry down to confront the Giant Onix.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Onix, Tackle attack!"

(Onix charges at the giant Onix, but the attack doesn't work.)

Brock: "No use! That Onix is way too big!"

(Brock says.)

(In the cave, Team Rocket is panicking.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "Help us, please!"

James: "Get us out of here!"

(James cries.)

(Outside, Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Staryu, try to weaken that Onix with your Water Gun attack, and hurry!"

(Staryu strikes at the Water Gun.)

(but has no attack because it blocks the attack with its tail.)

Misty: "Staryu can't do it all alone! Maybe if your Squirtle and Spheal helped!"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Right! Okay, Squirtle, Water Gun!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then Tomo says.)

Tomo: "Spheal, use water gun too!"

(Both Pokemon including Staryu use Water Gun on Onix.)

Mew: "I think it's working!"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Those four are a great team!"

(Misty says.)

(Soon, Onix shakes the water as it's in pain.)

(Meowth sees the opportunity.)

Meowth: "Jessie, James, now's our chance to run for it!"

(But the two are already running.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "We're way ahead of you, Meowth!"

(Seeing them retreating, Meowth cries out.)

Meowth: "Hold it! Where're you going?! Wait for Meowth!"

(And hurries after them.)

(In the battlefield, Onix knocks the three water Pokemon with its tail.)

(including Onix.)

(Then smacks Team Rocket into the air.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "I guess that's.."

James: "The end of.."

(James adds.)

(Then Meowth finishes.)

Meowth: "Our tale!"

(Then they all scream.)

Team Rocket: "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

(Back at the battlefield, the Pokemon are badly hurt from the Onix's attack.)

Brock: "I've seen a lot of Onix before, but I've never seen one nearly as big and powerful as this one!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "And I think Onix is badly hurt, by something, and I don't think it's just the water gun."

(Mew says.)

(Just then, the giant Onix charges and slams on the cliff.)

(That causes Mew to fall and grab onto the horn of it's head.)

(The group panics.)

Everyone: "Mew!"

(Even the Pokemon cry out.)

Every Pokemon: (Mew!)

(Mew panics as she holds on to the Onix's horn.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Onix, why are you so mad?! Are you hurt?!"

(The giant Onix continues to roar in pain.)

(Mew hears Onix's cries and her eye wide and understands.)

(Unknown to Mew, Bruno looks at Onix with a serious look.)

(Bruno turns to everyone and says.)

Bruno: "Recall your Pokémon. Me and Mew can handle this ourselves."

Tomo: "Whatever you say!"

(Tomo says.)

(Hearing that, Mew calls back Squirtle.)

Mew: "Squirtle, return!"

(Everyone else does the same.)

Everyone: "Return, Staryu! Onix, return! Return, Spheal!"

(Brock then asks.)

Brock: "Master, are you gonna use one of your fighting Pokémon, now?"

Misty: "And what kind of attack are you gonna use?"

(Misty asks.)

Tomo: "Do you have a plan?"

(Tomo asks.)

(But Bruno answers.)

Bruno: "I will use, no Pokémon."

(Everyone is confused that Bruno is not going to use any of his Pokemon.)

(Then says.)

Bruno: "Let's see what your friend does first."

(Everyone is reluctant, but decides to listen.)

(With that, Bruno and the others watch as they see Mew beginning to climb down as she hangs on to Onix's back.)

(Onix continues to squirm around like crazy as Mew climbs down the back.)

(The Onix continues to cry out in pain.)

(as Mew climbs down until she reaches a specific spot on Onix's body.)

Bruno: "Hmm, I see what the problem is,"

(Bruno says.)

(Misty asks.)

Misty: "You do?"

Bruno: "Watch and see what Mew does."

(Bruno says.)

(Everyone turns to see Mew reaches the spot and notices something.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "It's okay Onix. I'll try to help you the best I can."

(Mew then feels the giant Onix's body and down it until she notices something.)

Mew: "Huh? What is this?"

(Mew wonders.)

(She reaches for it, but the giant Onix is squirming in pain.)

Mew: "I know it hurts, but…"

(Mew says.)

(Then struggles to pull.)

Mew: "It's… stuck…"

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Mew, did you find out what happened?"

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Guys, this Onix needs help! I think there's a Pokemon stuck between its body!"

Tomo: "A Pokemon?!"

(Tomo calls out.)

Brock: "Stuck between it's body?"

(Brock says, confused.)

(Mew pulls again, and says.)

Mew: "It won't come out."

(Bruno then jumps down into the ravine and walks to where Mew and Onix are.)

(But the Onix wiggles a bit in concern to see Bruno.)

(Bruno calmly says.)

Bruno: "Onix, there's no reason to fear me. Now let me see…"

(Onix looks at Bruno and decides to calm down.)

(Then Bruno approaches where Mew is.)

(Bruno says to Mew.)

Bruno: "Don't worry Mew, I'll take it from here."

(Mew nods her head and moves out of the way.)

(Then Bruno reaches inside that causes Onix to flinch in pain.)

(Mew rubs Onix's rocky body and says.)

(Mew comforts Onix as Bruno pulls the kind of Pokemon out.)

(Finally, Bruno is able to pull out the Pokemon much to the group's surprise.)

(The Pokemon that's been stuck in there, is a Sandslash.)

(Sandslash happily says.)

Sandslash: "Slash slash slash!" (Thank you, so, much!)

Bruno: "So you're what was troubling Onix all this time!"

(Bruno says.)

Mew: "It's a Sandslash,"

(Mew says.)

(Then brings out her Pokedex.)

Dexter: "Sandslash, the Mouse Pokémon and the evolved form of Sandshrew. A Ground type. It attacks opponents with the quills on its back.

(Bruno then places Sandslash down on the ground.)

(Then Sandslash runs off, glad to be free and unstuck.)

(Mew then climbs down to see Bruno.)

(She then pets Onix's on the side.)

Mew: "There you go."

Bruno: "You should be fine now, Onix,"

(Bruno says.)

(The Onix roars and says.)

Onix: "Onix" (Thank you.)

(Bruno chuckles and asks.)

Bruno: "What do you think, Onix? You want to come along with me?"

(The Onix nods its head agreeing to it.)

(Bruno then throws his Pokeball.)

Bruno: "Pokéball, go!"

(The Pokeball hits the Giant Onix and the Pokemon goes inside.)

(Then Bruno catches the Pokemon.)

Bruno: "You're mine, Onix."

Mew: "You were great Bruno. If I didn't know it, I would say you have a feeling something was wrong with Onix when you saw it."

(Mew says.)

Bruno: "You might say that,"

(Bruno says.)

(Then place his hand on Mew's head.)

Bruno: "You did very good yourself. And you have a special gift that you used wisely."

(Mew blushes and says.)

Mew: "Thank you."

Misty: "Mew!"

(Misty calls out.)

(Mew turns to see her friends hurrying to her.)

Tomo: "Are you alright?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "I'm okay. A little shocked from what happened, but I'm fine."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Still, you and Bruno were amazing, you were able to figure out that Sandslash was bothering Onix."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I'm just glad it's alright."

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Bruno.)

Mew: "And has a tough trainer like you by it's side."

Bruno: "Thank you, but I think you're a tough trainer as well. I believe that Humans and Pokemon must live and work, and share this world together. And they must care for each other. Just like you and your Pokemon. That is true strength."

(Bruno says.)

(Mew smiles as Pikachu and Eevee climb on Mew's shoulder.)

(Bruno then says.)

Bruno: "I look forward to the day that we face each other in battle, Mew."

Mew: "So do I,"

(Mew says.)

Bruno: "Be well,"

(Bruno says.)

(He then jumps on the rocky cliff and over the cliff, leaving the group.)

Mew: "Wow. He sure is something,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Yeah. I guess that's why he's an Elite 4 and he didn't need to battle Onix."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "I guess learn something from this experience."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Yeah,"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew and her friends laugh with smiles.)

(and soon on their way back to Pallet Town to continue training for the Pokemon League.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket finds themselves in deep trouble with a herd of angry Onix who do not like visitors.)

(Jessie worriedly says.)

Jessie: "I think things are looking sort of rocky, don't you?"

James: "These Pokémon couldn't be bolder!"

(James comments.)

Meowth: "Maybe people take them for granite!"
