Chapter 144: Wait, you aren't...gay?

Silence continued for only a few moments before Amir's grandmother cleared his throat. Andrew, out of curiousity, raised his gaze. Amir's grandmother met it, his brown gaze muddled with confusion.

"You were dating a woman, Andy?" Amir's grandmother asked and Andrew blinked. He didn't know why he was asking this question. He thought that was made pretty clear. 

"Uh, yeah. I've dated…pretty much anyone." Andrew said and Maxwell froze. Amir's grandmother seemed surprised. 

"Huh. I thought you would have only been interested in men, but I guess I was wrong. I misjudged you." Andrew didn't know why that was the biggest concern here, but he didn't question it. He did question if that was an insult or not. Was it a bad thing that he'd dated women? 

"Is that a problem?" Andrew asked, genuinely interested and he sighed, shaking his head.
