I was about to speak when Eunuch Liu roared outside my wife's room.

"Your Highnesses, you must wake up. You both need to attend the court meetings today. It's already late in the morning," he says.

My wife gets up and covers her chest. I giggled. I got up and held her naked body, then pulled her closer. I claimed her lips again and smiled.

"I love you," I whispered.

Her cheeks blush. She wraps her hands around my neck and kisses me too. "I love you more, Shanguan Zu Jin," I mumble.

We both smile and giggle. "Let's get off to bed. I have an important matter to discuss with my father's harem. I know you can take care of the outer court. I won't be attending for more days or even weeks," she says, halting.

She grabs her clothes and puts them on. She handed me my clothes as well.
