When the players logged out of the game, Red temporarily noted their personalities.
NTRslayer was occasionally calm, but he was quite curious about everything; compared to the other four, he was very normal.
Cuckmaster was a total idiot with unusual thoughts. The only thing of value about him was his bad-boy good looks—oh, and he wore earrings too.
Bob was similar to NTRslayer, but he focused on flirting with girls.
Fairygoth has cold face and by looking at her accessories like pearl earrings and her neatly styled short hair, she seemed to come from a wealthy family. She had a weak resistance to cute Pokémon.
Farmqueen was just like her name suggested. She had knowledge about farming and would sometimes dig in the ground with her bare hands to see if the berry plants needed fertilizer or anything. Oh, and she could be quite naïve at times.
Of course, this was all from Red's perspective. If it were Blue's, he would probably call all five of them douchebags or something.
'Oh right, the shop that the system mentioned but I haven't checked out yet.'
The shop screen appeared, showing an array of items for sale.
I mean… really a lot.
'Mega key? Z move?? Dynamax???'
Red was confused; for a boy from the small town of Kanto, he had never seen these things before.
He scrolled through many items, they sold everything from outfits for Pokémon to a flute.
Wait, why is this flute so ridiculously expensive??
It was priced at over 100 billion pokédollars! Red believed that even if he worked himself to death, he couldn't afford this item.
'This shop has so many items I've never seen before... and the cheapest thing here is a letter.'
He glanced at the amount of money his mother had given him, which was only about 10,000 pokédollars.
He decided to turn off the shop, but before he did, he noticed an item.
Soothe Bell
He read the item information while watching his Pikachu playing with a neighboring Pokémon.
This Pikachu didn't listen to him. She seemed to enjoy her freedom. Perhaps that was why she refused to return to her Poké Ball.
He wanted her to trust him, but he couldn't force her.
Seeing the Soothe Bell was reasonably priced, he decided to buy it.
A blue light appeared in his hand, forming a small bell with a strap.
Holding it, he approached Pikachu.
However, Pikachu was more difficult than he expected, every time he got closer, she stepped back.
Was it because she was a female Pikachu and more cautious?
Red felt helpless when Pikachu wouldn't come closer, and it was getting late.
He tried to convey to Pikachu that they would begin their journey together, and she reluctantly accepted.
She was interested in exploration and adventure, not because of this human, hmpf!
"..."
What's this? Why does this face look like Blue's?
Are they the same type? Tsundere?
Red decided to let it go. Overthinking was exhausting.
With that, he and Pikachu left the town together.
However, before leaving.
"Red!"
Three younger voices called out behind him, and he turned to see two boys and a girl—his neighbors Chase, Elaine, and Trace.
They were only about six years old.
"So you're the last one to leave," Chase said, on the verge of tears.
When he had moved here with Elaine, he was very worried and shy.
That was until he met the older kids—Red, Blue, and Leaf.
They treated them kindly.
Red was quiet but nice, Blue was arrogant yet affectionate, and Leaf was cheerful but a bit wicked.
Wait, why was Leaf different from the other two?
Never mind, thanks to meeting them, Chase and Elaine gained confidence and both dreamed of becoming trainers alongside their best friend, Trace.
Trace was a bit special, he was a relative of Blue, so he was closer to him than the others. (Cousin)
If Blue was proud, then Trace was friendly in equal measure.
The three were very close, almost like little replicas of Red, Blue, and Leaf.
But all three of them were now ten years old, officially becoming legal trainers.
In a month, the Indigo League would take place.
Since Leaf's birthday came earlier than Red and Blue's, she had set off first with the Bulbasaur she had raised since she was little.
Then it was Blue's turn; they hadn't even said goodbye to him before he vanished.
Now it was just Red, and they wanted to bid farewell as sincerely as possible.
Red looked at the three kids, almost smiling.
It was just a month away, yet they acted as if he were leaving for a year. These kids were so innocent.
"Red! I hope you become the greatest trainer ever!"
"Don't lose to anyone! Show them that the trainers from Pallet Town can't be underestimated!"
"Please take care of Blue while you're on your journey."
Chase and Elaine cheered, while Trace spoke softly.
Red raised his fist with a confident smile.
Then he bid farewell along with Pikachu.
Pikachu looked at Red with a different expression.
'This human is very well-liked... could he be different from other trainers?'
Pikachu's perspective of Red shifted slightly.

"Phew! I'm all sweaty and so hungry!"
Rey got up from his bed, looking at the virtual reality headset and reflecting on what he experienced in the game.
This is the first time he seen a game with a light-hearted atmosphere, yet its primary content revolves around battle commands.
It was incredibly creative and highly strategic!
He decided to take a shower and then order some food.
As he showered, the memories he experienced in the game haunted him more and more—Cyndaquil, Weedle.
So cute!
He was hooked on this game!
After finishing his shower, he decided to turn on his computer and look up that Pokémon game.
Clicking on the reviews, he decided to leave a positive rating. If there were 10 stars, he would definitely give it a full score without hesitation! Unfortunately, there were only 5 stars available.
He typed out each word on the keyboard, praising the game until he ran out of compliments.
Post!
His first review appeared on the screen, and he looked at it with satisfaction.
