Chapter 15: Hunter Realm
The difference between the Awakened Stage and Hunter Stage was huge. While a person at the awakened stage awakened their gift and was able to wield the energies novicely the hunter stage was different.
They would become one with the energies able to much more swiftly control the energy without wasting stamina. They were also able to fly however only few who possessed flight related gifts.
Also being about five times stronger than an awakened stage it was clear as day who would win in an altercation.
Zeng with determination sought a battle, a monster, person it didn't matter. The important thing was to breakthrough at this moment.
Rushing through the dense forest he leaped into the sky looking for a battle. Like this about fifteen minutes passed until he met the perfect target.
"Hunter Stage Bloodwolf.." He said taking a peek at the wolf drinking water in the distance.
Sneaking up on the massive beast standing three meters tall he made sure to blend into the environment.
The wolf with heightened senses immediately took notice of Zengs drenching stench..
"Hrrghhh.." The bloodwolf bared its fangs with a growl before jumping onto Zeng.
"Hmph." Zeng said and jumped into the sky bewildering the not so intelligent wolf..
With a flying kick he dropped down using his heel onto the wolf's back.
A crunch sound reverberated as Zeng broke a bone in it's back..
"Aoooorghhh!" With a roar the wolf turned around and pounced onto him with great agility.
Zeng grabbed hold of the wolf's giant mouth and pulled out a tooth before retreating..
"Weapon acquired." He reminded himself before brandishing the decently large and sharp tooth into his hand like a dagger.
The wolf with increasing bloodlust lost all sanity and charged again like a wild boar.
Zeng stepped aside before throwing the tooth into the wolf's abdomen penetrating it's skin with great force.
The blood dripped down as the wolf turned around ready to face him again however this time much more injured.
Zeng stood still in place waiting for the wolf to attack him again.
However the wolf seemed to transform as the animal turned into a sleek black wolf with red eyes..
"Is this it's gift?" Zeng thought watching the strange transformation occur.
A few seconds passed and it seemed the transformation finished. The animal grew one meter tall now standing four meters tall and it's claws were at least one meter wide as well.
Taking the fight much more serious Zeng prepared for the onslaught.
The wolf roared again with anger making sure Zeng heard him clearly.
With a swift dash the sleek black camouflaged wolf encircled him before pouncing this time with its claws.
Zeng prepared to block the incoming claws raised his fists instead striking them parrying the two claws. In response Zeng unleashed his strongest punch infused with Qi onto the wolf and it ultimately fell to the ground.
"Decent fight I guess, nothing impressive." He concluded not having received a single strike.
However the bottleneck loosened. Altough the fight was not as breathtaking it was still Zengs proper first battle which easily rid the bottleneck.
Taking a seat close to the wolf's corpse he sat feeling the incoming breakthrough. His skin tingling, his muscles and organs almost cramping together it was coming.
Zengs breakthrough started and the surrounding Qi flocked towards him almost like a vortex.
Continuing to absorb the Qi it was automatically infused with his every cell almost upgrading himself.
Concentrating to his utmost abilities he made sure to reap the most benefits sucking the Qi even faster.
Suddenly his skin started to crack signaling the second part of the breakthrough, metamorphosis.
His previous vessel would not be enough to handle all the Qi, that is why a metamorphosis happened at every breakthrough to Hunter.
A black liquid ran down Zengx body and his cracked skin fell off revealing a smooth, muscular but lean man with new gained strength.
With a clench of his fist Zeng suddenly created a ball of Qi in his hand before unleashing it into the nearby tree destroying everything in the 15 meter radius.
"Status.." He murmured feeling the ability to destroy everything.

The stats were a bit shocking. He had gained a five time boost in everything completely changing his combat capabilites.
If before Zeng could fight 20 awakened with his amazing stats, he could now fight over 1000 with ease.
"This is similiar to Foundation Establishment however still stronger." Zeng concluded using a regular Qi flying technique of his previous life to fly in the sky.
"Finally...flight." He told himself with a smile on his face.
"This is the best feeling, growing stronger knowing that you could beat anyone below you. This is the greatest." He murmured to himself still in great spirits.
Gazing upon the sunrise he took a deep breath to relax a tad bit after these four weeks.
Another 10 minutes passed like this until he eventually landed on the ground next to the wolf. He cut off the claws, teeth and hide with ease and precision from experience before stuffing them into his spatial ring to sell later.
Taking a dip into the nearby lake he washed himself before flying home.
It was fast, around three minutes passed and he already reached Shej City.
He was strong however was still a puny kid who hadn't ventured to outer space..
Quickly entering the city he arrived home and went in.
"Grandma?" He shouted upon entry.
"Boy?" She responded a bit worried in the kitchen after he disappeared for so long..
"Where have you been?!" She shouted a bit angry worried sick.
"Sorry, I went to breakthrough to Hunter Stage.." Zeng replied with an awkward stiff smile bowing a little.
"..Just get in." She said with a sigh still annoyed at him.
"Been lonely?" Zeng asked her with a giggle.
She didn't respond and went into the kitchen.

These past few weeks had been peaceful for Feng Yu as her new brother suddenly disappeared..
He was extremely mysterious and cocky so she didn't care at all simply enjoying her school break hanging out with friends or sleeping in the bed.
However the peace wouldn't last forever as she heard the boy shout downstairs. She was just about to have a girl sleepover too!
Zhou Jing and Lin Yuye who heard the voice clearly had amused expressions on their faces.
"Ooo, is the big brother here?" Zhou Jing said a bit curious asked Feng Yu.
"Hmph, big? I'm the big sister!" She said still flustered from what Zeng had done to her weeks prior.
"Whats wrong?" Feng Yu asked sensing Lin Yuye's abnormality.
"He is strong." She replied with a frown looking down on the floor. This was her gift Super Sense.
It worked almost like a better version of an Xray, looking through walls and her heightened sense helped her immensely through battles.
Gazing down onto where Zeng sat she shuddered a bit in fear seeing his bloodred aura indicating he had killed before.
"Are you sure he's only a highschool student?" She said a bit worried now.
"Yes!? He was a student in the United Nations before being banished." She responded a bit curiously to Lin Yuye.
"Banished? He is a criminal?" She said finally understanding his aura..
"I don't know he didn't explain.." She responded a bit anxious now.

Lin Yuye misunderstood, due to Zeng living his third life now he had accumulated a lot more experience and in the cultivation world of his previous transmigration he killed thousands.
Zeng sat still on the chair and a bit offended sensing the intrusion of the woman upstairs.
"Grandma, I will be back okay?" He responded with a smile before stepping up the stairs ready to confront these interesting girls.
Lin Yuye still keeping an eye on the young man suddenly twitched in surprise as she saw Zengs eyes looking straight into hers..
It was almost like Zeng was telling her she wasn't the only one who had this ability. As he took to the stairs Lin Yuye stood up grabbing Feng Yu and Zhou Jing.
"H-He noticed me, he's coming now.." she said now flustered for the first time in a while. She didn't know exactly how but Zeng gave her a feeling of being exposed, extremely exposed.
"Why are you grabbing us!?" Feng Yu said a bit angry that her friend seemed scared.
With a hmph she sat down again on the chair waiting for the encounter.
Zeng eventually arrived at her door and knocked before opening. He stepped into the room his head almost hitting the doorframe.
"Greetings, Sisters." He said nonchalantly looking at them.
"Woah..~Junior brother.." Zhou Jing said a bit nervous and skittish seeing the young tall handsome man step into the room.
"What are you doing here, Idiot?" Feng Yu shouted a bit annoyed at his intrusion.
"Idiot?" Zeng thought to himself.
"This girl really resembles that heavens will, tsk tsk." He thought again with a ugly expression.
"Nothing, I just felt my personal space being invaded. That's all." Zeng responded quickly looking at Lin Yuye snapping out of his thoughts.
"You sisters are?" He asked for their names still standing still.
"I am Zhou Jing!" The more curvy woman replied with a smile shaking his hand earnestly.
"Nice to meet you pretty sister." Zeng replied sensing her advances and gazing upon the curvature of her figure boldly.
"Oho..bold aren't you Junior Brother." She replied with a giggle staring Zeng straight in the eyes.
"And you are?" Zeng ignored her and asked the more seemingly cold woman to her left.
"Lin Yuye." She said plainly recovering from her initial flustering state.
"So you are the friends of this petty girl?" He said with a light laugh seeing Feng Yu annoyed with a pout.
"Shut up!" She threw a pen at his face however Zeng caught it.
"Feisty aren't you, I feel bad for grandma having her deal with you." He revealed another ugly expression towards her clearly not impressed by her antics.
"Idi.." she was just about to retort when Zeng cut her off.
"You sisters are from Shej College?" He asked curiously a bit more intrigued to find out more.
"Mhm, of course we are." Zhou Jing replied quickly moving closer towards Zeng.
"Then what's the number one ranked school?" He asked clearly clueless.
"..Obviously it's Beijing Military Academy." Zhou Jing continued letting out a cute little laugh.
"Is Shej College good? Any arrogant young masters, just call your Junior Brother I will deal with them." Zeng said tapping their shoulders with his big hands.
Zhou Jing nodded confused thinking he was just joking around while Lin Yuye stayed silent.
"It's time for me to go then sisters, enjoy." Zeng concluded after the silence leaving the room.
As Zeng departed the girls continued their gossip session.

"Oh that Junior Brother sure is confident." Zhou Jing a bit intrigued said however lost her interest now.
"He has an inner world y'know." Feng Yu responded with an even more ugly expression feeling offended.
"Ah..makes sense then, but he is still confident for no reason. It will be fun seeing him break down slowly.." she replied a bit excited of the failure of Zeng.
Lin Yuye continued staying silent until they moved on to another topic..
Zeng returned to his room and sat down contemplating..
