Chapter 2: The Grand Escape!

Five days passed by in a flash.

During the past 5 days, Kayn had spent the majority of time exercising and adjusting to his strength. Going from a seemingly normal Human to a SuperHuman with multiple mental abilities such as Telekinesis, Telepathy and adjusting to his master-level of Human Combat Methods.

Now, although Kayn wouldn't claim to have fully adapted to his body and his powers, he could still control his body. As for the SuperHuman Powers, Kayn had adapted to flight and light telekinesis, but decided to put Telepathy on the back-burner as it would take way too long to fully adapt to it.

Finally, on the 5th day, night time had fallen. Kayn, who was supposed to be in bed asleep, slowly got out of the bed, looking around and spotting the lights in the halls all turned off.

Over the past 5 days, he had signed in, but it was mostly useless rewards, such as Food Seasoning and a hair shaver for supernatural beings, however on the 3rd day, Kayn was given a <Night Vision> ability.

Kayn looked around the hallway, only spotting 3 guards in this halls, but he presumed there were many many more around the facility.

Kayn walked up to the gate, using his Telekinesis to pry off the electronic lock of the gate and open it.

~BEEP~BEEP~BEEP~BEEP!

Instantly, a loud alarm echoed throughout the entire base, while dim red lights immediately activated alongside the entire facility. Simultaneously, all of the various other children who were sleeping immediately awakened, getting up from their beds and moving towards the gates, looking out into the halls.

As they looked out into the halls, the various children spotted dozens if not hundreds of guards in the base reacting quickly, densely running down the corridors as they moved towards the hallway where the alarm originated, where they finally spotted Kayn who had someone left his cage.

Kayn levitated off of the floor and flew forwards, swinging his fist ferociously as it connected with the masked head of one of the guards.

~BOOM~

The head of the guard exploded as Kayn's fist connected with his head, leaving his headless body to collapse onto the floor, dead.

Shivers immediately ran down the spines of all of the guards who had seen that scene, yet Kayn wasn't done with any of them yet. Kayn picked up the weapon in the dead guards belt, a massive Desert Eagle Pistol.

The other guards immediately reacted finally, bringing out their guns as they all immediately shot towards Kayn with intent to kill.

Kayn immediately activated his telekinesis, an invisible shield of his will immediately blocking all of the bullets while he flew forward, a mini sonic-boom occurring as he took off towards his enemies.

Kayn kicked one of the guards stomach, a terrifying force in his boot sent the guard flying into one of the other cages, his head smashing against the metal door as he spurted blood and collapsed, dead from brain injuries. All the while Kayn had a small telekinetic shield protecting him from normal bullets.

Kayn lifted one of his fingers, pushing his current telekinetic abilities to the extreme as he lifted around 12 of the guards off of the ground and slamming them back down onto the ground over and over, before slamming downwards and crushing their heads, craters being formed on the floor due to his actions.

Kayn flashed through the room, ruthlessly killing anyone else who dared stand in his way. From crushed heads, to twisted necks and even just blunt force trauma, Kayn brutally and efficiently slaughtered all of those who dared stand in his way of escape.

However, he didn't feel any abnormality. Maybe it was because his mind had already adapted to his need to kill in order to survive, but he didn't want to vomit at the sight of dead bodies, it felt more like venting all of the pain, frustration and despair he had felt for the years captured here.

Kayn looked at all of the dead guards at his feet, and saw the shock and excited eyes of the children clinging onto the railings of the gates as they stared at him, hoping he would succeed, hoping he would be able to set them free from this hellhole.

"Stay quiet, I'll be right back." Kayn said, before flashing forward towards the various corridors ahead, spotting many more children locked up looking at him in anticipation, alongside many more guards awaiting to stop him.

~BOOM~BANG~CRUNCH~CRACK!

Within the base, there were extremely loud roars and screams of pain and despair, booms and bangs echoing throughout the various corridors as Kayn moved through the entire facility, systematically slaughtering any and everyone in his path.

The guards didn't stand a chance. Corridors were soaked with blood and corpses scattered all around, various body parts also sliding down the walls, with only Kayn alive to look around. Even the researchers didn't stand a chance of surviving, Kayn brutally slaughtered them all.

10 Minutes Later!

Finally, after ten minutes, Kayn had brutally slaughtered all of the guards. To be honest, he hadn't expected there to be this many guards, and he still had to move quickly, or else reinforcements would arrive.

Kayn finally entered the information research room. Looking around for anything he could steal and potentially take away. Kayn walked up to the monitors and keyboards, immediately deciding to delete and destroy all of the research.

The most advanced secret technology was currently around 2010 level even though it was 2003 if Kayn remembered correctly, so he could still easily handle this level of technology.

After deleting all the technology, Kayn grabbed multiple sticky bombs that he had taken from the dead guards, lining all of them in the room and taking the detonator with him.

Then, Kayn moved to the equipment room, taking all the pistols and magazines he could with him. The bigger guns would take too much storage space, so he stuck to pistols, knives and daggers. Then, Kayn took some tablets, but eventually decided against it as it might be electronically traceable.

Finally, Kayn walked out back to the information room, electronically opening the gates of all of the child prisoners and speaking on a mic towards every corner of the building, "All of you, I succeeded, meet me at the Food Court and I'll take you out."

Kayn chose the food court as it was close to the exit from the map he spotted. Walking toward the Food Court, Kayn spotted all of the children neatly standing around awaiting him, spotting his bloody body, although it was scary, they were still excited.

The oldest child here was Kayn's age at around 12 years old, whereas the youngest child was only 5 years old. Overall, after counting, there was around 53 children total. There were more previously, but they had unfortunately died during experimentation.

The children timidly walked up to Kayn and looked at him with wide eyes, obviously considering him as the backbone, their new faith after he had saved them.

"Reinforcements were called and they would be arriving in around 30 minutes, so we have to leave as soon as possible to avoid them on our trail." Kayn said, with his abilities revealed, he knew that he would be getting chased relentlessly, so he needed a head start.

Led by Kayn, the children moved towards the exit of the base. Kayn had left some of the older children to carry some of the load, resources that he had gotten from the facility.

A briefcase with around $500,000 USD, bags filled with the pistols, knives and daggers, stacks of bread, eggs, fruits, vegetables, frozen meat, milk and water, probably for the researchers as Kayn and the other children had never eaten such good food.

Finally, there was barrels upon barrels of the mashed-potatoes-esque nutritional food. Kayn used his telekinesis to carry the barrels while he had the other children carry the other things.

Kayn found a large military truck with a crate on the back. Kayn loaded all of the resources and children into the crate, and searched for any trackers, finding 2 and removing them.

Thankfully, as a secret organization, there wasn't any noticeable posters, in order to not draw attention, so Kayn drove off using a Map he memorized of the surrounding area.

Turns out he was currently in Russia, deep within a Forest. It was night time to it was pitch-black outside the base, and Kayn had all the lights of the vehicle turned off, but he had night vision, so it was fine.

Kayn never took driving lessons in his past life, but was just using his intelligence alongside his basic knowledge of driving vehicles in order to drive relatively stably.

Kayn knew that after this experience, he couldn't simply send these children to an orphanage, as many of them were probably kidnapped from those places anyway, instead, Kayn needed to take it upon himself to take care of them.

After around 6 hours of straight driving, Kayn parked inside of a forest, taking a sigh of relief as he believed he had avoided the trailing of the enemies. Kayn exited the driver's seat of the vehicle and slightly opened the crate, entering it and spotting the various children cuddled up together in the freezing cold crate.

Kayn looked at all of the tired children with red eyes who were looking at him with praise and expectation, "You all should go and sleep, don't worry, I'll find a nice place to stay by time you all awaken."

The children nodded, trusting him and not long after, the sound of shallow breathing came one after another, and the group of children quickly fell asleep.

Kayn made a sandwich, eating it as he returned to the driver's seat and thank about his current situation. At present, the amount of information he has come into contact with is too little. He knows its a world combining multiple DC projects, and that it was 2003. The Justice League was a thing, but he needed more information.

Kayn leaned back in the seat, deciding to take a 1 hour nap while using his telekinesis and light telepathy as a warning sign.
