Chapter 104: Hyperventilating

Brent shivered not from the coolness of the air but from the tension inside the helicopter. 

How could Zen not feel or sense the friction between the other two was a mystery to him.

Unless Zen was probably trying to see how Lithe would handle the situation. 

He checked Zen's reflection in the glass and the dominant alpha remained expressionless like he had totally checked out.

Before Brent could try to tell Jared to calm down there was a movement in his dull brown eyes. 

It was like a dam close to overflowing, the waters had been churning and building up to this point. 

Brent took another sip of his coffee. 

He had seen Jared angry many times before but there was something different about his manner this time around. 

Changing his mind Brent felt it wiser to keep his mouth shut after all he would probably have to work again with Jared in the future.
