Kelly’s POV
“You paid them…to frame me up,” I said as I stared blankly at the woman in front of me. Her eyes widened in panic. She even paled. Her fingers trembled which she immediately hid under the table between us.
“What are you talking about?”
I tilted my head. “That is also the reason why you came here alone when I told you to bring your husband. You know that the people you hired are caught.”
She gritted her teeth as her eyes sharpened. “My husband deserves the inheritance more than anyone! He worked so hard for that and you’ll come into the picture to steal everything?”
I smirked. “Come on, Diane! We both know who the real heiress is. I’m just claiming what’s rightfully mine—”
“You gold digger!”
I lifted my chin and crossed my legs. She gasped and sat on her chair properly after we heard people whispering.
Diane swallowed hard and balled her fists. “What do you want?”
“Simple,” I paused and smirked at her. “What do you know about my mother’s death?”
