Chapter 147: Journey Talk

A few days after their midnight conversation that make them realized that they have the same feeling and concern, Erik, Mia, and Liam were summoned to Odin's chamber.

When they walked through the towering halls toward Odin's quarters the weight of expectation settled heavily on their shoulders, their earlier feelings of restlessness resurfacing. Was this what they'd been sensing, that quiet tug in their hearts?

They entered Odin's chamber and found the All-Father looking stronger than he had since Valeria's defeat, the piercing gaze of his one eye softened with a rare warmth and power. He welcomed them with a smile and asked how they were.

After they exchanged pleasantries, Odin paused and looked at each of them thoughtfully.

"Tell me, my child," he began, "have you been feeling a sort of... incompleteness or a restlessness within your heart?"
