Chapter 90: Whispers

Erik watched Mia's face closely, noticing the sudden shift in her expression. Her eyes darkened with worry and her lips pressed into a thin line. He furrowed his brow.

"What's going on? What did you see?" Erik asked softly. "What's going on? What did you see?"

They have both received the same message from the System. But the only one who can send a message back are only Mia. So Erik didn't know what she send back to Odin who have now replacing Heimdall.

Mia blinked, momentarily forgetting that Erik couldn't access the same part of the System she could. Only she could tinker with the Runes and communicate directly through them. She sighed, remembering that she needed to tell him.

She sighed softly, pressing her lips together before responding.

"Liam's condition… it hasn't changed. He's still the same."
