All eyes were fixed on the twins as they walked in with white robes. The robes didn't exactly flow on the floor but stopped somewhere around their ankles.
Their chests were open and a bit of their back, showing a lot of their muscular bodies as well as the angelicity, if that was ever a word that followed with it.
There wasn't much makeup but I could see the silver glistening powder at the edge of their eyelids as they fluttered their eyelashes, adding charm to each of them.
The golden wreath resting on their heads were shown with their blond hair and made them look like Greek gods.
Their slow steps toward the center sent serenity to their surroundings and gave them a rather majestic appearance.
Their outfit was a bit perverse since it showed a lot of skin but it fit them perfectly.
It was like they integrated or was it blended, anyway, my point is, that they became the characters they were dressed as, and no matter how godly they looked, they were no doubt...
"Angels." The words escaped my lips.
"Haha, who knew such manly men would look so pure and innocent when dressed as angels?" Taiha remarked and in my mind, I thought,
'That's because they are originally innocent. The outfit just brings out their inner self. '
I felt proud that the entire world would feel awe at the sight of these kids. They're taking a huge step into the world.
"We're ready now. Let's start the shoot." Taiha announced and I nodded.
I looked up and finally engaged in eye contact with the twins.
They had their eyes fixed on me, smiling sweetly. And then, they mouthed,
"Do we look good, Hyung?"
Both mouthed the same thing but I could hear their voices in my head. And because of that, I felt I was imagining it.
Their lips... My eyes landed on the pink lush that was smeared on their lips. It looked so natural yet it made their lips look so appealing and tempting and... What?!
I blinked my eyes twice and shook my head.
This was no time to be having obscene thoughts. This was work.
'Get your act together Dongwoo. Is this how you're going to be in the future? You can't fawn over those kids. It's a sin.'
I reminded myself, took in a deep breath, and placed my full focus on the job.
The twins looked pleased for some reason and kept smiling at me.
The shoot started and I took the first shot, followed by several. Honestly, I was a bit nervous. It was like a big responsibility had been placed on my shoulder so it was burdening.
But I buckled up, chinned up, and took the challenge.
Taiha and I looked at the shots and he laughed heartily, patting my back in the process.
"I knew you were a natural." He said. "These look so great." He said and I blushed at the compliment.
"T-thank you. It's all thanks to your advice." I humbly said, causing him to lift his head in pride.
"Haha, you don't have to be so humble." He said, though I could tell he was glad with my response. "Let's take a few more, change the theme, and call it a wrap. Things are going great."
The atmosphere in the studio was bright. I was so glad it went well.
If things went like this on a daily basis, I don't think I'll have any problem with... My eyes landed on Seojin standing at the door of the dressing room.
Why wasn't he going in yet? He needed to get changed for the next theme.
He had a smile on and his eyes were brightly fixed on me.
Wait, me?
I looked back to see if I had mistaken it and he was actually staring at someone else but there was no one.
He raised his hand and gave a slight wave.
Ah, he was waving.
I subconsciously raised my hand and waved at him as well before turning away abruptly. That was enough, right?
At least, he wouldn't feel like I was ignoring him if I did that.
"Ooh, you seem close to the models." A girl from the crew said and I turned to look at her.
She had short pigtails. I think I saw her lifting a few boxes at the corner.
"Uh, is that how it seems?" I asked, smiling awkwardly.
I wasn't very good with conversations with girls. I could say I grew nervous and uncomfortable when talking to them.
"Of course." She said and drew closer. "They had their eyes on you every chance they got, that it was hard not to notice."
I darted my eyes aside. Guess it was that noticeable if a person at the corner got to notice it.
But it wasn't a big deal. I mean, the models had to keep their eyes on the photographer, right?
"My name is Lee Doha. We'll be working together from now on." She said, honestly stretching her hand out for a handshake.
I slowly took it and introduced myself.
"I'm Lee Dongwoo." I answered and her eyes sparkled.
"Whoa, we both bear the same last names." She said. "It must be fate."
"Haha, I guess so."
I was a bit uncomfortable but it wasn't entirely because of the fact that Doha was a girl but also because of the cold glare I was getting from my back.
If I interpreted it carefully, it was a jealous cold glare. Did Doha have a boyfriend in the set? Is that why I was getting attacked by cold glares?
I couldn't ask such a personal question and be misunderstood so I decided to end the conversation there.
"Alright, Mrs Doha. I'll just go over there." I said and started sneaking away.
Gosh, I didn't want to be part of someone's drama.
"Well, see you at the dinner party." She said and I paused.
"Dinner party?" I turned to look at her and she smiled brightly.
"Yeah. It's a party to celebrate you for joining our crew. Welcome to the crew."
I was stunned.
Was such a thing like that possible? Why would they throw a party for me? I... Was I worth such a thing?
I felt warm inside and my lips subconsciously curled up and I smiled, genuinely happy.
"Thank you." I said.
Doha and the people around were stunned to see me smile. I guess I had been a bit stiff since I arrived there.
Well, was my smile horrible? I would try not to smile too much in the future. Can't scare them and...
"Wow," Doha exclaimed and I saw the stun in her eyes. Then, she smiled and said, "You should smile more often."
"Tha-"
I once again felt the cold glare behind me. Ugh, I really needed to stay away from other people's girlfriends.
I will not subject myself to any drama.
