Everyone present stared at Danzo.
It is taboo for all ninja clans to plot against the bloodline limits and secret teachings of other clans.
If what Uchiha Setsuna said is true, then...
A chill rushed into the top of their heads.
Seeing the scenario he was placed in, Danzo sternly said, word for word. "I, did, not!"
"Since there is nothing, why don't you untie the bandage?" Uchiha Setsuna immediately asked back.
Sarutobi Hiruzen coughed heavily, successfully attracting everyone's attention.
"The reason why Danzo is wrapped in bandages is related to the secret of the Shimura clan."
However, in contradiction to what they thought, instead of backing down, Uchiha Setsuna pressed even further, not giving Danzo a chance to breathe.
"Lord Hokage, if the thing hidden under Shimura Danzo's bandage is really related to the secret of the Shimura clan, then we'll happily subject ourselves to the Memory-Erasing Technique."
"Excuse me!" Another female advisory elder, Utatane Koharu, stood up and said angrily, "Is this how you, the Uchiha clan, treat the village elders?"
"Other advisory elders, please don't change the subject. Elder Danzo Shimura, if you didn't take away Shisui's eyes, why can't you remove the bandages!?"
Indeed. Why not? In the eyes of all the ninja clan leaders, who were also staring intently at Danzo, had the same question written all over them.
They also want to know the answer.
Sarutobi Hiruzen realized that he could not let the situation continue to develop, and he had to stand up.
Even if it causes a crisis in regards to trust.

Uchiha Setsuna seemed to have heard a great joke, he laughed out loud, and tears came out of his eyes. However, contrary to his expression, his eyes were glimmering with pure disdain.
"Today, the Higher Ups of Konoha simply use 'rumors' to harm our clan and plot against our family's bloodline and secrets. We have a long history deep rooted in this place and yet, they did this to us. So who's to say that they also won't use the same method tomorrow..." Uchiha Setsuna paused for a second as he gave all the nearby clan leaders a meaningful glance.
"... to attack you all."
The old and hoarse voice seems to have struck the clan leaders hard.
"Uchiha Fugaku, didn't you hear my order?" Sarutobi Hiruzen stared at Fugaku and said coldly.
The development of the situation was beyond Fugaku's expectations. He was worried that excessive intimidation would lead to more serious consequences, so he whispered: "Elder if there is anything, let's go back and talk about it first."
Uchiha Setsuna ignored Fugaku. He straightened his old body and stared at the Konoha's officials: "Third Hokage, Shimura Danzo, you could try to send someone to kill me as you did to Shisui."
"But justice! Can't be killed!!!"
After saying this, he glanced at Fugaku and said disdainfully: "What a disgrace." After saying that, he turned around and left the room with his trusted guards.
Uchiha Fugaku followed behind with his face turning pale.
All the clan leaders looked at each other, laughed dryly, and stood up to leave as well.
Everyone realized that an unprecedented storm was brewing in Konoha!
Maybe it will explode and destroy everything. Maybe it will disappear peacefully and everything will go back to normal.
No one can truly tell.
Danzo looked at the conference room that had suddenly become empty, his face was livid.
"We must get rid of the Uchiha Clan now!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen glanced at Danzo. He paused, pondering if he should actually say it, but seconds later, he finally opened his mouth and said "No. Not now."
"That old guy, Uchiha Setsuna will detonate the Uchiha bomb prematurely! The village cannot afford such a price."
Shimura Danzo has his reasons.
Not long after the end of the Third Ninja World War, the Nine-Tails Incident broke out in Konoha, causing serious trauma to the village.
A large number of outstanding jonin and chunin were killed, so much so that Konoha has not recovered to this day.
They could not afford the heavy price of a civil war with the Uchiha.
Sarutobi Hiruzen rebuked him dissatisfiedly.
"Because of your stupidity, we are now in a passive position. Our every move now will be magnified infinitely by others. You can touch the Uchiha clan at any time! But not now!"
"Are we just going to sit here and watch then?"
The Third Hokage did not want his friend to make the situation worse, so he explained. "We will use Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Itachi to stabilize the Uchiha clan and reduce their vigilance."
"Hiruzen, the longer we wait, the greater the uncertainty."
"Moving them now will only make things worse!"
Because of what happened, all the ninja clans were now staring at the Uchihas. Regardless of whether it would succeed or not, this action alone would trigger a series of reactions. Konoha was a political system formed by the union of multiple ninja clans.
Although the management has great power, it does not mean that the Clan leaders can be simply ordered by anyone.
They cannot make a reckless move unless Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzo are willing to let themselves and their families be buried with the Uchiha.
At that point, Konoha will be on the verge of disintegration.
Danzo was furious and said, "Hiruzen, you will come to regret this decision!"
"I will really regret it if I let you do it!" Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at him coldly. "No one is allowed to touch the Uchihas without my order!"
After receiving a look from Sarutobi, Utatane Koharu, and Mitokado Homura stood up tacitly to chase Danzo and try to persuade him with kind words.
After they left, Hiruzen summoned an Anbu.
Meanwhile, inside the interrogation room.
"I've thought about it," Genno raised his head and stared at Kayn "As long as you are willing to let me blow up the Hokage Rock, I will hand over the control method of the explosive array."
Kayn flatly rejected his offer upon hearing it.
"Sure. I will blow it up, but not now."
Blowing up the Hokage Rock now would have an adverse effect on his next plan.
"In fact, our positions are fundamentally the same." Kayn smiled warmly: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
"The people who ordered the attack on Kagero Village were Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzo. They are your real enemies."
"They are your enemies, and they are our enemies as well."
Albeit believable, Genno remained persistent however.
"No matter what you say, I want to see you blow up the Hokage Rock first, otherwise, even if I die, I will not hand over anything."
He could sense Genno's urgency in detonating the talisman array, and he believed that the other party would make the right choice.
Kayn wanted to say something, but Kamakura, who was guarding the door, suddenly walked in, whispering something in his ear. Kayn's pupils shrank, and the corners of his mouth rose unconsciously.
He now knew the result of the meeting that had just occurred.
Sarutobi Hiruzen would most likely not take action against the Uchiha clan... For now!
The time for the Night of Slaughter has been temporarily postponed!
The changes in Kayn's expression did not escape Genno's observation.
He had a bad feeling.
Sure enough, Kayn's next words confirmed his premonition.

Hearing the sly old man speak, Kayn couldn't help himself but laugh a little.
"Negotiation requires capital. Only when both parties are equal can it be called a cooperation." Kayn said with a tough attitude. "Senior Genno, it is obvious that you are not qualified to negotiate with me now."
"... However, I will give you one LAST chance. This is truly the last so think hard about how you answer."
"Cooperate with us, and I will let you and the survivors of Kagero Village live. Heck, we might even bring all of them here to live with you if all things were to go well. However, If you don't cooperate with us," Kayn's clear eyes reflected Genno's old appearance. He said coldly in a gentle voice.
"Before our battle with Konoha, we will completely wipe out all traces of the Kageno Village in this world."
"Nothing. Left. Behind." Kayn said as he shot Genno a pretty meaningful look. Indicating the intent behind his words.
Hearing all that, Genno was made silent for a couple of seconds.
Looking very deep in thought.
Only after that, did he finally choose to speak up.
"Fine... I will cooperate."
"Good choice."
Kayn heaved a sigh of relief. It was quite difficult to act in front of a double agent.
Fortunately, everything went well.
Cause the second trump card, has finally been acquired.
