Chapter 194: No Place Untouched  

The second my armor activated, I initiated the camouflage mode and stopped running.

The phantoms rushed by me, unable to see me and I took a lot of satisfaction in seeing them spinning around in confusion as they tried to find me again. But you know what? I was sick of it all.

I was tired of dancing to their tune and doing what they wanted simply because I agreed that an entire planet shouldn't be punished for the actions of a few.

But they betrayed me first. They turned my mates away from me when I needed them the most, so fuck them.

I turned my cheek, I bowed my head, and it got me nowhere. Then again, I guess I had bowed my head to the wrong male.

There was no use crying about it at the moment. Now, I had to do everything I could to protect myself and the lives inside of me that depended on me.
