Unlike the first time, I was fully expecting the darkness that the cover brought to the water, but I don't think my mates were.
"Is there any way I can contact them?" I asked Gabriel, just realizing a downfall to being in the water with everyone. I could barely see my hand in front of my face without the help of the night vision that the helmet had. I was worried that I might lose one or more of the males and not be able to find them again for a while.
"Connecting you to their personal communication devices," answered Gabriel. "And I think we are going to have a problem in a little bit."
"Does it have anything to do with the Kraken?" I sighed.
"No," Gabriel assured me, and I nodded my head.
"Then let's not invite more trouble at the moment. If it's not an imminent problem, let me deal with this first."
