Chapter 2: CHAPTER I: The Day of Doom

DESTRUCTION is always the easiest option for all leaders to solve every worldly conflict, enforce power, or eliminate perceived threats. In fact, it does provide a swift resolution to a conflict, as it decisively removes opposition and asserts dominance. Undoubtedly, China has that power to make powerless country like the Philippines, when it comes to armory, to tremble on its legs. Also, some leaders, especially those lacking diplomatic skills or facing extreme pressure like China, opting for destruction can seem like a straightforward solution compared to the complexities of negotiation and compromise.

Philippines is trying to resolve the conflict in peace as much as their leader can try, but as hardheaded country like China, seems can't see the main reason for it.

Destruction might seem like an easy option to some leaders because of its immediate and visible impact, but it is rarely the best or most effective long-term solution. Effective leadership typically involves exploring all avenues for peaceful resolution and considering the broader consequences of their actions. However, what China is about to do is off the table.

"zhǔn bèi fā shè (Prepare to launch)." Commander of the central military commission is sitting on the table with the highest body of military command in China, waiting for a command. The central military commission is chaired by the President of China, who is also the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China. It is also responsible for overall military policy, including the use of nuclear weapons.

"wǔ (five)… sì (four)… sān (three)… èr (two)… yī (one)—" Everything went black… followed by a continuous hissing, static noise, like the sound of a radio or television when there is no signal.

The bombs are released from aircrafts and begins its descent towards the target—Philippines. Mostly, it equipped with a parachute to slow its fall or guided by precision targeting system, but this time, there isn't one. Upon reaching its target, the bomb impacts the ground. The detonation releases an immense amount of energy almost instantaneously. It releases in three primary forms: a powerful shockwave travels outward from the explosion, causing severe damages to structures and creating massive explosions that flatten buildings and devasted large areas.

A bright, blinding fireball forms, expanding rapidly. This fireball vaporizes everything within its immediate vicinity and causes secondary fires and thermal damage over a wider area. The explosions create a towering mushroom-shaped cloud composed of dust, debris, and radioactive particles. Cloud rises high into the atmosphere, spreading radioactive fallout over a broad region, on wind patterns. Radioactive debris from the explosion settles back to Earth over time, contaminating the environment. This fallout will cause long-term ecological damage and pose health risks to people who are exposed.

If to consider the concept that hell might be a reflection of humanity itself, it could be argued that the suffering and turmoil of humanity experience are manifestations of their collective flaws and the darker aspects of their nature. In this perspective, hell isn't a physical realm but rather a state of being that is deeply rooted in the human condition.

Humanity often grappling with profound moral and ethical challenges—greed, hatred, and cruelty—that contribute to widespread suffering. These elements create a metaphorical "hell" on Earth, where the consequences of their actions lead to pain, injustice, and fighting. War, poverty, and inequality could be seen as reflections of this internal hell, driven by their own choices and faults.

Moreover, their capacity for self-destruction and the impact of their actions on others can prolong a cycle of suffering. In this view, hell is not a distant, abstract place but an ongoing experience shaped by their collective human behavior. The struggles they face and the suffering they endure may be the direct result of the moral and ethical failings inherent in humanity.

Thus, if hell were to be defined by the state of humanity, it would highlight the need for introspection and transformation. It would call for a re-examination of their values and actions to mitigate the suffering they inflict upon themselves and others, aiming for a world where compassion, justice, and understanding prevail over the darker aspects of their nature.

The destruction from a nuclear explosion is catastrophic, with immediate loss of life, severe injury, and long-term environmental and health consequences. All of this devastation is a result of human actions.

Twelve hours after the attacked…
