Chapter 260: The Pig Monster

Amidst ruins, falling rocks and chaos Fanir arrived flapping his wings. Cassandra and Siroos climbed on his back; he swept them away, dodging falling debris—his destination, Dusartine. 

Siroos just held her to his chest, her back pressed into his hard muscles as his strong arms wrapped tightly around her. 

A satisfying hum connected them through the bond. 

"I am proud of you, Cassa." 

"And me of you, let's go home. I wish to sleep in your arms." She pressed herself more into him as her wings shot out and they vanished, only to appear right outside their dwelling. 

Ranon and Faris were just outside when they landed. Their faces blended into smiles of astonishment as they cast their eyes on the couple who had arrived on the back of a gryphon.
