Chapter 242: The Oath Is No More

Others seemed confused and passed curious glances at each other to try and understand what was going on, but Cassandra understood. She could sense Sahli's emotions, and there were so many at that moment. Cassandra leaned closer to Siroos and whispered.

"That's her lover. The Goddess of jealousy had turned him into a hound and was using him against her, what a vicious goddess." 

Siroos sadly shook his head at that sad fate. 

Sahli quickly took off her upper gown and covered the naked, unconscious man; she was barely holding back tears at that point. Her face behind the veil had hardened as her hands shook when she touched the love of her life. She had thought she had lost him but he was in front of her all along.
