Chapter 144: Her Chamber

"Ma! How are you feeling?" Both sons rushed to their mother and helped her sit up. Faris fetched water and helped her take a sip from the earthen pot. 

Once she had stabilised a bit and her heartbeat normalised, she faced her sons. They were curiously watching her with hints of curiosity coating their faces. But they held their tongues, not trying to overwhelm her. 

"It was Aylin after she spoke through me. She revealed Cassandra's true identity and how she is connected with Aylin and Arkiam." Haylia told her sons, her body slowly trembled from the overwhelming experience she had gone through. 

"That makes so much sense. We can guess that Arkiam was not pleased with Asara falling in love with a mortal and cursed him and his whole pack," Faris thought out aloud, tapping his hand on his bent knee.
