Chapter 132: Chapter 132 : Plan Begins
After making sure that Shika was completely under his control, Danzo went away, leaving Shika with a curse mark on his tongue and still shackled down to the same chair.
The chakra-suppressing seals were still on him, and he was left alone in the dark cellar all alone until Danzo order him to start his assassination mission.
But unknown to him, there was someone watching him right now.
"Tch…are you done, get up already ?" came voice of an impatient teenager. He stood there with his hands on his pant pocket and his eyes were red.
"Yeah… just waiting for them to figure out where they are keeping Karin…" Shika who had his head down upto now suddenly rise it and looked at the boy.
"Are you sure you wanna do this, this could go real wrong and then you too will be assign as a rogue nin…" Shika asked one last time to the boy with the same eyes as his. This was none other than Sasuke.
Sasuke all this time was hiding in Shika's shadow, at first when he learned that Shika can do this, even he was surprise, once again glaring at Shika with the same look of trying to see through him, but no matter how many time he try, he couldn't.
"Tch… don't asked me again and again, its annoying. I am coming and its final. And Danzo is my to kill." Sasuke said with an annoyed tone.
Remember when Shika said that he had few places to be just after he got out of the Hokage office, the first place he went was of course to meet with Hinata but then the next place was to meet this guy here.
"You come and asked me whether I wants to or not, so now don't back off, if you are not going through this then I will." Sasuke said with Sharingan clear in his eyes, rotating.
Shika heard this and just frowned. After meeting with Hinata, he went to meet this guy, wondering whether he was interested in knowing what happen back then and who was responsible.
Shika knew that after his real power comes out, those elders will target him, he was ready for that. In fact he plan to not wait for them to come for him. He plan to take them out first.
"Got it." Shika reply with a helpless look on his face, he did asked him to come only becuase Sasuke won't get any stronger inside the village right now when Orochimaru don't exist. But this guy was a little too eager to kill those elders for some reasons. He don't get it, did he already know that it was those elders, Shika at least made sure he never named anyone particular.
"What about those other elders." Sasuke asked suddenly, this made Shika even more sure that this guy knew something.
"My clones will take care of them." Shika reply without any hesitation. When it comes to assassination, he was the best, maybe only second to the like of Obito at this point.
With the ability to hide in shadows and travel in shadows, he was a bane for those sensor's, maybe he could give Kakuzu a run for his money if he enter into this business later on. Maybe ?
"How did you resist that Genjutsu…" Just as Shika was about to asked for Sasuke's help to bring him out of those seals and shackles, thought he didn't needed it but why not if he was just gonna stand there leisurely with his hands in his pocket, Sasuke himself open his mouth to asked this.
'So he was paying attention huh ?' Shika thought with a narrow eyes. To bring Sasuke here, Shika had to put him in his shadow, of course he knew what was going on outside.
Meaning he already know Danzo had Sharingan…
'If so… then why he is so fucking calm…? Is he is the same Sasuke from the anime ? or maybe he didn't saw the Sharingan, he should have felt the strong chakra but surely didn't saw the Sharingan right?" Shika ponder.
"My eye power is strong enough to resist it…" Shika just shrugged, he wouldn't have dared to do somthing like this with just normal Sharingan in his possession earlier but now …
Now he have Rinnegan… a fucking Rinnegan. He might not have use this thing in a proper fight yet but he can feel just how fucking powerful this thing is, just the passive from this thing alone is too much overpowered, no wondered that Pain thought that he was a god.
Again this level of pupil power, even Mangekyo Genjutsu is nothing. Not to mention, the eye Danzo had was faulty to begin with, the real deal was taken by Itachi.
"I am more surprise to see that you haven't turn into a Biju rampaging and going after Danzo by now ?" Shika asked with his eye brows raised.
"Hm…you were the one who said to not act on my emotions." Sasuke acting like a Tsundere turn his head, but this was making Shika even more sure that something was wrong. This wasn't the Sasuke he remember.
Calm and collected, he was more acting like Itachi then Sasuke.
"Come on then, let's get moving. Remember we can't let anyone be alive. Kill everyone." Shika said and then suddenly powerful pressure releases from him. The Chakra suppression seals were render useless. And his shackles were broken and his seals were lifted.
Sasuke once again glance over to Shika, narrow in his eyes, he could have swear that just now, that wasn't chakra.
The pressure was something else entirely, but he refraim from asking this, right now wasn't the time.
"HM… lets go." Sasuke nodded and the next second both of them were gone.

Just as this was happening, almost the entire Root was under the surveillance of Shika's clone. Many of his clones have already entered into the shadows of the some of the root shinobi. Ready to take action.
As for how he made so many clones active at the same time. Well simple enough, he didn't made them right now, he had them store up just in case a situation like this rise someday. And when it comes to back slash, that too he handle it with few simple binding vows.
However, he still had to put some of his summons on the work to find Karin.
That was the only part of his plan which didn't went right. He didn't calculate Karin in his plan seeing how she was under Guy and well protected.
He was wrong, so before he attack Danzo and end this Darkness once and for all, he he has to find that girl first.

Chapter 133: Chapter 133 : Rescue Karin
The plan had to be modified to keep up with the changes of the current situation, though Shika plan was almost flawless, he didn't anticipated that Danzo will kidnap Karin.
Karin was no one important to him, they just meet few months ago, but that can be said to literally anyone in this world. He haven't spend much time with her either, but still he didn't wanted the girl to suffer anymore if he can help it.
In the cannon, he only barely known her story but after coming here, after learning the truth from her own mouth, Shika realized that her story was even worst then he could think.
Maybe it was pity that drove him or he just geniunely wanted to help the girl, he didn't let her go back to that demonic village which kill her mother and would most likely would have done the same to her.
When he did that, he took the responsibility to look after her at least until she is big enough. Now there was no way that he would just leave behind her just liket his.
So, the plan was delayed slightly. All over the root base, Shika's clone started to search for Karin until one clone ended up finding her true location.
"We got her, Sasuke we are going to start the offense now. What are you gonna do." Shika stopped as he got the information from his clone and then asked Sasuke.
"Danzo... he is mine." Sasuke said with a calm voice, but there was barely visible anger and hatred lingering into his tone.
Shika again was uncomfortable seeing how different Sasuke was acting, definately the way he should have acted but why so suddenly ?
He wanted to asked, wanted to know, part curiosity and part wariness but he hold himself back. Right now wasn't the time. At least he could tell that Sasuke was on his side, there was no way with that face that this guy was playing double agent.
"Fine, then lets go. Time to root this darkness out and tell him whose domain he dwells in. " Shika smile a little, punching that bastard was the only thing running inside his head right now.

"What is going on ? why there is no sign of those on the outer patrol ?". One of the Root shinobi asked when they got there for the change of shift. Another good reason for building the root base underground was that this place had many link routes which were hard to navigate until one have previously map it out.
This was another reason why Shika needed to get inside the root base first, while he was inside his clones were mapping out the entire area.
And now that Shika had a idea of the entire Root base and even know where Karin was. It was time act.
While he himself with Sasuke went directly towards Danzo's office, the rest of the Root members were left to his clones and Shikigami's.
"No reply yet, there is something wrong. Go and report quickly."
The root member was about to rush but then he found himself not being able to move at all. Like something was keeping him planted on his place.
"Hey, why you are not goi...ahahahaaaaaa." other root shinobi was saying but in between he started to shout, and just in few seconds those loud shouts were also gone.
Only the sound of chirping and small animals in a group eating echoed.
"Rabbits...run... there are rabbits here."
"Huh ?"
"They are eating him..."
"What !"
Someone tried to shout but his end was not much different then from the man earlier.
From the shadow's came out many clones of Shika. Root shinobi were veiling in pain when suddenly all there moments were restricted all of the sudden as shadow started to cover the ground and creatures started to attack them.
They were defenceless, and couldn't do anything. And when there weren't much any shikigami eating them alive or charging at them, they kept on dying due to clone of Shika coming of their Shadow and slithering their throats.
This Shika was different and his clone was different. With the power of Rinnegan, his overall power level have improve with a huge jump.
No wonder how powerful Sasuke was getting just becuase he got better Sharingan. Its not just the hax which Sharingan and its version give, but there is also better management of chakra, more chakra and powerful chakra plus everything which a doujutsu provide.
Earlier it would have been hard for Shika to capture a Jonin or an Elite Jonin in his shadow but now... even his clone was able to capture them in their shadow.
Though part of the reason was that he sneak attack them and didn't give them time to break free in the fist place.
Both Shika's clones and Shikigami's were destroying the reverse root members, in times like this that Shika realized just how overpowered his abilities could be if only he use them right.
The ability to hide in once's shadow and being able to do Binding Vow alone was enough to pull of what he was doing here.
Hiding in shadow, he realized that hardly anyone can find him, maybe this wouldn't be the case in Jujutsu Kaisen world as people their could sense his Curse energy but here. No one can find him.
This especially is the case because his body use curse energy when anything related to Ten Shadow or Jujutsu and uses Chakra when he use Ninjutsu.
As for binding vow, those things come really handy when he was making all this clones. For someone like Naruto making this many clone might be nothing but this was almost an year worth of chakra for him.
With few well place binding vows, he was able to make more clones and avoid the back lash of when those clone pop as their memories won't come to him. There are downsides like he won't get their memories or chakra, and majority of the clones power are block in exchange of enhancement in their shadow technique and assassination technique.
Aka... Their is a lot of potential which he has yet to explore...
However, not all the clones were taking out the root members or created for just killing. Some had even more important job to do, they moved stealthily, keeping low to avoid any attention. Goal was clear: find and rescue Karin. After minutes of silent maneuvering, he finally spotted her—lying unconscious, bound by chakra-suppressing restraints.
The clone quickly dispelled the bindings, lifting Karin into a seated position. "Karin," he whispered, gently shaking her shoulder. Slowly, she stirred, blinking her eyes open as she took in her surroundings, still groggy from whatever method the Root had used to keep her subdued.
"Shika?" she murmured, confused but clearly relieved to see him.
"It's just a clone," he explained softly, helping her to her feet. "The real me and Sasuke are making our way to Danzo right now. Come on we are moving out of here, this place.... no this village now is dangerous to stay?"
Karin nodded, Though it felt like she wasn't yet fully awake, that bastard Danzo drugged her ? that was going inside the clone's mind but he didn't had the luxury to find that out now. So he just pick her up, pretty much princess carrying her, and make a bee line out of there with Karin in his hands.
Meanwhile, in a different corridor, the real Shika moved swiftly with Sasuke by his side. They navigated through the maze-like passageways, if not for his earlier caution to map the entire place, they would have been no better than a certain moss head swordsman by now.
"Almost there," Shika muttered to Sasuke, his voice low but focused.
"Be caution from here on, surely the guards he will have with him would be the best men among his root. Stay vigilant." Shika reminded him.
