Chapter 80: Chapter 80 : Sasuke
Despite how much I thought about it, training with Jiraiya was still training, even after the timely comedic relive from Jiraiya and Naruto's antics. Learning Seals was boring.
I kept on working under Jiraiya in the morning while my clones at this time did training while others didn't know.
I literally had no other work to do besides training at this point. My talent in seals was just that, average, nothing groundbreaking as Minato's. There ain't any way that I'm impressing Jiraiya anytime soon.
He was more focused on training Naruto and making him use Nine Tail Chakra anyway. I am also sure that at this time he must have talked with the Hokage, about what to exactly teach me and why.
That was the only reason he kept on teaching me, otherwise, it's very unusual for one of the Sanin to take a student under them.
"Hey, Shika… what are you learning." Naruto finally decided to take a little break after his crazy training, honestly if only I had one-third of his chakra or stamina.
He looked curious seeing I was reading the moment I came there, and even under Jiraiya I was doing the same.
"I am learning Fuinjutsu… " I reply not even looking at him while saying this.
"Ohhh…what it does ?" Naruto asked with curiosity.
"This is how the tenant inside you is kept from wreaking havoc, from transportation convenience to real power, seals could do many things," I reply but those words at the start made Naruto wince. Naruto's face was looking dark and he was looking a little worried right now.
Like worried that Shika knows this, which he had no idea how he knew in the first place, others will know too and the little comradeship he has, he will lose all that too.
I purposefully bring that up, saying to Naruto that I know about his secret.
Seeing him wince under what I said I can't help but sigh and then say.
"Naruto…" I said with a little commanding tone.
Naruto who was looking a little down or a little hesitant just knowing that someone knew his secret, looked up at with with a hesitant look.
"I am not very familiar with you, that I must admit…
You are sometimes a little annoying and an idiot."
That clearly infuriates the orange boy. But he didn't reply anything he just again put his head down and just listened to what I had to say.
This was my time to form a bond with him, if nothing then a person who recognizes him and he can call a friend. Of course, it was for my benefit but that doesn't mean that I didn't want to be friends with him, he was a little annoying in real life but in anime and my past life, he was one of my favourite characters.
"However… that what makes you… you.
Make no mistake Uzumaki Naruto. The fox is the fox and you are you.
You are not the fox, and if anyone says otherwise then they are an idiot." I said with a smile on my face to which Naruto immediately perked up.
"Shika…"
"For me, you are Naruto Uzumaki, a shinobi of the leaf, a comrade and a friend. So I personally don't care what is inside you. You will remain a friend to me. So don't go around thinking that you are alone okay…" I said as I got up… patted his shoulder and moved on, that was the most I could say…
Anything more and I might mess up.
I didn't see Naruto's face at that time but I was sure that I did notice a little wetness in his eyes. Though the boy was really good at hiding that.
Thus training kept on going, it was boring, but at least physical training was not this troublesome as Seals. Learning seals is like trying to do Math. But this time, it's only that none of the rules or formulas are given to us.
It's mostly venturing into foreign ground for any seal master.
Sigh
Some time later I finally got the time to work on another plan which I was thinking about. Training is fine and all but there is always a limitation on how much a person can do and grow.
To really get stronger, I need help, more like comrades who can help me in my plan for the future.
There is no doubt that I had to fight with Pain, Obito and Madara in the future. So I have to start planning from now on. And this guy who I wanna meet is the person who I believe can help me in this.
I long wanted to come visit him but due to the unwanted attention he was getting from a certain snake Sannin, he was under observation from Anbu.
It's only now that this has ended. I can't say why but this was the right time to talk with him.

Sasuke was training, and after his defeat against Shika, he threw himself into training with no rest. He was like this even before this but now the situation was worse, to the point Kakashi and Sakura were worried for him.
"I lost to literally a nobody." That was the only thing he muttered whenever he thought about his fight with Shika.
'Why? Why did I lose? I have worked so hard since that day. Then why… Why I am so weak?
In comparison, Naruto….he won his match and now he will participate in the Chunin exams.' Sasuke thought and gritted his teeth.
After a day of hard training and pretty much breaking his body. He went back home, tired now.
But just as he entered his house he noticed something, there was a presence in his house.
He lived alone, there shouldn't be anyone here right now, but there was someone and he wasn't even concealing his presence.
Sasuke slowly took out a kunai and slowly moved forward, as soon as he entered his own room he saw a familiar figure in front of him. But more than anything, he saw these eyes, those bloodshot red eyes staring back at him.
His mind went slag for a second, remembering what happened all those years ago, what that man did.
"Itachi." Sasuke all but roared and wanted to rush at the man in front of him to kill him but he found that he couldn't move anymore.
"Sigh, you need to control your emotions Sasuke…" came the reply as Sasuke was struggling to move but to no avail. Just before he reopened his, now-sealed cursed mark, the man with those accursed eyes who was staring at him finally came out of the shadow, and the face that he was expecting to see wasn't the one he saw then.
"You need to calm down…I don't have much time to spend here, need to talk about something important with you." I said to the avenger with my Sharingan flaring at him.

Yup, going that route. A little manipulation on the second protagonist doesn't sound that bad right.

Chapter 81: Chapter 81 : Uchiha
Sasuke seeing the man who had Sharingan in his eyes was both startled and confused because according to him the only person besides him who should technically have Sharingan is Itachi Uchiha.
However, there was the boy who just beat him a few days ago, staring back at him with Sharingan in his eyes. Sasuke was confused, and still now even unknowingly he was struggling.
"Calm down, I know what you are thinking… look at my eyes carefully. Are they like his ?" Shika replies seeing Sasuke still not calming down… He knew that there would be a violent reaction from Sasuke seeing Sharingan but this was too much.
Good thing that he places silencing seals around the place. But if Sasuke doesn't calm down then his coming here and showcasing his Sharingan will be pointless.
Sasuke was too shocked to even open his curse mark at this time, in fact, it might have opened automatically if it was not sealed but that doesn't mean that it can't be opened, it's just harder to open right now.
But after what Shika said he finally calmed down and noticed that indeed the eyes were not exactly like the one he was expecting, it was Sharingan no doubt but it was two tomoes on one side and one tomoe on the other side.
He even thought that he was under Genjutsu but even his Sharingan was open right now and he couldn't feel any disturbance in his chakra at all.
So there is no way the boy in front of him can fake his eyes.
That means there are two ways to have it, one him being a Uchiha which is near next impossible and the other that he took that pair of eyes from a Uchiha.
Sasuke once again started to get angry thinking this but before that Shika closed his Sharingan in front of him, turning his eyes into his normal black one, stopping Sasuke's train of thought then and there.
"They are not transplanted, they are mine, you must know that it's not possible to turn them off if they are transplanted right…" Shika replied while slowly removing his shadow binding which was holding him, only now that Sasuke saw it that he realised that he was bound by Shadow jutsu. Another proof that the person in front of him was not Itachi.
"Speak." That was the only thing Sasuke said, though he himself was too much in shock to say anything more right now.
"Long story, come inside and sit." Shika didn't reply to Sasuke directly and motioned Sasuke to come inside.
Seeing this, Sasuke looked hesitant, still not processing the fact that Shika had a Sharingan.
"Come on, we have much to talk" Seeing Sasuke still taking too much time, Shika said irritatedly.
He really didn't have too much time here, he still had to go back and train in sealing after this.

"I know you have too many questions, so ask one by one, I will answer the best way I can, in return I only asked that you listen to what I have to say after that," Shika said as both Sasuke and he sat down face to face, ready to talk.
Sasuke who had too many questions immediately wanted to ask all of them but when he got the chance he found himself hesitating.
There was something inside him which was making him hesitant, the feeling that he might be not alone, that he was not the only one left in the clan.
But Sasuke didn't dare to think too much about this, he didn't want to be disappointed.
"Are you a Uchiha ?" Sasuke finally asked.
"Maybe… " Shika almost immediately replied, he had already done his homework before coming here, and he thought of every and all the questions that Sasuke could ask him and come up with answers.
Sasuke hearing this answer wasn't looking happy, narrowing his eyes he was about to ask another thing but before that Shika replied.
"I didn't know that I once one until I opened my eyes. It happened in one of my solo missions.
Just like you, I too didn't have any idea why suddenly this happened so I ended up looking at my parentage, my mother is the current Nara clan head's cousin so there is no doubt about my mother.
My uncle told me that my father was also from the Nara clan, though both of my parents died just a few months after I was born.
So now with these eyes open, I am having a hard time believing that my father was indeed from Nara clan." Shika replies while internally apologizing to his dead father in this world.
Sasuke hearing this shut his mouth and remained quiet for some time, still not believing in Shika, but what he was seeing in front of him was hard to deny, the body did have Sharingan. Seeing that his eyes were completely tuned to his body, even Sasuke doubted that they were transplanted.
"Why didn't you use your Sharingan against me in the fight ?" Sasuke asked, this was one question that Shika wasn't expecting that much, he knew that Sasuke would ask this but not so early in the conversation.
"I didn't want others to know that I am half Uchiha. I have my reason which I will tell you later, for now, carry on with any other questions which you might have." Shika reply.
Sasuke hearing this frowned, for him being a Uchiha is a topic of pride, he at least takes pride in being a Uchiha. So this answer from Shika didn't sit well with him.
"Why reveals your identity to me then ?" Sasuke asked with clear disdain for Shika again.
"Ah, again something will be explained soon in my explanation about my visit today…" Shika was still nonchalant for the most part and this made Sasuke snort.
"Any more questions ?" Asked Shika.
"None, just say what you are here for ." Said Sasuke with clear irritation on his face.
