I shot through the night air, wind in my hair, the feeling of frrdom washing over me. it felt so good to be free these days. You might be asking what Imean by thet, but that's a story for another day.
In no time I landed beside Zack's car outside the school. Afew seconds later, Zack landed infront.
''Ha, I won'' I said smugly. He just gaped at me and I remembered my majesictic wings were still out. I closed my eyes and inhaled and they retracted into my back. Vanishing from sight.
''Um'' Zack cleared his throat when he realized he had been staring openly.
''Nice wings''
;;Thanks'' I said a little awkwardly.
He snapped out of it and opened the passenger door for me.
''After you''
I just smirked and got in the car. Zack was soon seated beside me in the driver's seat and we were off.
After some minutes I finally broke the tension.
''Still not gonna tell me where we aere heading?''
''Nope''
''A clue?''
''Not even a clue. So, tell me about yourself. How's life? How's the life of a fae, I mean.''
I just shrugged.
''Okay, I guess''
''Do you guys use like, wands and stuff?
I smacked him in the shoulder.
''Well, do you guys burn under the sun?'' I retorted.
''Well, no. Not really burn, but it's really painful sometimes''
