Chapter 8: Teachers
Cui Wen followed the cultivator taking a stroll around the mountain. He received several confused looks alongside some sisters admiration.
"Are we there yet?" Cui Wen finally said after walking around for what seems to be an hour.
"Y-yes.. it should be up here.." The cultivator replied with unease.
"Hmm?" Cui Wen suddenly murmured,
A huge flat opening appeared out of nowhere on the mountain with buildings.
"Here.." The cultivator motioned with his hands wondering if he could go now.
"Leave." Cui Wen said and admired the nearby architecture. There were several buildings with higher floors and a huge courtyard probably able to accommodate five thousand people at once.

"That fucking brat! I will return this humiliation tenfold! No hundredfold!" He told himself and took out the relic issued by the academy.
"Senior Brother, how much if I want a person dead?" The cultivator asked with clenched fists.
"Four thousand Xi Jades." The voice plainly said in response.
"Ugh... fine! I will give you it now!" The man eventually agreed after thinking about the downsides.
This humiliation would probably stunt his cultivation growth in the future, he had to get rid of it.
"Description?" The voice continued.
"Senior Brother the kid had a black robe with golden lining. He also looked super young.." the cultivator said in remembrance.
"I will see what I can do." The voice finally replied ending the communication.

"Call the Shadow Association, I have a target to be taken care of." The man Gu Han informed his subordinates.
"Haha! What an idiot, he gave me 4 thousand for a simple newbie? Life is so easy." Gu Han remarked, having the position of a vice leader of the Golden Palm association life was easy.

Cui Wen entered one of the buildings and saw an older female cultivator in the distance.
"Hello Sister? Are you a teacher?" He asked bluntly towards the seemingly cold woman.
"Who are you? A trespasser?!" She exclaimed in anger.
"Of course not Sister, I'm but a simple transfer student." Cui Wen responded looking her dead in the eyes.
"Who the hell is this kid? Golden Core Middle!" She thought to herself in a little bit of shock.
They continued making eye contact until she asked.
"Paper." The woman held out her jadelike hand.
"Here, Sister" Cui Wen responded giving her the paper while also touching a bit of her finger.
"Hmph!" She brought her hand back after the touch Cui Wen had given her.
"Bold Brat." She thought before inspecting the paper.

The paper was simple without any unnecessary information.
"Student Cui Wen?" She said out loud.
"That's me teacher!" Cui Wen responded enthusiastically.
"Come with me." She said before looking at Cui Wen strangely.
Cui Wen nodded and followed her through the hall.
Eventually they stopped at the end of the hall in front of a sign.
"Qilin Office" it stood.
The woman opened the sliding door and stepped inside.
"Who is the teacher for 1st years?!" She shouted startling the nearby teachers.
After a few moments a middle aged looking man raised his hands.
"I am Teacher Wang Ming madam!" Wang Ming responded and hurried towards them.
"Madam? Royalty or a higher position?" Cui Wen thought seeing the startled teachers.
"This is a new student, introduce everything to him." She said before stepping out leaving Cui Wen with the teachers.
"Greetings, Teacher." Cui Wen said cupping his fists.
"Ah, yes welcome to our academy.." Wang Ming responded bringing Cui Wen to his office.
After taking a seat Wang Ming proceeded with his introduction.
"Student Cui Wen the Academy uses a universal currency called Xi Jades, for every mission, service or task you do the Academy will award Xi Jades. With the Xi Jades you could buy anything, pills, manuals, cultivation rooms you name it. A lesson will be held every 2 months to check the progress of its students. " He explained briefly.
"So am I allowed to kill people?" Cui Wen asked bluntly wanting to get to the point.
"About that.. the academy has no obligations to protect its students however it is not allowed to kill people.." Wang Ming explained.
"However there are a lot of dropouts and missing cultivators outside the academy.." He said finally.
"Oh, okay." Cui Wen understood his meaning.
"There are also student rankings with various rewards depending on where you place.
400 -> 1000+ there are no rewards.
399 -> 300 students receive a monthly income of 1000 Xi Jades.
299 -> 200 students receive a monthly income of 2000 Xi Jades.
199 -> 100 students receive a monthly income of 8000 Xi Jades.
99 -> 30 Students receive 10000 Xi Jades
29 -> 11 Students receive 15000 Xi Jades
10 -> 5 Students Receive 20000 Xi Jades
4 -> 30000 Xi Jades

"You may continue, Teacher." Cui Wen said eventually.
"So, there are various different cultivation areas and cultivation rooms in the Academy. For example the Sword Pavillion, Saber Pavilion, Elemental areas, cultivation abodes with x20 cultivation gathering speed. As mentioned these are only the most basic tools to help your journey. The more Xi Jades you have the better access to resources. There is basically everything you need here." Wang Ming finally concluded giving a basic introduction.
"I'm sure some of your friends can help you with the various other things." Wang Ming assumed finally finishing.
"Alright, I appreciate it Teacher." Cui Wen spoke like an adult.
"No worries, Student." He said seeing Cui Wen leave.
After he left a woman suddenly appeared in the room.
"Madam.." Wang Ming spoke cupping his fists.
"He is different, that boy." The madam said still not knowing what made her felt a certain way.
"Uh.. yes.." Wang Ming simply responded.
"Sigh, can you just get out?!" Wang Ming thought to himself, having the Headmasters daughter visit him twice scared him.

Finally outside Cui Wen checked the Xi device and nodded seeing Cui Wang had added him back.
"This really does like a chat from the 21st century.." Cui Wen thought to himself in a little state of shock.
"Are there more reincarnators?" Cui Wen realized this world wasn't as simple as it seems.
Shaking his head with the useless thoughts he called Cui Wang.
"Young Master Wen." He said.
"Just call me Senior Brother." Cui Wen responded.
"Of course, Senior Brother." Cui Wang responded simply.
"I am sure you must have an idea of what I will be doing, no?" Cui Wen asked continuing his descent down the mountain.
"Senior Brother, please enlighten me." Cui Wang responded. Truthfully he was more of a battle maniac and didn't know what Cui Wen was indicating.
"I will be establishing my own association, I am giving the other Cui Clansmen one offer to join. If they decline I will not be responsible for them in the future." Cui Wen eventually said.
"Understood, Senior Brother I shall join you." Cui Wang said satisfying Cui Wen.
"Good I will accept anyone for now, if you have any subordinates or loyal men they can join." Cui Wen proposed ending the call.
Cui Wen continued walking down the steps adding each Cui Clansmen.
These fellow clansmen would be the first subordinates and his start to power.
