Chapter 36: Back In Game (Part 1)

The vehicle came to a stop, and Logan stepped out to leave. Rose stood by the driver's side, her arms crossed over her chest as she handed him a phone.

"I'll be back tomorrow, same time to take you," Rose said. "Try not to be late. Also, don't have sex for the day. Widow needs you to be in your prime state for the mission."

Logan nodded, sighing internally at her words. He watched as she got back into the vehicle and drove off, leaving him alone at the entrance to the base.

Don't have sex... What am I? Casanova?

As he entered the base, something caught his attention. Three VR pods were waiting to be assembled at the center of the room.

With all the chaos surrounding Widow's revenge plan, he completely forgot about the pods scheduled for today's arrival, and it appeared they got delivered in his absence.

I wonder who dropped them off. It's not like the soldiers would be generous enough to do that.
