Chapter 14: Brewing Trouble
(I haven't dropped this, I was reading up on the rest of Chainsaw Man. Plus, I love Yoru even more than ever.)
As Sukuna had made it clear, he had come to America because he wanted to enjoy the cuisine of his homeland. The first place he took his group to was a Mexican Buffet to remind himself of his childhood.
The best thing about America was that it was a melting pot of cultures so, one would never run out of options. At a table for four, Sukuna was devouring dish after dish. It was almost like he had no end to his stomach which caused his group lots of attention.
Then again, it could be that he had four eyes or that Delta was a Devil. Most people didn't pay attention to Makima or Kobeni even though the former was the most dangerous aside from him.
As he ate some stir-fry chicken Makima took her time with her food.
"Honestly, this is quite good. I rarely have eaten Mexican food before."
He took a drink from his Mexican Coke before he spoke.
"I know, that is why I wanted to come here. I much prefer Texas cuisine to Japan. Consider it preference."
As for Delta, she took bite after bite of her food with very little care.
"IT'S GOOD!"
Her tail was wagging widely which he found adorable. He patted her on the head before he made her sit down.
"I know it is, just stay seated."
She sat down with a smile.
"Got it."
As for Kobeni, Delta forced her to stack her plate high. She was no longer as thin as before, but Delta felt she needed to eat more. She ate slowly as she didn't want to cause a mess. She was really clumsy at times and she didn't want to make a fool of herself.
She was like a small mouse which Sukuna found funny. While he was enjoying himself one thing was making this annoying. He turned his gaze and locked in on a group of three Secret Service who were tailing his group sitting in the corner.
They were dressed like civilians, but they couldn't hide from his, Makima's, or Delta's eyes. They were following them and spying on them as it seemed that they were too dangerous to be left unsupervised.
When Makima noticed his look she glanced over at the three men before turning to him.
"Want me to take care of them? I can make it seem like a heart attack."
He smirked.
"Nah, just be ready. Something is telling me that something big is going to go down soon."

While he was enjoying the nostalgia of real food, another team from the Secret Service was communicating with the President at the other end of Town. Over the phone, the leader informed the President of what was going on.
"Mr President, At the moment, Ryomen Sukuna, Makima, and the other two are merely touring Dallas. They seem to just be here on vacation and they are aware they are being followed. They are currently at a restaurant sir."
The President leaned forward as he held the phone up to his ear. Since Makima, target number one was in his country and out of Japan, this could be a chance to take her out.
While using conventional weapons would be ineffective and result in high losses, they had several trump cards. Including the 20% of the Gun Devil that America controlled could be used. If they played their cards right and used that as their weapon, they could potentially take out two high-priority targets.
It was almost perfect, too perfect so the President had a better idea before using his Trump Card.
"Keep an eye on the target, we cannot let this chance slip. I want to know where they are at all times."
"Yes, Mister President."
When the call ended, The President decided to call up the Devil Hunter Division. He would use the Contracted Devils that his country had and their best Devil Hunters to delay Makima and Sukuna.
While their Devils, Fiends, and Devil Hunters delayed them, he would then use the Gun Devul to take them both out at the same time. Every country in the world knew that Makima had to die. If they could get Sukuna who was on a similar level to her, that would be worth it.
However, he had to make sure they could not leave. Using the Devil Hunters that operated in Dallas to delay them until the strongest Hunters arrived would need to happen.

After an hour, Sukuna and his group left the restaurant before returning to their hotel room. He only rented one as it wasn't like the three girls minded his presence. Once they were all inside, he sat down on the bed before turning to Makima.
"Makima, I need you to do something?"
She smiled as she sat down next to him.
"What is it?"
"Take control over the Crows in the City and keep an eye on the spies following us and the Devil Hunters of Dallas. I would be a fool to not prepare for something as I am almost sure the American Government will try to take us out even if they have to sacrifice the entire population of Dallas."
When Kobeni heard that she felt nervous.
"What will they do?"
He knew exactly what they would do as by sacrificing one year of the lives of every American, the 20% Gun Devil was sent to Japan to kill Makima. By using many Devils and Devil Hunters, Makima was forced to become a Fiend which then possessed Aki.
That was when she was in Japan, but now that they were in America, they could do a lot more.
"My guess is they will soon be sending their secret Devil Squad here. Every country the world over is researching using Devils and Fiends in War. Sending their strongest Devils, Fiends, and Devil Hunters here to Dallas to kill me and Makima is one option.
The percentage of the Gun Devil they control is their only option to take us out unless they have one of the Primordial Devils contracted."
Makima nodded.
"The Japanese Government is in contact with the Aging Devil. They are one of the Primordial Fears but are not considered a major threat to humanity. They are very apathetic, but the other Primal Fears are not.
America, The Soviet Union, and China would most certainly have ways to contact those Devils. America for all we know could offer up something major to get their Ace In The Hole to come after the two of us."
Kobeni shivered as that seemed dangerous.
"If that happens, what happens to Dallas?"
Delta extended an open palm to Kobeni before slapping it with her other hand.
"Splat, bang, pop, death. That is what will happen."
Kobeni groaned as that didn't sound good. As for Makima she suddenly scootered over and sat down on his lap.
"While I do it, hold me ok?"
"Sure."
He wrapped his large arm around her midsection while she extended her hands and clasped them together. She began to mutter some things as her power over Control began to spread over Dallas.
The many Crows, Ravens, and other birds suddenly had their eyes gloss over as they began to fly around to keep an eye on their stalkers and the Devil Hunters that were situated in Dallas.
Once she was done, he expected her to get up, but she did not. She crossed one of her legs over the other before she looked up at him.
"You know, you bringing me to America could cause trouble."
He shrugged.
"I will simply profit from the chaos. If another war happens, I just might have to be on the side of Japan. Since my favorite Devil basically runs things."
She smirked as she ran a hand down his face.
"Your favorite Devil? Could that be me? Delta, it seems your Master has replaced you."
She was trying to start something, but she tried it on the wrong Devil. Rather than get mad, or bitter, Delta smiled.
"Master will never get rid of me. What belongs to Master can never leave him. You belong to him too."
Makima looked up again and saw him grinning.
"She is right. Don't get it twisted, I don't belong to you, you belong to me. It is a different thing."
Makima stopped smiling as it stopped being funny.
"You are really getting on my nerves."
He scoffed.
"As if, you can't have enough of me. Close your eyes for me."
She squinted her eyes, but he squeezed her a bit tighter.
"Come on, just do it. I am sure you won't regret it."
She sighed.
"Fine."
She closed her eyes and waited. Suddenly, she felt Sukuna firmly grab her chin, make her look up and he quickly kissed her. Her eyes shot open, but taking that chance he pushed his tongue into her mouth.
Kobeni who was watching flushed red watching this happening. As for Makima, her mind went blank as she felt Sukuna ravage her tongue and mouth. He pulled his lips away before licking his lips.
He winked at her with a small smile.
"How was that?"
She looked away a bit with a tiny growing blush on her face.
"I guess it wasn't bad."
He laughed as he released her allowing her to get up. Once she was off his lap, she huffed as she got some spare clothes before locking herself in the bathroom. Seeing that, Delta sat down next to him.
"Master, was she mad?"
He shook his head.
"No, she was probably just embarrassed."
Makima could hear him, but she didn't react. She just turned on the shower to cool herself down. She almost never felt this way as it just happened that Sukuna knew how to push her buttons.
While she showered, Sukuna fell on his back on the very comfy bed. He had already made sure there were no cameras, as he didn't need pictures of his girls getting out there. Delta was going to get into bed with him, but first, she walked over to Kobeni and wrapped her arms around her.
"Huh?"
She picked her up and she sat her down on Sukuna's stomach. Kobeni got bright red as he was looking up at her. He smirked as they were the same age with him being a few months older.
He sat up and he pulled her into his hold.
"How do you feel?"
Being in his large arms felt nice so she calmed down.
"Emberrased, but I don't mind you hugging me."
Delta sat down next to him proud of herself.
"See? Feels good."
Kobeni knew what she meant as while Sukuna was out, Delta was trying to get her to join 'the pack'. That was basically a harem as Delta was the Wolf Devil so she believed her Master should have the best females.
Since she liked Kobeni and her Master did too, she had to join. Makima was the equal of her Master so that was why Delta respected her. Kobeni had been so nervous about leaving Japan, that she fell asleep in his arms.
Since she was so small she barely weighed anything.
"Rest up ok?"
He gently moved her next to him before he relaxed. He would shower after Makima until then he would just watch some TV.

Since they could not get any cameras in their room, their spies had chosen one of the lower floors to keep an eye on them. Their actions however were being monitored by mice and other small critters in the walls.
However, the Devil Hunters had been contacted by the FBI and their Devil Hunter Branch. All of them were to begin to surround the hotel they were staying in. Troops were being mustered from the surrounding Bases to surround Dallas.
All the while, planes and trains housing some of the stronger Devils captured by America were being transported to the city. Sukuna was right that Dallas was going to be cut off and used as a battle ground.
If their troops, Devil Hunters, and other forces failed, they would send the Gun Devil to finish them off. However, their plan was already seen through and the crows would see this coming
