Chapter 78: Announcement

"Where are they?"

Raena could not help but anxiously tap her toes continuously as she looked for her friends. It was just like when you were in detention, and you were released late, and your friends had already gone to the cafeteria without them waiting for you. 

Except, instead of a detention, she overslept. 

That was tiring, okay?

The Great Hall buzzed with anticipation as Raena entered, her eyes sweeping over the sea of students already seated at their respective tables.

The ceiling above reflected the clear night sky, its endless expanse dotted with stars. The soft hum of conversation filled the air, and the warm glow of the floating candles cast a cozy light over the room.

Though she and Jaun had parted ways after their intense conversation in her dorm, Raena couldn't help but feel a lingering sense of unease, as she knew very well that something was still unresolved.
