Shaun scoffed, he stood up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing out at the skyscrapers. He pulled out another cigarette and lit it. After taking a drag, he exhaled a cloud of smoke and slipped his hand into his pocket before turning to face Harry. "How clueless have you been towards Valerie's true feelings, Harry?"

Harry's face darkened. "What are you trying to say? I knew Valerie's feelings, and I loved her, treated her with respect. I've never done anything to hurt her. Everyone knows this. You of all people knows!"
