Samantha moved towards one of the twins with physical strength, while Flare went head to head against the one which excelled in using mana.

On Samantha's side, she first parried the scythe with her spear before moving in for a thrust. Though, that twin rotated her scythe around her body as she took a few steps back, dodging Samantha's attack.

-Pierce!

Samantha's attack barely reached that twin, cutting a part of her dress near the stomach before that twin stepped back a few more steps.

As soon as Samantha's spear reached its maximum range, she began retracing her spear. Using that brief window of time, that twin dashed towards her covering half the distance in a single step.
