He slowly retracted the step he had taken and, holding the tray with one hand, touched the back of his head and said to Lin Yi, "All right, I'll wait for you, but hurry up, I'm afraid there won't be any seats left."
As Wei Liang spoke, he pursed his lips and gestured with his eyes toward the few empty seats in the Student Cafeteria.
But as his gaze swept over those empty seats, he saw a chef sitting upright on one of them, silently watching him and Lin Yi.
The corner of an apron peeked out from behind the table, ghastly green like a lantern in a tomb.
