Author Introduction.
Hello, Reprobate here.
I think if it was a "Classroom of the Elite" crossover story, this 'introduction' section would've been made redundant, however; seeing as how I am a newbie in this whole 'original story' community, I feel obligated to give a little introduction about myself and what inspired me to write this story.
This is not my first story. As of now - the time I am writing this 'Introduction,' I have another story called 'Bleak Midwinter,' which is still continued and not dropped.
And while - as I said a moment ago - this is noy my first story, it is indeed my first ever attempt at a story that has more complicated power system. While I was reading LoTM, I was heavily inspired by it and decided to do something similar.
Bleak Midwinter has been a rather simple but very strict rules story, with the characters and everything else being extremely logical and being shaped into a tight mould. Breaking this mould, even as a writer, is hard. Because the world has it's own set of pre-determined laws around which it revolves.
So I wanted to make something much more light hearted where the mc is not troubled, not overly...cynical - for the lack of better words -, not placed on a pedestal where has to do everything himself. At least not right from the beginning.
It's the journey of a boy transitioning from his childhood and take his first steps into manhood, and facing the challenges that most of us face.
Now that I have mentioned LoTM, you might find inspirations but it does not mean that it is a copy-paste. I have a different theme for the mc, unlike Klein. And I mean this in a positive way- not in a targeting way.
That is it for the intro and my ramble.
I will be publish important info in a chapter named glossary when the time comes inside the auxiliary volume.
