"I….i….i…. What?" Maryam asked clearly unhappy.

"I need a change of shoes?!" Lara said changing her words after seeing Maryam's look.

" I'm aware, Mr Butler where's the shoes" Maryam asked a smile gracing

her lips.

After a pair of boots was bought to her Lara grudgingly removed her heels and wore the boots.

She looked at her future mother in law after wearing the boots as if waiting for instructions. She made eye contact Maryam and she felt a trace of fear.

How could she not, she was face to face with a former world wanted assassin. Maryam was born in an assassin training island and was trained to kill since the moment she could walk. Being a killer from that young surely gave her this scary look.

Thinking about it how did she ruin Lucas' life with such a woman as a mother. Yes this woman had retired but...
