Giant steel pillars fell from the sky, seven or eight of them landing in different regions of Earth. These massive structures, glowing faintly with energy, struck with such force that they left craters in their wake. By Friday, drones were deployed to investigate the mysterious objects. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that each pillar contained an immense, otherworldly energy source that continuously funneled its power deep into the Earth's core.
The plan was to send the drones closer for a detailed investigation. However, this proved impossible. Surrounding each pillar was an energy force field unlike anything seen before. The force field wasn't just strong—it was unbreakable by conventional means. Brute force wasn't an option. Worse still, the consequences of tampering with the pillars were unknown, raising fears of catastrophic repercussions.
But brute force wasn't the only way forward.
From the ground, the pillars appeared randomly placed, scattered across the planet. However, when observed from space, their positions formed a distinct and deliberate pattern—a formation. At the very center of this formation lay Riverton City, marking it as the core of the mystery.
At that moment, Batman, one of Earth's greatest tacticians, was already active in Riverton City. Operating under automated protocols, Batman's advanced systems allowed him to take action without direct intervention. By the time Charlie, the person controlling him, took over, Batman had already reached the location of the pillar.
Unlike his usual attire, Batman was wearing a unique suit designed for combat against overwhelming odds. This armor wasn't activated yet, as stealth was still the priority. Charlie maneuvered Batman to the perimeter of the giant pillar. Once there, Batman engaged his Allen System, a sophisticated infiltration tool, and passed through the energy barrier with ease.
The force field was undoubtedly advanced, emitting a strange glow as Batman breached it. Once inside, Batman switched to stealth mode to avoid detection. Outside, the drones continued to scan but could only detect the energy levels of the pillar. What lay within was a complete mystery, making Batman's mission of reconnaissance critical.
After passing through the barrier, Batman found himself inside the colossal metal structure. The interior was a dark, eerie chamber. Twisting metal vines and tentacle-like structures covered the walls, pulsating faintly with energy. They stretched endlessly into the shadows, giving the space an unsettling, alien feel.
Activating detective mode to analyze his surroundings, Charlie was surprised when the system faltered. The screen flickered with static before displaying an error message. This was unexpected—detective mode had never been disrupted before. It reminded Charlie of certain scenarios in the Arkham games where villains used specialized equipment to block Batman's scanners. In those cases, the solution was to hack the system or eliminate specific enemies. But here, the interference felt different—more powerful.
Despite the setback, Batman pressed on. His movements were silent, his form cloaked in stealth. Suddenly, from the darkness, a shadowy figure darted toward him at incredible speed. The attack came without warning, a whirlwind of movement aimed directly at Batman. Most would have been caught off guard, but Batman's advanced suit gave him a sixfold boost in reaction time. Charlie, anticipating a surprise, activated the Allen System. Batman's body shimmered momentarily, turning into a ghostly afterimage. The attacker passed through him harmlessly.
The figure landed, surprised at having missed. Batman countered immediately, hurling two bat darts with precision. But the enemy was no ordinary fighter. Moving with lightning-fast agility, the attacker dodged the darts in a zigzag motion. The darts exploded mid-air, their fiery blasts lighting up the chamber briefly before fading.
This wasn't going to be a simple infiltration.
As Batman prepared for the next move, another threat emerged. From the shadows, a liquid-like substance surged toward him, rippling and flowing like a tidal wave. Batman rolled to avoid the attack, narrowly dodging the strange material. However, before he could regain his footing, more of the substance erupted from the ground, aiming to ensnare him. It wrapped around his boots, threatening to immobilize him completely.
Reacting quickly, Charlie reactivated the Allen System. Batman's body trembled as he phased through the substance, escaping just before it solidified. The liquid retreated, returning to its source—a figure standing nearby. This individual's entire suit seemed to be made of the same flowing, light-blue material, shifting and swirling as if alive.
Things only got worse. A heavily armored figure stepped forward, its bulky frame and mechanical arms creaking with each movement. It was joined by two others, both slimmer and more agile. These two were near-identical in appearance, one adorned with glowing blue lines and the other with dark red. Each carried a sleek, high-tech cannon, their symmetrical designs striking an almost artistic balance.
Five enemies in total surrounded Batman. It was clear that these weren't ordinary soldiers. Their coordinated movements and advanced gear marked them as elite fighters. Batman had stumbled into the first line of defense for whatever force had brought the pillars to Earth.
The odds were daunting: one against five, each opponent clearly formidable. But Charlie had planned for this.
Without hesitation, he activated Batman's specialized armor. A gray-black mech descended from the shadows, crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact. The force of its landing sent dust and debris flying in all directions. Batman leaped into the cockpit as the mech powered up. The hatch closed with a hiss, sealing him inside.
The mech's form was imposing, rising like a predator from hibernation. Its eyepieces glowed icy blue, and a massive black bat symbol was emblazoned across its chest. Every movement of the mech exuded raw power and precision.
"Execute Code: Fenrir," Batman's voice echoed coldly from the cockpit.
The mech responded instantly, its systems roaring to life.
"Meet the Justice League Destroyer," Batman declared, ready to face the five enemies surrounding him.
