Yelena Belova muttered, her face serious, mumbling through a mouthful of chips.
Then, through the surveillance cameras, she spotted Chen Ye moving confidently and casually.
At first glance, this guy seemed easier to deal with than the blurry, fast-moving monster!
To be cautious, Yelena didn't make a move. Instead, she continued to observe Chen Ye through the cameras.
Soon, she saw a fellow trainee launch an attack on Chen Ye.
Yelena recognized this trainee—a relatively strong individual among the current batch.
Wearing nothing but a thin hospital gown, the trainee tailed Chen Ye, moving stealthily on tiptoe like a nimble black cat, creeping up behind him.
However…
Yelena thought that this trainee was unlikely to succeed.
Since this guy dared to walk around so casually, he must have some sort of reliance…
What happened next confirmed Yelena's judgment.
Her fellow trainee stabbed the man with a makeshift knife fashioned from a piece of metal.

Through the surveillance feed, Yelena could see the look of terror on her fellow trainee's face.
Shortly after, the man lightly touched her fellow trainee, and she instantly fell unconscious.
"Another monster!!"
Sweat dripped down Yelena's forehead as she realized that the man was even more dangerous than the speedster.
He seemed to have the power to control everything around him!
"This 'Red Room' is doomed. Even if the instructor (Taskmaster) were here, he wouldn't stand a chance against these two monsters, let alone when he's apparently not here today... I'd better find a way to escape!"
Yelena finished the last of her food and then looked up at the ventilation duct.
"The only exit is definitely not an option. Fortunately, I know where the hidden door is..."
With that, Yelena climbed into the ventilation shaft.

The Red Room base wasn't very large.
About the size of a shopping mall.
Chen Ye searched the entire place but couldn't find the "Taskmaster" or even the third-generation Black Widow.

The sound of something cutting through the air.

"Master, all clear," Quicksilver reported.
Chen Ye frowned slightly and asked, "Did you encounter any tough opponents?"
"Tough opponents?" Quicksilver thought for a moment and replied, "They all went down with one punch. Hard to tell."
Chen Ye glanced at Quicksilver.
Was this guy showing off in front of him?
Does he believe I can't knock him out with one punch too?
"Let's go. Time to regroup with Black Widow!"
With that, Chen Ye headed towards the hidden door Black Widow had mentioned.

Chen Ye arrived at a spacious area and couldn't help but smile at the scene before him.
A young girl was sparring with Black Widow, and they seemed evenly matched!
The two exchanged fierce attacks, engaging in close combat techniques like wrist grabs, leg locks, and armbars.
Chen Ye noticed elements of several martial arts styles in their movements.
Wing Chun, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu…
It was quite the spectacle!
And considering it was two beautiful women fighting, it was even more captivating to watch.

Scarlet Witch's eyes lit up when she saw Chen Ye and quickly ran over to him.
Chen Ye asked with a smile, "Why didn't you help?"
Scarlet Witch replied, "Natasha wouldn't let me. That girl called Natasha a traitor, and it seemed to infuriate her."

He remembered from the Black Widow comics that the third-generation Black Widow, Yelena Belova, had immediately called the second-generation Black Widow, Natasha, a traitor when they met!
