Chapter 27: Chapter 26

In a modern, peaceful city, where would you find the most firearms?

Of course, it's the police station!

Chen Ye was heading to the Boston Police Headquarters, a spacious building.

At the CDC, he had found a map of Boston, so he knew the location of the police station.

At that moment, the police station was a mess.

The ground was littered with corpses.

There were bodies of officers, but even more of zombies.

In addition to the corpses, the ground was covered with shell casings.

After all, this was the Boston Police Headquarters, housing a large number of firearms. Killing so many zombies was only natural.

However, the outcome was still tragic.

In the world of "World War Z," the zombies were incredibly strong and fearless. Even if the military intervened, they would face annihilation.

As Chen Ye entered the police station, his reckless demeanor quickly became cautious.

He suspected there might still be some survivors hiding somewhere.

Getting shot here would be an unjust death for him.

Carefully, he proceeded inside the police station. Using the internal map, he finally found the armory in a basement.

The journey was smooth, and he encountered no one.

Chen Ye sighed in relief and opened the door to the armory.

Then...

He was stunned!

The walls of the armory were covered with guns.

Pistols, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles...

Everything was there!

Besides guns, there were grenades, C4 explosives, flamethrowers, and other large-scale weapons.

Chen Ye's face lit up with a smile.

At the same time, a bold plan formed in his mind.

He decided to use the police station as a base to slaughter zombies!

The guns and ammunition in the armory were too heavy to move, which would drain his energy.

So, he began to act.

After confirming no one else was in the station, Chen Ye took action!

First, he took all the C4 explosives and hid them around the nearby streets.

Then, he placed two Gatling guns at the entrance of the police station.

Next, he took high-explosive grenades to the rooftop.

As for the flamethrowers, Chen Ye decided to abandon them.

Playing with fire against zombies was not a good idea; it might backfire.

Zombies would charge mindlessly forward, even if they were on fire. As long as their brains weren't damaged, they felt no pain.

Using a flamethrower might not kill the zombies, but it could get Chen Ye burned to death by the fire the zombies carried.

As for the rifles and sniper rifles...

Chen Ye wasn't interested.

It wasn't that they lacked power.

But their kill range was insufficient.

Using a rifle to kill zombies, even with headshots every time, would be a waste of time for Chen Ye!

Meanwhile...

Other reincarnators were struggling to survive, facing life and death challenges.

The zombies in this world were too crazy.

If they found a healthy human, they would relentlessly attack until either they or the human was dead.

Many reincarnators thought they were in safe places.

But it wasn't long before the zombie horde besieged them, making their situation precarious.

On the rooftop of a shopping mall building...

A dozen reincarnators looked at the endless sea of zombies below, their faces pale with fear.

Even the young man with a "D" grade rating was ashen-faced.

They had made too much noise, attracting too many zombies.

At first, they killed many zombies and were quite pleased, thinking they would get a good rating for this mission.

But as the number of zombies grew, they quickly became terrified.

Now, at least hundreds of thousands of zombies surrounded them. How could they kill them all?

Once the zombies broke through, their fate would be dismemberment, becoming zombie snacks!

"Damn! There are too many zombies, the obstacles at the entrance won't hold much longer..." a female reincarnator said in horror.

Everyone on the rooftop turned pale.

"Quick! Find something to block it, think of a way to block it!"

The young man leading the group shouted.

He no longer cared about the mission rating; he just wanted to survive!

Unfortunately, the rooftop was empty. There was nothing to block the door.

Seeing the obstacles at the entrance loosening, the young man's face darkened as he began to consider escape routes.

As for the other "allies" on the rooftop?

In his plan, they were just cannon fodder...

Anyone who could achieve a "D" rating in a safe zone must be ruthless. There was no way he would willingly share the mission rewards with others.
