It seemed the masked girl came from a wealthy background.
"No, I don't want an alliance." Chen Ye firmly closed the discussion.

The middle-aged woman still wouldn't give up and was about to continue when someone suddenly urged them.
"What are you two whispering about? Get to work!"
The voice belonged to Lin Guoping.

Inspector Huang sized him up and then said to Liu Jianming, "Everyone hasn't had dinner yet. Jianming, take this guy downstairs and get everyone some pork chop rice."
Everyone in the office was stunned by this order.
They couldn't understand why Inspector Huang would assign a senior officer to run an errand.
Especially since they were about to arrest Han Chen. Sending Liu Jianming and a first-level officer away at this crucial moment seemed counterproductive.
Why would Inspector Huang do this?
Only Chen Ye knew the answer.
Hearing Inspector Huang's order, Chen Ye smiled slightly.

"Enough, Ah B. Let's go get the food," Liu Jianming interrupted Lin Guoping.
Lin Guoping looked displeased but could only comply.
Inspector Huang asked Liu Jianming, "Jianming, do you have enough money for the food?"
"Of course," Liu Jianming smiled.
"Good. Remember to get a reimbursement from me when you return."
"No problem."
As Liu Jianming and Lin Guoping prepared to leave, Inspector Huang pointed at Chen Ye and said, "You go help too. There's too much food for just two people to carry."
Chen Ye was slightly taken aback but quickly understood. Inspector Huang wanted him to monitor Liu Jianming and Lin Guoping to prevent them from making any calls to tip off anyone.

Just as he was about to leave, the middle-aged woman stood up and said, "I'll go help too."
Chen Ye frowned at this.
Inspector Huang gave the woman a curious look but didn't object and nodded his approval.
So, what was supposed to be three people going downstairs to buy food turned into four.
