Chapter 24: Talent scouts

I got to the dormitory and the others gathered around me.

Lei Yuanyun excitedly clapped me on the shoulder

"You're a small star now. Everyone is talking about the play today"

I laughed and walked towards the bathroom. After washing up, they pulled me into the game and we played long into the night.

When I woke up, I stretched and looked at my phone. After seeing the time I sprang up from bed. It was already past 12. We had to meet with the drama professor at 1pm today.

I wasted no time in taking a shower and hurriedly dressing up. I quietly closed the door and rushed out. Those guys were still fast asleep.

I bought some steamed buns and a cup of milk tea. A bit against etiquette but I finished my snack while rushing to class.

I got there at the same time as the professor and sat somewhere in the middle. The hall was buzzing with a mix of excitement and nervous energy.
