Chapter 2: Chapter 1
Waking up was something he did not expect, feeling disoriented his training took action quickly with him surveying his current location which seems to be a room.
After making sure that no one was there he took a seat to reorganize his mind with meditation, as soon as he did he was hit with a sledgehammer of memories and experiences that he was sure he was not supposed to have.
Meditating for close to an hour he then woke from it and headed directly to the private bathroom, seeing himself as a young chocolate skinned man that seems to be around the age of thirty something...wait thirty one with a goaty beared and brown eyes.
Closing his eyes as he took a deep breath before opening and looking back at his reflection, his name is now Reginald 'Reggie' Franklin. And if that was not a kicker he's a famous hero and a speedster as well, if all the fact's that is present to his face was proof enough then that means he's in the boys universe. All the memories, feelings, experiences that Reggie lived through is now at his disposal.
He was never a believer of God, Karma or any of those nonsense. But if what he went through is proof enough it means that there really is something or someone out there, and unlike others he would not be ungrateful or whine nor complain. He has been given a second chance, he now has a family and even a girlfriend.
And he'd be damned if he did not do whatever was necessary to ensure their safety, going to the wardrobe to get his costume he saw his full body in the reflection. It seems that his body was not only ripped and seems to be a balance between a muscular and a swimmer's build with eight packs but he was also well endowed as well.
Whistling in appreciation he got into his suit and then went out, navigating his way through the Vought employees to exit the building was a breeze before he got to the lobby, he exited and saw the street and the surrounding buildings.
His appearance drew the attention of the citizens as they tried to approach him before he used his powers and disappeared from his current location leaving the crowd stunned on where he could have disappeared to, running while the world was still was amongst the most desired power of many fans of the flash with each step propelling him forward.
Feeling like he could go faster he sped up even faster, he had something he wanted to try in mind and for that he needed to discreetly get Harriman State Park, the reason is not only was that place mostly isolated but because he does not want to cause unnecessary accident to harm the innocent.
Luckily it was already night time around 12 am when he started running and it was also raining with some flashes of thunder so he's in luck, getting there he looked around before speeding around just to be sure no one would witness what he was about to try.
Seeing that no one was around he spoke the sacred words.
"3x2(9YZ)4A=?"
For a moment there was only the sound of the rain and the clap of thunder occupying the space while Reggie kept his head up and searched for anything out of the ordinary but nothing.
Feeling immensely disappointed that his inner child's wish couldn't be fulfilled, before he turned around and not even running but slowly walking back.
A moments later a foreboding feeling came over him, slowing perception for himself to see what caused it he bore witness to the blue mother of all lightning crashing on him causing him to black out.
Waking up he found himself staring at his previous face of his last life looking at him with a smile with his arms folded behind his back.
"Took you long enough...so tell me stranger who are you and why did you call out to me?"
Looking back at what could only be the representation of speedforce he answered.
"I'm quite sure you know going by the look you chose to appear before me, so I won't beat around the bush. Can I gain access to you?"
It only looked at him for a while pondering with it's arms crossed over it's chest, it then hummed before responding.
"That is for me to decide, however you seem like an interesting one. I've had many users and avatars before yet none has managed to accomplish half the things you did as a human before they themselves were speedsters...
Very well I allow it, you shall be granted access to the speedforce. But only on one condition, a favor that I can call upon at any time.
Should you accept not only would I enhance your connection to the speedforce, nothing will ever be able take nor block your connection to the speedforce ever again...On this I vow.
As a bonus whenever you do need to relax and partake in alcohol as long as it's your intention you can get drunk, but in the case of being in danger the speedforce would sober you up."
Seemingly overwhelmed Reggie asked the speedforce " Not that I'm not grateful for your gracious offer, but will your favor cost me or mine?"
Seeing this it could only chuckle, before opening it's palm with what seemed like a blue energy ball crackling with barely contained power in it's right hand. Approached him before standing face to face with Reggie, He could only look at the entity with wariness with what that energy entailed.
"Trust me when I tell you, you would rather gain the benefits alongside me. After all I care for all of my users, for me you may as well be my children. So tell me do you accept?"
Reggie took some moments to think about it, his guts told him to accept, he was never led astray by his gut feelings. He nodded his head in agreement, the speedforce entity only smiled as he pressed the energy ball to his chest.
He did not feel any pain nor discomfort only more power rapidly increasing as blue lightning trailed through his veins and body as well as the feeling of comfort like he's at home a safe space, as soon as it disappears he looked towards the entity as and the environment started to slowly fade.
"Well looks like your time is up, should you ever wish to speak with me I'll always be here. You unlike Allen will wake up immediately after accepting the gift, safe travels child of the force."
Waking up Reggie found himself on the ground with it still being night time as well as raining, getting up while wiping the mud off his face he sped of to a lake before thoroughly cleaning himself. Taking a seat on a nearby rock he started to contemplate on what to do, in his last life he was an assassin, a very dangerous one at that but a tool none the less.
He's no longer going to be no one's tool as this is his second chance at life he would make sure not to waste it, he took his phone to look at the current date he could see in what time period he is. It was February 6th of 2018, so simply put he's a year ahead of the plot.
That was good but since he does have time as he now not only has speedforce, but now time would not be wasted if he trained inside the speedforce as it's outside of time yet inside it if it makes sense.
Trying to feel his connection blue electrical current started to flow through his as powers beyond imagination was coursing through his veins, taking a runner's position he disappeared from the park in a trail of lightning.
Before reining in his active connection to speedforce so that he did not leave a trail of lightning during his run, getting to the city he went back to Vought tower to get changed, on his way to his room he bumped into Meave before him, if he was simply Reggie he would apologize and go but since he was him he would not whimper around like a dog.
He only nodded at her and went on his way leaving her confused as he was usually the type to greet her everytime they saw each other but now he only did so with his head.
'Somethings up with him, what could that be though?'
Was her current thoughts before a voice in the corridor rang out "I don't know about you Meave, seems to me like the pup has grown into a wolf. I really like that, oh well I may even ask him if he wants to go with me and our boys for a drink."
Said translucent as he appeared with his usual shameless nakedness, ignoring the pervert she only walked off leaving translucent to stare at her sinful body with a lick of his dried lips.
Looking back towards the direction that their speedster left he had a face of contemplation, before he shrugged and went invisible with the room once again becoming silent and empty once again.
