Chapter 54: Are you crying?
Hirvan was beside himself with worry, his thoughts racing into the worst possible scenarios. He couldn't shake the image of someone taking advantage of Fu Yan, coercing him into drinking or, even worse, spiking his drink with something more sinister. His mind raced, his anxiety fixating on Fu Yan's striking appearance.
'Look at this face!' he thought frantically,
'He's so handsome, someone could easily target him.'
The possibility that Fu Yan had consumed something more dangerous than alcohol gnawed at him, fueling his fear.
"Fu Yan, who made you drink? Come on, tell me!"
Hirvan's voice trembled with urgency as he leaned closer, searching Fu Yan's glazed eyes for answers.
"I... I did it..."
