"Since you've said so, I won't say much more. The milk tea here is really good, you should try it."
Li Wei nodded slightly, picked up the milk tea and took two sips, finding it indeed much tastier than the ones outside, not at all in the same league.
Afterward, he continued chatting with Liu Qing and Liu Minghao.
After coming out of Kasqi, Li Wei drove them back home to the most expensive Riverside Residence in Jiang City, the prime location!
After parking the car neatly, Liu Qing invited Li Wei to come up and sit for a while, but he politely declined.
"Sister Qing, you must be tired from the day's work, you should rest well. I won't intrude. I have another engagement this evening, and I need to make a trip there now."
"Alright, then come to me with the contract tomorrow morning at ten."
"Sister Qing, I..."
"Don't get me wrong, it's not because you helped us today, nor is it because Minghao highly values talent that I am agreeing to this deal. I place great importance on a person's character. You have a light in your eyes, very clean!"
Li Wei was very excited by her words, the deal had turned out to be a success just like that, it really was a stroke of dumb luck.

"Sure, see you tomorrow."
Liu Minghao also waved goodbye to Li Wei: "Bye, Uncle!"
"Goodbye, Minghao!"
Watching Li Wei's disappearing figure, waves started to stir deep within Liu Qing's heart.
Although she was a very rational businesswoman, having spent the past few years raising a child alone while dealing with all sorts of company matters, she was physically and mentally exhausted and longed for a man's support.
Of course, even so, she remained rational, because men in the workplace were most adept at pretending.
As for Li Wei, he didn't harbor much thought about Liu Qing, he simply wanted to clinch the deal.
After all, he had snatched this deal from Zhao Jun's hands, and if he couldn't land it, it would seem like a face-losing situation.
After leaving Riverside Residence, he walked for another ten or so minutes before finding a ride and then returned to Liu Minghao's school.
It was already six in the evening, and he needed to hurry to Wang Juan's parents' home to see what they wanted to discuss with him tonight.
Half an hour later, Li Wei parked his electric scooter and quickly rushed into the elevator.
He and Wang Juan were still living in a walk-up apartment while Wang Juan had paid to help her parents move into an apartment with an elevator. What irked him most was that a large part of that money was earned by him, yet his own family didn't receive a word of praise. It was truly fucking frustrating!
Li Wei arrived at Wang Juan's parents' doorstep sweating profusely and rang the doorbell a few times before the door opened.
The one to open the door was his mother-in-law. She glanced at him with disdain before turning around and walking away.
Though Li Wei was irritated, he still managed to squeeze out a faint smile.
After entering, he casually closed the door behind him.
"Sorry, Mom and Dad, I went out to meet with clients in the afternoon, so I arrived late."
Wang Juan looked at him with disdain: "Hurry up and sit down! Mom, Dad, and my brother have been waiting for you for an hour. A mere salesperson, and yet you're busier than the boss all the time."
Li Wei was very annoyed by the comment but held it in.
He was hungry now and needed to fill his stomach first.
Then, as he ate his meal in big gulps, he asked his mother-in-law what they wanted to discuss by calling him over.
Wang Juan's brother, Wang Lei, said to Li Wei with annoyance, "I'm planning to get engaged to my girlfriend, but her parents say we need to buy a new apartment first. So, I was thinking of borrowing some money from you and my sister."
Damn it, it's about borrowing money again. Li Wei knew this family had no good reason for calling him over.
"Getting engaged is a good thing! You're not getting any younger, and it's time to settle down. I should help out. My salary just got paid this month, a total of six thousand. I will transfer it all to you later."
Upon hearing this, Wang Lei immediately got irritated, stood up abruptly, and pointing at Li Wei, he cursed, "Are you fucking brushing me off like a beggar?"
"Aren't you?" Li Wei coldly stared back at him and retorted.
