Chapter 3: Author’s Note
Alright guys, this is a big What-If scenario. What If Dragons Were Ressurected At Summerhall?
I know this kinds takes away from Dany's role in the story but I just want to clarify one thing; this is a massive overhaul from the actual Canon Story(Both Books and Show).
Several important events don't happen and are replaced by others; Aerys doesn't go Mad and is revered as the Dragonbringer, Rhaegar doesn't become obsessed with the Prophecy and Kidnaps Lyanna Stark, Robert doesn't start the Rebellion and is replaced by another, Rhaegar and Cersei do end up together.
There are a lot of things at play here, for example, Joffrey doesn't exist. I think that is a major improvement.
Dany stays in Westeros, Rhaegar is King, Dragons are now a thing that the Realm has gotten used to, and well…..Joffrey doesn't exist.
But there are things that are still somewhat the same like Ned does marry Catlyn and have their children, Jon Arryn marries Lisa and has their kid. Ned does come back with a baby Jon Snow...we'll see what's up with that….in the books, we don't know what's up with him. Mos of the whole Stark stuff is unchanged, well, except for them dying.
If you're not a fan of this because it completely nulls Dany's whole identity as the Mother of Dragons, its okay, I understand. But I wanted this story to show the sudden rebirth of Targaryen Power with their dragons and them properly getting ready for The Long Night.
Also, I just want Ned Stark to see a Dragon.
There will be a lot of things that will he explained with exposition drops, the Prologue was a quick run-down of what went down.
