Since it hadn't been as long as in the canon when they realised all these there were fewer Monarch class undead Han Ji didn't let out the five of the most suspicious people including Ling Xi for the mission.
Instead just like before normal people volunteered as a diversion and let the group into the Dark Abyss. He was sure that Liu Ru and Zhang Kong had followed them.
