Chapter 10: The Mischievous Cat
Yuuto looks at the cat who was tilting her head and says
"What do you want ?"
The cat just smiles and
*meow*
"Don't test my patience Yokai" his eyes glow for a bit making the air around him get colder and making the cat's fur stand and frightening her as apparent by her fall into the appartement
" Last chance " he says two golden gates opening behind him
" Okay okay , take it easy " the cat who now transformed into her humanoid form says
"Honestly couldn't you be more gentle , im quite a delicate girl " she follows with a seductive smile , but it doesn't faze Yuuto at all who kept looking at her with a disinterested expression
" Okay fine whatever " she grumbles
" Why are you here cat"
"I'm not a cat , you already called me a yokai so you should know im a nekomata "
" I couldn't care any less , why are you here " says Yuuto who already put away his weapons
The nekomata known by the name of Kuroka gives up on the playful act seeing it's not working as apparent by the yawning face he's making , making her slightly annoyed
"Hmph , i came here to check on ' The undead exterminator ' apparently you had quite the fun with the leeches"
[A/N: trust me i know the name is cringe i swear i'm being forced to put it in ]
Yuuto's entire persona immediatly crashes
" The what now?"
" Oh you didn't see the video posted about you in the media , it was quite a sight "
Suddenly Yuuto's eyes glow shiny red , and his expression change from neutral to mild annoyance
" I'll be right back " he says and he teleported away leaving a dumbfounded Kuroka behind
"Where did he go " she wonders
A few seconds pass by
Yuuto again suddenly appears in front of her scaring her
"I'm back"
"Where did you go?"
"Took care of a pest" [A/N : RIP random devil you won't be missed]
"Huh?"
"Never mind . carry on why are you checking on me "
"but-"
"Cat stop testing my patience , or i'll roast you alive" says Yuuto with a dangeous tone making Kuroka gulp
"Okay i'll get to the point jeez " she says then she stares seriously at Yuuto and asks
" What are your intentions for the gremory Peerage"
"The gremory peerage or your sister?" he responds with another making her flinch
"How did you know" she says making him look at her like an idiot
"you serious ?"
"what?"
"wait . you are serious damn . Cat anyone with functional eyes can tell you are related she's like a mini you , she's only less developed and with different colored hair and with the fact that nekoshou are extinct , it's not that hard to guess"
Kuroka bit her lower lip while hearing his comments but she still asks
" So what's your intentions ?"
"None"
"Huh?"
"i have no intentions or desire to interfere in the life of a bunch of brats who think the world is a game"
Of all the responses she expected this wasn't one of them
"Then why are you at that school ?"
" Are you questionning me Cat?" his disinterested look change to a dangerous one instantly making the hair on her body stand
"N-no . i'm just trying to protect my sister " she says somewhat weakly
" You know i would've fell for you weak appearance if you weren't capable of killing her entire peerage in the matter of seconds and taking her away"
The moment he said that, the weak visage of Kuroka vanishes
" Jeez you're no fun you know that , but i'm seriously just trying to understand your intention for staying at that school"
"I'm bored "
"Huh?"
" Like i said i'm bored , and interesting things are bound to happen in that school "
" So you joined a human school just for that?"
"What are you talking about , i am also human you know"
"Say what? " Kuroka felt like her brain broke by the last sentence
" I think i heard you wrong , what did you say you were ?" she says rubbing her ears as if mishearing
"you didn't mishear a thing , i am human" he says with a straight face
And as expected Kuroka.exe has stopped working
Silence reigned for a few seconds as Kuroka was in the middle of her existential crisis and Yuuto was thinking ' what should i have for dinner today , i mean hell i got a city's worth of different kinds of food'
"IMPOSSIBLE , HUMANS CAN'T BE THAT STRONG YOU'RE LYING" Kuroka who snapped back shouted like she was denying reality
"Keep you voice down you bloody banshee"
"you - you " Kuroka just pointer her finger at him saying "you"
" Woman stop saying 'You' and form a meaningful sentence , or better yet get the hell out i want to eat my dinner in peace"
Kuroka's vains were becoming visible by his comments , but then she heard the dinner part and her eyes started shinning
"Let me have some "
" Hell no"
"Whyyyy?"
"It's obvious , you're troublsome and i don't want to share my food"
"Don't be stingy just share a bit with me" she jumps at him
" Get off me you horny cat "
"Not until you share your food with , come on pleaaase"
" Fine just get off me you horny woman , your chest is so hard it's starting to suffocate me"
"IT IS NOT , i'm a Nekoshou everything about me is softs and queezable . why am i yelling this" she says as she gets off him
Yuuto then goes to sit at his table followed by Kuroka who was grumbling
He then opens his treasury and brings out various plates and places them on the table and Kuroka couldn't help but ask
" Just what do you keep in there , earlier weapons and now food "
But Yuuto just ignores her and says
" Shut up , eat and leave "
Kuroka just grits her teeth while muttering 'bastard' under her breath
But the moment she started eating she forgot all about it and continued eating like a wanderer in the desert who just found an oasis
By the time the two finished eating time was getting late
" Now that you ate more than half of my dinner get out "
" Fine fine i'm leaving , you're not getting popular if you keep getting so uptight"
" Says the virgin horny cat , get out before i throw you out myself"
"Bastard" she said before transforming to her cat form and leaving through the window she came from
Leaving behind Yuuto who just sighed , went to lay on his bed saying " well that wasn't worth my time" and doze off to sleep
The next morning
Yuuto was on his way to school but this time he was using a black and white motorcycle specifically he was the riding the stylish masterpiece Ducati Panigale V4
As he reached the school his took off his helmet under the gasps of the other students who were wondering who was riding such an expensive looking motorcycle
Knowing full well that the video of him ripping apart the leeches was all around the supernatural world , he made his way to the student council where Sona was waiting for him as soon as he knocked on the door
*Knock knock*
" Sona it's me "
"Come in"
Yuuto comes in the usual site of Sona who had an expresionless face and Tsubaki who stared at him for a bit then just shook her head as if giving up
" So . want to explain what happened yesterday ?"
" And why should i ?"
"Huh?"
"Sona i merely did what i wanted to do , there is no reason for me to justify it and the pests had it coming"
although Sona was internally agreeing as she also didn't like the vampires who rape and assult anything that moves she didn't let it show on her face
" You do realize that this will put you at odds with the vampires , there is probably hundreds of vampires who are already looking for you wanting revenge "
"Let them come , if it is death they desire death they shall get "
Both Tsubaki and Sona just looked at each other and looked back at Yuuto in silence
"What if that put us in odds with the vampires , you are my fiance after all"
But Yuuto continued to have his bored disinterested expression
" Even simpler , the moment anything happens because of me i'll annihilate all the vampires off the face of the planet , trust me i need the simplest of reason to erase the pests "
Tsubaki and Sona just gulped at his threat
But Sona bit her lower lip continued " but what if you couldn't know "
And she got her answer instantly
"That is impossible because i can see the futur- oh you're smart , not bad "
Sona then smiled triumphantly
" So you can see the future after all huh ? is that how you beat me in chess?"
" No i don't need to see the future to beat you in chess , in fact i could play blindfolded and you'd still lose "
" Aren't you understimating me too much" Sona frowned
" No in fact that's quite the understatement to myself honestly , you still have too much to uncover about me to even have the slightest of understanding about me and what i can do"
Sona then falls silent
But Yuuto breaks her silence by saying
" Have you noticed anything unusual in town lately "
Sona confused asks " unusual how?"
"Are your familiars for decoration ? like the fact that are new fallen angels in town "
Veins started appearing on her head by the first part of his sentence only to open her eyes widely at the latter part
"Huh? fallen angels ? where ?"
"Hey i gave you enough , you work with the other princess and figure out the rest yourselves , don't let her get ahead of you "
He says before getting up to leave
"Wait" Sona stops him
" Hmm?" he turns back and looks at her questionably
Sona was seen to be hesitating to ask something , but a deep breath later she makes up her mind she gets up from her seat and comes closer to him and says
" You see i actually found a good new condidate for my peerage , and i want to invite him but"
"But?"he looks at her confused
Sona's face starts getting red but she still says
" I wanted to get your permission because he's a boy" she says with her face burning and ears almost melting
Hearing her, Yuuto who was confused tried to keep himself from laughing , but he couldn't started laughing out loud "hahahahaha"
Sona couldn't be more embarassed
A few seconds pass by as Yuuto comes even closer to her , hold her chin and lifts it up so they can see eye to eye and he says with a charming smile
" Sona you don't need my permission for such a thing , it is your peerage you may do as you like. just make sure he knows he has to keep his hands to himself " he adds with an ominus tone at the end , making Sona shiver only this time it wasn't from fright
'By lucifer i must be mad' she thinks
Yuuto face starts getting dangerously close to her while saying " you're mine after all"
Sona though is barely listening as her only thoughts were ' is he going to kiss me , now ? here?' she closes her eyes expecting the kiss but instead she feels something her forehead , she opens her eyes to see that Yuuto kissed her forehead instead
Yuuto then backs away and asks with a teasing smile" were you expecting something else ?"
Sona's face now was dangerously close to exploding from the redness displayed on it as she looked like a tomato while keeping her head down avoiding his eyes
Yuuto then smiles and leaves through the door leaving behind a Sona who's brain stopped working and Tsubaki who was looking away counting sheep and sometimes grumbling about shameless couples.
