Chapter 9: Class' life and change
~POV: Uchiha Akira~
After the combat training, the lessons resume normally. Math with Ectoplasm and modern art's history with Midnight.
'What kind of high school has the -18 heroine teach Minors seriously...'
Aside from this strange decision from the principal, the lessons are ordinary
The day after the combat exercise, I arrive early before everyone else. I take the same seat as yesterday and closed my eyes
'Mind's eye of the Kagura'
i use the most efficient sensory skill in my repertory that belongs to Uzumaki sensors
'there's quite a few reporters at the entrance...'
after a few seconds of search
'Found him'
i found Shigaraki near the entrance of the school
'For now his body has not been tampered with and only has his decay quirk which is not his own to begin with. I can feel his hate from here though.'
His hate is already high, his calm demeanor is only facade.
i then search the surroundings of Tomura
'Kurogiri is there too... on closer inspection, he is a creepy one. His energetic/chakra signature is strange. His signature is cold and empty and looks like a walking corpse... no he IS a walking corpse.'
while i examine our brat-undead duo, someone calls out to me.
"Akira-san you really early today, the class only begin in 15 minutes."
I was too concentrated on them and forgot my own surroundings
"I could say the same for you Yaoyorozu-san. In my case i live on the campus so i just have to be here after my morning practice."
"You live on the campus? Don't you live with your parents?"
her words hit me like an invisible arrow through my chest. Sheltered lady lacks tact I see… can't blame her though
'Parents huh?...'
"No... I'm an orphan as far as i remember, i never knew them. the principal prepared a room for me to live near the teacher's quarters."
Yaoyorozu's face pales, realizing what she asked
"I-i'm sorry for being so tactless..."
"It's fine, I'm used to it. You can't really guess it since we only knew each other for a short time."
My words seems to calm her down. She sight heavily, The atmosphere is still heavy when Asui open the door
'thanks for the save Asui.'
"Good Morning Asui-san."
"Call me Tsuyu-chan and good morning Akira-chan, Ribbit."
The fact that everyone calls her Tsuyu-chan is a bit weird but...
'Chan? did she called me chan? It hurts...'

after introducing myself to those i did not speak to until today, Aizawa-sensei arrived.

I say with calm a composed voice. The entire class went silent
"The simplest solution is do a vote and whoever gets the most votes is elected. Is that all right with you sensei?"
his answer is obvious
"Do it however you want but quickly"
I nod and we proceed to the vote

Midoriya Izuku 2 votes
the remaining classmates are 1 or 0 votes
I am baffled by the result, this is not what i expected
'I even voted for Yaoyorozu, not myself and still... Do i have to manage Bakugo's temper and the Duo's perverted attitude?'
after thinking for few seconds I resign myself
'Sigh, fine... Better that than Four-eyes' rigidity.'
I don't understand how he survived till the end with this attitude
At lunch, I sit with the same group as yesterday but this time someone joined.
"You join us this time Yaomomo?" (Jiro)
'Again with that nickname? Is it a girl thing?'

"Sure, i don't mind"
She then sat right in front of me. We began to eat what Lunch Rush the cook Hero prepared

Yes, i can cook. Who said that the sharingan's use was limited to combat? Combined with Kage Bunshins, you can learn a lot of things.
"Akira-san, congratulation for you becoming the class representative."
Yaoyorozu said with a hint of disappointment
"Yeah yeah i think you are the best for it." (Hagakure)

Their answers makes me raise an eyebrow. I look toward my fellow man classmates. i question them with my eyes asking if they know why the girls were enthusiastic about it. they only raised their shoulders
"I did not asked for it at first so why me?"
It's a natural question after obtaining 5 votes after all
"Seeing how you treated Mineta during the exercise we thought that you will not let him do anything questionable."
Kaminari is visibly tense and uncomfortable. He probably thinks that he will also be a target
'Makes sense. But that makes 4 votes… Wait did Izuku vote for me? He had 2 votes compare to the original 3. Seems like he trust me quiet a lot, uess sharing secrets make me trustworthy to him.'
I turned to Yaoyorozu in front of me
"True i won't let him do anything problematic. For your information i voted for Yaoyorozu-san since i think she has the makings of a great leader, she only lacks experience. So she will take my place I can't assume my role"
Seems like she was taken aback
"I-is that so..."
The alarm suddenly rings
"Security alert level 3. All students head toward the exits in calm"

'Mind's eye of the Kagura'
i sense the presence of everyone in the school trying to identify the traitor present in the staff

He and Kurogiri are having a quick conversation before the traitor handed him some reports and programs. Kurogiri left as fast a he came but i finally identified the mole
'That's a tricky one we have here...'
The Mole is an employee of a foreign delegation in charge of students coming from aboard
'AFO knows how to play his cards right.'
Since our man here is part of a foreign delegation he can't be touched with normal means. If he is discovered it will create discord in cooperation programs affecting Japan's politics as a whole
"Akira-san what are you doing? We need to move."
Yaoyorozu pulls me out of my thoughts.
'Indeed we are in the middle of an alert'
"I'm coming."
We arrive before the lines, the students are panicking. My classmates try to calm the other students, in vain
'Alright then...'

Moving on top of the door i speak in a louder tone than usual
"EVERYONE CALM DOWN"
The student's voices in the hall fades rapidly
"There is no need to panic. It's only the reporters so you can rest assured."
The students finally calm down. Understanding that there is no danger, they move out quietly
'Sigh... this is only the beginning unfortunately.'
Back to class
"For this heroic lesson we will be three teachers present me, All Might and another one. We will do rescue training in various environment. you are free to wear your costumes or not."

In the bus everyone was seated except for Mineta who i knocked out for indecent behavior. I needed to calm Bakugo a little after what Tsuyu and Kaminari said. Looking at him in the eye with sharingan, he became more docile...
After disembarking. We reach a dome so huge it is ridiculous
'It's size is as big as a city. I don't even want to know the budget they have for this school.'

Number 13 greeted us at the entrance
'Am I the only one never exited like them? No Todoroki's the same.'
Number 13 then began her explanation as we walked toward the stairs

'Where is All Might? He shouldn't be tired thanks to the seal.'
I bet that he is saving people right now, That's the only thing he is good at after all
'Things don't change really...'
"Before we begin there's a few things i want to say."
Number 13 resumed her speech after discussing about All Might with Aizawa-sensei
"I imagine that you all know my quirk Black Hole that can suck up everything and reduce it to dust."
"Yes! and you can face any situation with it."
"Indeed but it is potentially deadly. As you have seen with Aizawa-san and All Might's lessons. Your Quirks can be potentially deadly."
'No shit Sherlock.'
If I land a direct hit with my Katon on a regular villain, not sure his corpse will still there afterward. At least If I don t hold back and you don't want to know about my best techniques

before she could even finish i felt a space distortion that will manifest in a few seconds

I called Aizawa-sensei. Number 13 Halt her speech and my classmates looked in my direction
"Something is coming."
I said while my eyes turned silver. After a brief moment the lights malfunctions and a black mist appears at the center of the facility.
"Regroup and don't move! Number 13 protect the students"
Aizawa-sensei said with a sense of urgency in his voice
"What is happening?" (Kirishima)
"Don't move! these guys are villains."
"What?!"
Guess this is still their first encounter
'Mind's eye of the Kagura'
I scanned all the villains present and their locations
'Mhm?'
I found something unexpected
'I take back what i said earlier. Things do change sometimes...'
