As the words left his lips, the Kronan swung his hefty club with formidable force and terrifying momentum.
"Go to hell!"
While Kronans in general were considered weaker than the Aesir, this unusually massive specimen clearly didn't fit that mold.
Forseti had no intention of confronting such a colossal opponent head-on. He dodged swiftly, countering with a swing of his warhammer.
Judgment!
The Hammer of Judgment flew forth, striking the Kronan's waist with a resounding "bang."
But this mighty, oversized Kronan, with strength far surpassing his kin, barely flinched from the blow, shedding only a few pebbles—hardly a scratch.
"Hmph, a Protoss, after all," the Kronan grunted. "But you won't be the first Protoss I've slain."
Despite his bravado, the Kronan's demeanor shifted upon witnessing Forseti's strike. His attacks grew cautious, revealing considerable combat skill.
Forseti relied on agility, evading and maneuvering, searching for openings to exploit.
"Boom!" The Kronan swung again.
Forseti, small in stature, darted forward, slipping between the Kronan's legs.
Holy Light Strike!
Gripping Verrigan's handle tightly, Forseti unleashed holy light and flames, hammering the Kronan's kneecap.
"Boom—"
The Kronan buckled, dropping to one knee.
Unexpectedly, as Forseti prepared to strike again, the Kronan seized the opportunity, sweeping his leg back, catching Forseti off guard and sending him crashing into a nearby rock.
Dazed and winded, Forseti gritted his teeth, struggling to his feet, eyeing the Kronan's seemingly unscathed leg with frustration.
No visible injury—this guy's skin was as tough as stone.
Forseti contemplated retreat.
The Forest of Delight, a settlement for Kronans of Vanaheim, housed more than one of these formidable beings. Prolonged combat risked attracting additional adversaries.
With this realization, he reached for a swiftness potion, applying it to his feet.
But the Kronans seemed to anticipate his move. They sneered, grabbing a boulder nearby and hurling it like a projectile, club raised to follow.
"Boom!"
The boulder shattered, hurtling toward Forseti.
Quickly, he summoned San Qi.
Light Shield!
A massive shield of light materialized.
"Bang bang bang!"
The shards pummeled the shield, forcing Forseti back a few steps.
Undeterred, the Kronans repeated their assault, breaking another boulder into fragments aimed at Forseti.
The projectiles packed the force of cannonballs, leaving Forseti no room to evade—only to rely on the Holy Light Shield for defense.
Though resilient, the shield's limits were becoming evident. Faced with a relentless barrage, cracks began to form.
Forseti gritted his teeth, finally summoning the Grand Shield of Light.
"Boom!"
The Kronan swung his club, smashing into the Holy Light Shield, shattering it.
Forseti seized the opportunity, closing the distance for close combat.
Their clash escalated swiftly, exchanging blows dozens of times within moments.
Forseti's agility allowed him to evade and counterattack, yet the Kronan's massive, stone-like body made killing blows difficult.
Moreover, every strike that landed, even glancing, felt like being struck by a rock.
The battle wore on.
Once more, Forseti dodged a Kronan's strike, finding his opening—the hammer descended.

Sword of Justice!
The blade surged from the earth, piercing beneath the Kronan's feet.
Caught off guard, the Kronan stumbled, howling in pain as gravel scattered.
"Ah!" He cried, unbalanced, crashing to the ground.
Seeing his chance, Forseti charged forward, both hands gripping Verrigan's handle.
Hammer of Justice!
The Kronan reacted swiftly, deflecting the hammer with his club just in time.
"Boom—"
Yet, the stunning impact from the Hammer of Justice caught him off guard, staggering him momentarily.
Forseti followed with another Hammer of Justice, striking the Kronan squarely in the face.
"Boom—"
The Kronan reeled, face obscured by dust and gravel, features indistinct.
As Forseti prepared to deliver a fatal blow, a surge of survival instinct jolted the Kronan. In a desperate move, he swung his head upwards with all his might, striking Forseti's forehead.
"Boom!"
The Kronan's forehead, incredibly dense, left Forseti seeing stars as he was flung backwards, senses reeling.
Seizing the opportunity, the Kronan rose swiftly, though still dizzy, attempting to rise several times before collapsing.
He retrieved his weapon, gasping, "Clever tricks, but that won't save you. I won't be fooled twice!"
Groaning, Forseti struggled to regain his bearings, channeling healing incantations to mend his injuries while plotting his next move.
"Bang bang bang—"
Amidst their stalemate, heavy footsteps echoed nearby, three more Kronans approaching.
"Boss!" they called out.
The lead Kronan grinned broadly. "Perfect timing—you found a Protoss. Let's finish him together!"
Forseti sighed inwardly.
Four Kronans now, one large and three smaller, each towering over him.
"Your time is up!" The Kronan leader growled, charging ahead, his three cohorts close behind.
No more options.
It seemed only the King's Blessing fragments remained viable.
Forseti exhaled, summoning the Holy Tome in his mind.
King's Blessing!
A faint aura of holy light enveloped him, coalescing into armor reminiscent of a legendary paladin—majestic and sacred!
Donning the armor of holy light, it was undoubtedly the most imposing spell Forseti had wielded thus far.
Yet, the King's Blessing exacted a heavy toll. The armor nearly depleted the remaining holy light within him, allowing for only two or three more offensive spells.
The four Kronans charged.
Forseti wasted no time, flipping his palm as light radiated forth.
